Supply, erection and commissioning of a new MS conical chimney of dia. 600mm X 315mm and made out of 12 mm, 8mmbrand 6mm thick MS sheet as per all the applicable standards and in compliance with the norms of PCB. MS flange with stiffeners of suitable thickness should be provided for connecting the chimney pipes and the connection should by using SS 304 nuts, bolts, washers, metallic gasket, U- clamps etc. thereon as required. The MS baseplate should have a minimum thickness of 25mm having ID 600mm and OD 900mm. The foundation bolt should be of MS having adequate length and diameter. All the welding to be done as per relevant standards and necessary tests to be conducted for ensuring the quality. The chimney shall be provided with ash cleaning door, inspection and sampling doors, canopy etc. All MS parts of the chimney shall be given surface treatment including degreasing, de-rusting etc., and a coat of primer shall be applied. The chimney should be finally painted with two coats of suitable heat resistant paint (600° C) at site. Note: - the rate quoted should include all the charges for repairing
and reinstalling fittings on the existing chimney like, ladders, cages, GI strip for lightening ariel etc. to the newly erected chimney including painting with 02 coats of heat resistant aluminium paint.

Repainting the chimney tower

Removal of rust and cleaning of all components of the chimney tower by appropriate method and as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge. Painting with two coats of zinc chromate metal primer/oil primer followed by two coats of heat resistant paints of 600 degree in such manner that successive coat shall be applied only after fully drying of previous coat to a minimum thickness of 25 microns
Note: the LS rate quoted should include the charges for the painting of replaced components also.
