Removing thicky formed oyster coating and other vegetable growth from the underwater portion of the vessel including cleaning the surface etc.Complete as per the direction and satisfaction of Departmental officeres

Chipping scrapping and cleaning the complete surface of the vessel body ,machineries ,pipelines and other accessories of the vessel body as per the direction of departmental officers

Gauging the thickness of the plates ,beam ,frame ,etc,at diferent portion of the vessel using ultrasonic thickness gauge after chipping ,scrapping and and filling the surface about 50mm dia and pasting greese /oil over it as per the direction of Department officers

Cutting and removing the old damaged ,weakend ,severely damaged various thickness ms plate /ms flat /ms angles /ms rods/beams /griders etc.marked by Department officeres invarious places of the vessel without damaging any other portion/structures/member onthe vessel as per the direction of Department officeres.

Supplying and welding with new various thickness marine quality ms plate /ms angles//ms flat/ms rod/beam/gazette of existing size and shape tto the various portions on the vessel already removed damaged portion of the after heating and bending into the shape ,V cut on the matting edge of the plate and welding three layer on both sides togrether .The rate include the the cost of materials ,welding charges ,tools,plants,scaffolding ,other incidental expenses etc.complete as per the direction of Departmental officeres.

Increase the volume of the engine room by increasing the height bulk heasd to 900mm from the engine room from the existing base ,as per the direction of an Naval architect ,Submit the new approved drawing and provide the inclenation and other necessary certificates to the department ,for the safe operation of the vessel ,as per the approval of Chief Surveyor .

Supplying and fitting by welding zinc anode weighing 2.5 Kg (exclude the weight of bracket) with bracket on the underwater portion of the hull without any damage etc. complete as per the direction of department officeres.

Dismantle the existing damaged rubber fender of diametre 130 mm from position . Refit the fender ,aall as per the direction and satisfaction of department officers.

Hand rails to be renewed with 2'' dia GI B -class pipe with support of 65X12mm flat at the Height of 450 mm fixing by welding 1m apart and replace the damaged chain with original dimention on the handrailes ,all are as per the direction of department officers.

Supplying and painting with approved (quality of entire quantity of primer supply should be get inspected and approved by engineer ,who is in charge of work /department authority before starting /continuation of the painting work ) best quality (marine) Yellow high rich zincromate metal primer 2 coats over all chipped surface after cleaning the surface after cleaning the surface etc.complete as per the direction of department officers.

Supplying and painting with approved (quality of entire quantity of marine synthetic enamel supply should be get inspected and approved by engineer ,who is incharge of work /Department authority before starting /continuation of thye painting work) marine synthetic enamel paint white or other approved colour 2 coats over the primer coat already done on the vessel body ,machineries ,pipe liles with colour code and other accessories etc.,as per the direction and satisfaction of departmental officeres.

For under water area copper slag /sand blasting to resist of corrosion as per the direction of departmental officers.

Supplying and painting 2 coats of the underwater portion with antifouling paint (quality of entire quantity of antifouling paint supply should be get inspected and approved by engineer ,who is in-charge of work /Department authority before starting /continuation of the painting work ) ove paint already done etc.complete as per the dierection of department officeres.

Replace the anchors along with the anchor winch and and wire rope from the vessel and supply & install a new motorised anchor winch mechanism with gear box with proper support ,makes standered fittings and accessories with a new anchor having 50 kg weight and 10mm thick chain having length of 30m metres instal on the forward bow portion of the vessel ,and provide a suitable cover by stitching in shape of tarpaulin having thickness of 2mm for the winch etc . pcompletes as per the direction of departmetal officers.

Supply and provide coir bed with cusion having size of 1530X630XX80 mm (L X B X T) with cusion and cover with rexine with suitable sib or fastening having good quality and suitable pillow or reputed make and a bed sheet of good qualty ,as per the direction and satisfaction of Department officals.

Replace the existing damaged rubber indicator after supplying ,installing new brand rubber indicator of digital type with standard accessories,cable, socker etc on the wheel house, asper the direction and satisfaction of department officials .

Removing the propellor with shaft and bushes from the sturn tube of vessel and dismantling the propellor from the propellor shadft etc,and reneww the cutlass bushes with original material and dimention ,gland packing ,bend checking and straigtening the shaft ,balancing and pitch correcting the propellor etc ,allas per the direction of departmental officers.

