Fabrication and Replacement of Duct, Dummies and Patchworks in the PA Plant FACT CD, ATA 2025

Handling of Ball mill Feeed chute and Shell Dummy: The work involves the Collection of the required tools, tackles, etc from the store/workshop and transportation to the site. Making necessary site arrangements for dismantling the Feed chute and Shell Dummy(1No) including the scaffolding. Dismantling the Feed chute and shell dummy as per instruction from Shift in charge after obtaining clearnace. After Inspection / ball charging works fixing the dummy & feed chute as per the instruction from shift in charge. Any temporary structures shall be provided suitably for ease of dismantluing & fixing of the dummy & feed chute.

Fabrication and Replacement of duct near the Attack Tank Fume Hood: The work involves the Collection of the required materials, tools, tackles, etc from the store/workshop and transportation to the site, Making necessary site arrangements for dismantling the duct including the scaffolding, Taking measurements from the existing duct, Marking/Cutting/Bending the new MS Plates (8mm thick) to correct size and grinding the edges properly with suitable bevel/single vee, where the welding is to be done, Fabricating the entire duct with accessories including flanges, provision for gauges etc., Transporting the fabricated duct for the sandblasting, rubber lining and steam curing, Dismantling the damaged duct by unbolting/cutting from the Scrubber duct, attached lines, etc. and transporting it to the earmarked area, Transporting the new Rubber lined duct from the yard to work site and reassembling to the scrubber duct, Reconnecting the dismantled lines, gauges, etc. Any temporary structures shall be provided suitably for ease of erection. The inside surface shall be ground properly to facilitate rubber lining. New flanges shall be fabricated from 16/20 mm MS plates if required. The joints shall be welded (inside and outside)/bolted. A 100% DP test is to be done on the weldings. All welding shall be full welding only. All the parts shall be erected without any strain in the line. Any additional modification requirements in the duct and its attached lines which arise during the assembly shall come under the scope of the contractor's work. Rubber removal and rubber lining are not in the scope of this contract.
