Cable laying:-The scope of work includes laying of Aluminium/copper conductor, armoured, 3 or 4 core, upto 10sq.mm cable through cable trenches/structure. Transportation of cable from FACT -CD store/Phase1 Electrical workshop to the respective sites shall be arranged by the contractor.

Erection of new street light post(rail): The scope of work includes transportation of rail section (fabricated street light poles) from filler godown to various locations of FACT CD premises, earth excavation, providing PCC, erecting the same and concreting (ratio 1:4:8) the footing, constructing a brick work foundation above the ground level, and plastering the brick work. The scope also includes providing suitable size of webs at the bottom of the rail post before erection, providing 2coat coal tar paint above the single coat zinc chromate primer, yellow/blue band in enamel paint of 450mm wide at equal spacing of 450mm throughout the length, 2 coat multi-colour painting of brick work foundation, consolidating the soil after erection of poles etc. All work shall be carried out as per drawing attached and direction of site in-charge. Supply of MS angles, cement, aggregates, paint and all other materials required for the work are under the scope of contractor.

Erection of new street light post (Octagonal GI): The scope of work includes transportation of Octagonal GI post of 7M/5M height from FACT CD store to various locations of FACT CD premises, erecting the same over the RCC foundation, earth excavation, casting of RCC foundation using 1:4:8 concrete mixture, 8mm, 12nos vertical bar and 6mm, 10nos tie bars. The size of casting foundation is 35 x 35 x 150 cm and 30cm of the same projected above the ground level. "J" bolts of 16mm size(4nos) (supplied by FACT free of cost) and 40mm flexible PVC pipe (2nos)shall be properly inserted between bars and tied with wind wires in the shutter before pouring the concrete mixture. Suitably fabricated shutters/moulds shall be used for casting foundation identically. The surface of the foundation (concrete blocks) above the ground level shall be plastered with cement for surface finishing. The work shall be carried out as per the direction of site in charge. The scope also include providing 2 coat multicolour painting over concrete foundation. The complete materials including cement, aggregates, bars, inserting pipe etc., required for preparing foundation and painting materials are under the scope of contractor.

Supply of pole mounting type street lighting fixture: The scope of work includes supply of pole mounting type street light fixture with standard accessories (driver unit, heat resistant toughened glass/poly carbonate cover, power terminals etc.) with output not less than 9000 lumens, aluminium alloy die cast body with good quality Power LEDs. Input volt-230V, Degree of protection -IP-65, having minimum life time of 5000 Hrs and surge protection required. The fixture shall be of reputed make and covered with 2 years OEM site warranty for replacement/repair.

Installation and commissioning of LED type street light fitting (Rail). The scope of work includes installation of street light fixtures, termination of cables, testing and servicing. The light fitting shall be fixed on 3 mm thickness G.I pipe and the pipe shall be welded to the rail post. The work includes laying of 3 X 1.5 sq.mm Cu. cable for wiring the light fitting from the SMC junction box and clamping of cables to the post using Aluminium strip (width 20 mm and thickness 2 mm) at an interval not more than 60cm. All materials such as G.I pipe, Aluminium strips, G.I nuts and bolts, coupling/reducer for the pipes etc., required for the work shall be supplied by the contractor. The fitting shall be energised using 3 x 1.5 sqmm, copper conductor; PVC insulated PVC sheathed cable from the SMC box and shall be supplied and installed by the contractor.

Installation and commissioning of LED type street light fitting (Octagonal GI poles). The scope of work includes installation of street light fixtures, termination of cables, testing and servicing. The light fitting shall be fixed on G.I arm of octagonal pole. The work includes laying of 3 X 1.5 sq.mm. copper conductor, PVC insulated, PVC sheathed cable from the bottom terminal box to light fittings, providing suitable MCB and connectors for light circuit. All materials such as MCB 1P, 6A and cables and connectors required for the work shall be supplied by the contractor.

Supply of 250 X 200 X 150 mm size SMC box: The scope of work includes supply of 250X200X150 mm size SMC box and the box shall be provided with the following: 1).One No. 6 A MCB with ISI mark /porcelain fuse should be provided for the lighting circuit. 2) 2 Nos Al. strips (size 80mm X 20mm X 4mm) mounted on fibre insulation supports for interlinking cables. 3) Terminal for earthing: Terminal strip shall be provided with bolts, nuts & washers suitable for the cable connection for earthing. Required number of cable entry shall be provided only at the bottom side of the box.

Installation and servicing of SMC boxes on rail posts: The work includes installation and servicing of 250 mm X 200mm X 150 mm size SMC boxes on rail street light posts at suitable heights from the ground level. The work also includes glanding and termination of all the incoming and outgoing cables and internal wiring of junction box. The box shall be mounted on M.S brackets which shall be welded/clamped to the Rail post. Cable entry shall be provided only at the bottom of the junction box and suitable sized G.I/PVC pipes shall be inserted inside the brick work foundation for drawing the cables from cable trenches to SMC box. The spare holes shall be properly sealed.

Cable jointing: The scope of work includes jointing of 3/4C X 2.5/4/ 6/10/16/25 sq.mm armoured cables. Suitable size of cable jointing kit shall be supplied by the contractor.

Dismantling of damaged street light posts: The scope of work includes disconnection, dismantling and retrieving the junction boxes, fuses, cables and light fittings from the damaged street light posts, dismantling the damaged street light posts, transporting the same to the Phase1 scrap yard, clearing the site etc. The transporting vehicles, tools and machineries required for the work shall be arranged by the contractor.
