Providing, fixing, and finishing false ceiling using 8 mm thick perforated Hilux Calcium silicateacoustic tiles of M/s. Ramco. The installation must include the use of ceiling sections of GyprocXpert, with the perimeter fixed to the wall using drywall screws recommended by the manufacturer at a spacing not exceeding 400 mm c/c. Intermediate channels of Gyproc Xpert should be installed at a spacing not exceeding 900 mm c/c, while supports are to be fixed to the wall/truss using metal screws and PVC sleeves at a spacing not exceeding 1000 mm c/c. Ceiling sections will be provided across the intermediate channel at a spacing of 300 mm c/c. The ceiling channels must have a minimum overlap of 80 mm at joints and be fixed to the perimeter channels using metal screws at the ends. The tiles should be fixed to the frame using 3.5 mm x 25 mm self-tapping screws, with joints finished using jointing putty to achieve the required thickness. Finally, the surface of the false ceiling should be prepared by sand papering, followed by the application and finishing of one coat of approved make cement primer and two or more coats of approved make and shade premium emulsion. Lay polyester fiber wool above the perforated ceiling to avoid sound reverberation. This product must be thermally bonded, chemically free, eco-friendly, and healthy, ensuring it does not itch. It should remain in position for a lifetime without sagging in partitions. Additionally, the material must be non-allergic, exhibit high temperature resistance, and be fire retardant, with an NRC rating of up to 0.7.