Check all the electrical wirings in the vessel ,replace defected holders,starters,bulbs,tubes,navigational lights ,search lights etc,by new arrange all the Dc and AC wiring properly and replace the panel board with AC wiring properly and replace the panel board with new type LED display and measuring the devices etc.Complete all as directed by department officers ( The contractor should procure the defected items from thye authorised dealer and submit the original dealer bill for its reimbursement .15% of the cost of spares will be paid to the contractor as overhead charges for arranging these items .These procured as well as the replaced items should get inspected bybthe engineer who is the in charge of the work and unserviceble /old items should be returned to Dpt for realisation of payment ).

Inspect the air conditionar installed on the wheel house and check the prformance of the machine ,refill the ac gas if necessory as per the direction and satisfaction of department officals .

Supply a new boat hook having length of 3 meter of wooden make with aluminium hook of reputed make ,as per the direction and satisfation of department officials.

Remove the existing damaged mica on the different area of the vessel after supplying and installing the damaged new sun mica of reputed make having thickness ofn 1mm in the existing colour both in wheel house and crew room as per the direction and satisfaction of department officials .

Providing locking arrangements to all the cupboards on both the wheel house and crew room of the vessel of brass having size of 50mm ,6 levers of approved quality fix with brass screw ,as per the direction and satisfaction of department officials.

Dismantle the glass door of the air window and replace the brocken glass with the original dimention and superior quality with new rubber beading and mak ethe glass door air tight and operational as per the direction and satisfaction of departmen officials .

Check all the pipelines in the engine room including the water line and fuel line ,replace the damaged pipe line with new B class GI pipe of existing size make the pipelines free from air for the smooth flow of sea water ,bilging etc complete as directed by the Department officers .

replace the rotatory hand pump on the vessel and install with new wooden handle with finished round surface of good quality over the CI handle for the smooth operation ,and provide all necessory connection with good quality GI pipe all as per the direction of department officers.

Replace the damaged wiremesh of the original dimention on the blower air entry space,on the deck as per the direction and satisfaction of department officials.

Remove the plastic sheet /canopy and supporting frames on the aft side of the vessel ,and replace the same with new frame made of 32 mm dia pipe having thickness of 3mm in a shape of ellipse and provide new cnopy made of reinforced fiber glass mat of good quality and 3mm thickness ,as per the direction and satisfaction of department officials .

Dismantling engine (Ashok Lyland ALM 412) heads and other accessories from the engine ,cleaning and decarbonising the cylinder ,piston ,head etc.Cleaning the crank case oil pump,valve and all internal parts,valve seat grinding and suiting ,replacing all damaged parts(The contractore should procure the spare parts required to make the engine functional ,from the authorised dealer and submit the original dealer bill along with the contractor bill for its reimbursment .15% of the cost of spares will be paid to the contractor as overhead charges for arranging supplying the spares .The procured spares as well as the replaced uncerviceble /old parts except consumables like O rings,rubber parts etc should get inspected by the engineer who is he incharge of the work and these uncerviceable /old spares should be returned to the dept for realisation of payment ).Box up the engine ,after supplying the required engine oil,HSD and decarbonisation kit containes gaskets ,O rings etc.and taken 10 Hrs trial run ,all are as per the direction and satisfaction of department officeres.The contractor should provide 9 months guarantee for smooth working of the engine.

Dismanting the main engine fule pump for overhauling calibration, and fitting back in postion after overhauling and calibration as per the direction of departmental officers (Overhauling & Calibration to be done in a reputed diesel service centre with minum 9 months service warranty. Cost of spares will be reibursed against original bill of service centre. The replacing spares as well as the replaced parts except consumable like O rings, rubber parts etc should get inspected b the Engineer who is the in-charge of the work and these unserviceble /old spares should be returned to department for realisation of payment)

Main engine fuel einjectors to be overhauled pressure tested and fittled back as per thed directionof the departmental officers (overhauling & calibration to be done in a reputed diesel service centre with minimum 9 months service warranty. Cost of spares will be reibursed agaisnt original bill of service centree. The replacing spares as well as the replaced parts except consumbale like O rings, rubber parts etc should get inspected by the Engieer who is the in-charge of the work and these unserviceable/old spares should be retutuned to department for realisation of payment)

dismating the fresh water pump of the eingine overhaul the pump, refit after repalcing the pump kit and making he pumping system functional, all as per the direction of the department officers.

