Providing new cable trench & cable laying Providing new cable trench and laying of 11kV, XLPE insulated power cables in the trench. The scope shall include excavation of cable trenches for a depth of 1 meter and a minimum width of 300mm, laying of cable ( 3x300 sqmm ) and backfilling of trenches after cable laying . The scope include shoring, strutting, dewatering if required, consolidating and disposing of surplus earth ,all labour materials, tools etc. complete as per the directions of Engineer in Charge. The scope also includes supply and spreading /filling of sand in cable trenches, supply and installation of well burnt bricks of 50mm thickness for cable protection inside cable trenches after laying the cables as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge. The bricks shall be laid to enclose the sides of sand bed and cable. Cast iron HT Cable route markers shall also be supplied and installed in every 15 meters above the cable trench. The rates quoted shall be for the length of trench and not for thelength of cables.

Laying of 11kV, XLPE power cable Laying of 11kV, XLPE insulated power cable ( 3x300 sqmm) in existing trenches. The scope shall includes laying, dressing, fixing on cable trays /racks/risers /walls /columns /cable trenches /pipes, clamping, tagging, tying, drilling holes, minor civil work etc. The rates quoted shall be for the length of trench and not for the length of cables. All materials required for clamping and laying such as aluminium clamps/nylon ropes, bolts, nuts, washers, cable tags, etc shall be supplied by the contractor.

Providing straight joint Providing straight joint on 11KV, 3x300 sqmm, XLPE/PVC insulated armoured aluminium power cable using heat shrinkable type straight through jointing kits. Supply of suitable Denson/3M/RAYCHEM make kit shall be in contractors scope. All materials required and a licensed cable jointer required shall be supplied/arranged by the contractor.

Providing end termination Providing end termination on 11KV, 3x300 sqmm, XLPE/PVC insulated armoured aluminium power cable using heat shrinkable type end termination kits. Supply of suitable Denson/3M/RAYCHEM make kit shall be in contractors scope. All materials required and a licensed cable jointer required shall be supplied/arranged by the contractor.

Providing new cable trench & cable layin Providing new cable trench and laying of 3 run 100 pair armoured jelly filled telephone cables in the trench. The scope shall include excavation of cable trenches for a depth of 600mm and a minimum width of 300mm, laying of cable ( 100 pair telephone cables ) and backfilling of trenches after cable laying . The scope include shoring, strutting, dewatering if required, consolidating and disposing of surplus earth ,all labour materials, tools etc. complete as per the directions of Engineer in Charge. The scope also includes supply and laying of well burnt bricks of 50mm thickness for cable protection inside cable trenches after laying the cables as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge. Cast iron Cable route markers shall also be supplied and installed in every 15 meters above the cable trench. The rates quoted shall be for the length of trench and not for the length of cables. The telephone cables will be crossing the 11kV cable trench and the trench for telephone cables at that junction shall be of sufficient depth to obtain the minimum clearance as specified in the engineering specification 13ES915CD/22 attached.

Supply and installation of MS DB Supply and installation of MS, epoxy powder coated, outdoor mounting, IP 55,double door, 300 pair telephone distribution box with suitable IDCs (Krone 10 pair, 2/10 modules), SS back mounting frames, suitable panel keys & lock. The DB shall have parallel connected (jumpers) connection/disconnection modules in 2 columns. The DB shall also have provision for cable run & cable tie at both sides and in the center, knockouts at the bottom for cable entry, canopy for rain guard etc.The installation scope includes construction of suitable brick plinth of minimum 600mm height, Fabrication and fixing of base for DB using MS ISA 35x35x6, fixing the DB in the base using suitable fastners, termination of the cables in the IDCs etc. Supply of bricks, cement, sand, MS angles etc and all other materials required and minor civil works like PCC foundation, plastering of plinth etc will be in contractor's scope.
