Removing thicky formed oyster coating and other vegetablesgrowth from the underwater portion of the vessel including cleaning the surface etc.Complete as per the direction and satisfaction of Departmental officeres

Chipping scrapping and cleaning the complete surface of the vessel body ,machineries ,pipelines and other accessories of the vessel body as per the direction of departmental officers

Gauging the thickness of the plates ,beam ,frame ,etc,at diferent portion of the vessel using ultrasonic thickness gauge after chipping ,scrapping and and filling the surface about 50mm dia and pasting greese /oil over it as per the direction of Department officers

Cutting and removing the old damaged ,weakend ,severely damaged various thickness ms plate /ms flat /ms angles /ms rods/beams /griders etc.marked by Department officeres invarious places of the vessel without damaging any other portion/structures/member onthe vessel as per the direction of Department officeres.

supplying and welding with new various thickness maine quality ms plate /ms angles//ms flat/ms rod/beam/gazette of existing size and shape tto the various portions on the vessel already removed damaged portion of the after heating and bending into the shape ,V cut on the matting edge of the plate and welding three layer on both sides togrether .The rate include the the cost of materials ,welding charges ,tools,plants,scaffolding ,other incidental expenses etc.complete as per the direction of Departmental officeres.

Supplying and fitting by welding zinc anode weighing 2.5 kg (Exclude the weight of bracket) with the bracket on the underwater portion of the hull if damaged /distorted the existing anodes complete as per the direction of Department officers

supplied and painting with approved (qualituy of entire quantity of primer supply should be get inspected and approved by engineer,who is incharge of work/Department authority before starting /continuation of the painting work)best quality (marine) yellow high rich zinchromate metal primer 2 coats overall chipped surface after cleaning the surface etc. complete as per the direction of Department officers

Supplying and painting with approved (quality of entire quantity of poly ureathe paint supply should be get inspected and appoved by engineer ,who is inchrge of work/Dept authority before starting /continuation of the painting work) poly eurethene paint white or other approved colour 2 coats over the primer coat already done on vessel body ,machinery ,pipelines with colour code and other accessories etc.as per the direction and satisfaction of Department officers

Supplying and painting with approved (quality of entire quantity of paint supply should be get inspected and approved by engineer ,who is in charge of work /Department Authority before starting /continuation of painting work) best quality Apoxy Coal Tar/Vinyl guard paint (Marine quality) ove the primer applied surface after cleaning the surface as per the direction of Department officers.

For under water area copper slag /sand blasting to resist of corrossion as per the direction of departmental officers.

Supplying and painting of 2 coats to the underwater portion with the anti fouling paint of reputed make (qualty of entire quantity of anti fouling paint supply should be get inspected approved by engineer ,who is in-charge of work /Department authority before starting /continuation of the painting work) over black paint already done etc.complete as per the direction of Department officers

Replace all the damaged mica in the wheel house ,galley ,crew room ,officers room etc,in existing shape and colour as per the direction of department officials

Renew all the damaged door rubber beading in the wheel house with existing size after levelling the door and make them watertight all as directed by Department officers

Check the electrical wiring in the vesel,replace the defected holders ,starters ,bulbs ,tubes,navigational lights,search lights,panel board ,bells,motors,blowers etc,by new arrange all the DC and AC wiring property etc .complete all as directed by department officers (The contractor should procure defected items from authorised dealer and submitted the orignal dealer bill along with the contractor bill for its reimbursement .15% of the cost of spares will be paid to the contractor as over head charges for arranging thoseitems .These procured as well as the replaced items should get inspected by the engineer who is the ion charge of the work and the uncerviceble /old items should be returned to Department for realization of payment.

Dismantle the existing damaged wooden fender from position ,replace the fender to rubber type in existing shape and size and dimention,as per the direction of Department officers

Replace the damaged Tyre fender in the existingf position,shape ,size,and fix the same with proper fastening as per direction of Department officials.

Replace the wind screen on the Wheel house of the vessel to easily openable mode with temporary fastening arrangements,without interrupting operation of the vessel,complete as per the direction and satisfaction of Departmental officials.

Removing the existing table on the wheel house and install a new table made of good quality marine plywood having thickness 16mm and mica of thick 1mm with the help of MS Nails and Gum of superior quality for the use of laying the survey chart and provide racks for three numbers with locking arrangements for keeping the survey chart and othe accessories ,complete as per the directon of Department officials.

Dismantling the main engine head s and other accessories from the engine ,cleaning and de carbonizing the cylider, piston,head etc .Cleaning the crank case oil pump,valave and all internal parts ,valve seat gridding and suiting,replace all the damaged parts ( The contractor should procure the spare parts required to make the engine functional ,from the authorised dealer and submit the original dealer bill along with the contractor bill for its reimbursement .15% of he cost of spares will be paid to the contractor as overrhead charges for arranging and supplying the spares.The procured spares as wellas the replaced un cerviceble /old parts except consumables like O rings,rubber parts ,etc,should get inspected by the Engineer who is the incharge of the work and these uncerviceble /old spares should be returned to dept for realization of payment).Box up the engine,after supplying the required engine oil .HSD and de-carbonation kit contains gaskets ,O ringsetc ,and taken 10hrs trial run ,all area as per the direction and satisfaction of Departmental officers.The contractor should provide 9 months guarantee for the smooth working of the engine.