Dismanting the sea water pump from the engine and bilge overhaul the pump, refit the pump and making the pumping system fucational, all as per the direction of the department officers

Removing the staring motor of the main engine from postion and the same to be dismantled without causing damanges to any part. Cleaning the parts in lead free petrol adjusting the sparing tension, cleaning and leveling the contacts. Varnishing. Growler testing to be done for armature and field winding, lubricating the bushes insulation testing and assembling, testing for correct speeed, torque and spartk less operation of conductors etc and fitting back in postiion testing for correct and proper engagment of the pinion to the fly wheel teeth etc all as per the directon of the departmental officers

Removing the alternator of the main engine from postion and the same to be dismatled without causing damanges to any part. Cleaning the parts in led free petrol, varnishing etc. to be done for armature and field winding insulation testing and assembling and fitting back in position etc all as per the direction of the departmental officers

Dismanting the auxilary engine alternator of Diesel Generator, renew the brushed and brush holder, varnish the windings and testing taking trials, repalce the damanged foundation bed with original dimension and good quality Bolt and Nut etc all complete as per the direction of the departmental officers

Dismantle eletric motors for the water pumps, blower etc taking the motor to reapiring shopm dismantle the partsm cleaning varnishing the stator and rotor coil windings and replace the damged spares if any (The contractor should procure the spare parts required from the authorised dealer and submit and original dealer bill along with their bill for it reimbusement 15% of the cost of spares willbe paid to the contractor as overhead charges for arranging and supplying the spares. These procures spares as well as the replaced unserviceable/old part sexcept consumable like O rings rubber parts etc should get inspected by the Engineer who is the in-charge of the work and these unserviceable/old spares should b returned to department for realisation of payment) assemble the motor, return back, refitingsand trial run all as per the directions fo the departmental offices.

Dismantlle the valves in the fuel and water line of varrying size. Overhaul the same and box up with new gland and spare if necessary etc (The contractor should procure the spare parts required from thea uthorised dealer and submit the original dealer bill along with their bill for its reimbursement 15% of the cost of spares willbe paid to the contractor as overhead charges for arranging and supplying the spares. These procured spares as well as the replaced unserviceable/old parts except consumable lik O rings rubber part etc should get inspected by the Engineer who is the in-charge of the work and these unserviceable/old spares should be returned to departmetn for realisationof payment) complete as directed by the Department Officers

Diesel main tanks manhole doors to be opened up, tanks to be cleanied with banyan waste. After cleaning manhole doors to be boxed up with new allied packing of 3mm thick. Provide glass tube for gauging the service tank with a steel scale having marking engraved on the scale for every 50 litre all as per the directions of the departmental officers.

Provide new seachest box near side of Keel protiont to avoide the air entry in pitcing/rolling etc for avoding over heating the main engine with new MS plate. Brass Nut, MS Straine etc and existing sea chest strainers to be cleaned and provide and install a 100 mm GI Pipe with 4mm thick from the both the sechest with end connections with new elbow. T socket, flanges and Brass valve of 100 mm dimentionand fitted back after replacing the damanged nuts and bolts and fitters and provide all the connections from the new installed pipe as per the direction of departmenal officers

painting the namd of the vessel (MV NIRDESHAK (HSW) PORT DEPARTMENT, GOVERNMENT OF KERALA) on the vessel on both the Port & Stabord side of Both Forward and Aft side, as per the direction of the Departmental officers

Replace the damanged meters such as RPM, Temp gauges etc both installed in the engine room and wheelhouse as per the direction and satisfaction of department officials (The contractor should procure the spare part required to make fucntional the engine from the authorized dealer and submit the original dealer bill along with the contrctor bill along with the contrctor bill for its reimbursement. 15% of the cost of spares will be paid to the contrctor as overhead charges for aranging and supplying the spares. These procured spares as well as the repalced un serviceable/old parts except sonsumable like O rings, rubber part set etc should get insepcted by the Engineer who is the in-charge of the work and these un serviceable/old spares shoudl be returned to dept for realization of payment if the spares are not available in market produce these items himself or its production should bbe arranged by the contractor. Cost of these items assessed by the Engineer is to be reimbyrsed with overhed of 15% as contrctors profir) rate is only for the labour charges

Painting the name of the vessel (MV SURVEYOR, HYDRO GRAPHIC SURVEY WING, PORT DEPARTMENT, GOVERNEMTN OF KERALA) on the vessel by fabricating the letters in 6 mm MS plate and ISF 60x6 in 300 x 300 mm size ltters as per the directions of the departmental officers