Dismantling the main engine fuel pump for over hauling ,caliberation,and fitting back in position after overhauling and calibration as per the directon of the Department officers.(Overhauling & caliberation to be done in a reputed diesel service centre with minimum 9 months service warranty.Cost of spares will be reimbursed agianst original bill of the service center.The replacing bill as wellas the replaced parts exceptr consumable like O rings,rubber parts etc.should get inspected by the engineer who is te in charge of the work and these un serviceble /old spares should be returned to dept for realization of payment).

Main engine fuel injectors to be ovrhauled pressure tested and fitted back as per the direction of the Department officers.The rate includes only the labour charge.

Dismantle the heat exchanger,clean and provide flanged connection for the maintenance of the heat exchanger lines of both Port &Starboard side mainengines ,without damaging the other portions ,as per the direction and satisfaction of the Departmntal officals .Replace the damaged spares if any .The contractor should procure the spare parts required to make functional the heat engine from the authorized dealer and submitt the original dealer bill along with the contractor bill for its reimbursement .15% of the cost of spares will be paid to the contractor as overhead chrges for arranging and supplying the spares .These procured spares as well as thereplaced un cerviceble /old prts except consumable like O rings ,rubber parts etc should get inspected by the Engineer who is the in-chrge of the work and these uncerviceable /old spares should be returned to dept for realization of payment if the spares are not avaiable in market produce these items himself or its production should be arranged by the contractor . Cost of these items assessed by the Engineer is to be reimbursed with overhead of 15% as contractor,s profit)

Dismantle the Marine Gearbox ,open it,overhaul ,replace the defective spres if any (the contractor should pocure the spare parts required from the autorised dealer and submit the original dealer and submit the original dealer bill along with their bill for its reimbursement.15% of the cost of spares will be paid to the contractor as overhead charges for arranging and supplying the spares .These procured spres as well as the replaced un serviceble /old partsexcept consumable like O rings ,rubber parts etc.should get inspected by the Engineer who is the in charge of the work and these uncerviceable /old spre parts should be returned to department for realization of payment) assemble the gearbox,assemble with the engine and propellar shaft,add required lubricanting oil ,and taken trial run all as per the direction and satisfaction of Departmental officers.

Dismantling the fresh water pump of the engine ,overhaul the pump ,refit after replacing the pump kit and making the pumping system functional ,all as per the direction of the department officers.

Re route the exhust line of silencer of both the main engines of the vessel by providing additional length to the silencer pipe,with necessry supporting and heat resistant insulation ,as per the direction and satisfaction of the Department officials.

Check the hydraulic rudder System of the vessel for arresting any leakages from the tank to the rudder compartment, check the squantity and quality of the hydraulic oil and replace any parts/oil if damaged and make the system efficient and and operational, (The Contractor should procure sthe spare parts required to make functional the rudder system from the authorised dealer and submit the original dealer bill along with the contgracdtor bill for its reimbursement. 15%of the cost of spares will be paid to the contractor as overhead charges for arranging and supplying the spares. These procured spares as well as the replaced unserviceable/old parts except consumable like O rigs, runner parts etc. should get inspected by the Engineer who is the in-charge of the work and these unserviceable/old spares should be returned to dept for realization of payment if the spares are not avilable in market produce these itesm himself or its production should be arranged by the contractor. Cost of these items asessed by the Engineer is to be reimbursed with overhead of 15% as contractor's profit) as per the director and satisfaction of department officials

Dismatling the sea water pump from the engine and bilge ,replace the same making the pumping system functional ,all as per the direction of the Department officers

Replace the four oil cooler and stripping off all the parts, acid washing to be done for removing scale inside and outside tubes then to be cleaned by using cane with cotton waste. Resetting all the parts in position and leak testing after suppling necessary packing, O-ring, bolt and nuts etc, completed as per the direction of the department officers

Dismanting the anchor winch installed on the vessel, replace the same with position, and make necessary arrangements for he installation of new motor operated model with anchor and exisiting dimension and weight, make a trial run and make the same operational, as per the director and satisfaction of department officials

Supply and provide a new anchor winch cover made of good quality of rexine made to a suitable shape by stitiching and necessary fastenings with good quality thread as per the direction and satsfaction of department officials

Repair the bilge suction line on the vessel and made the bilge pump opeational, as per the direction and satisfaction of department officials (The contractor should procure the defectted items from the authorized dealer and submit the original dealer bill along with the contractor bill for its reimbusement. 15 % of the cost of spares will be paid to the contractor as overhead charges for arranging these items. These procured as well as the replaced items should get inspected by the Engineer who is the in-charge of the work and the un serviceable old items should be returned to department for realization of payment)

supply install a new 5 KVA silent generator on the vessel and make all necessary connection and change over switch, as per the director and satsfcxtion of the deparmtne officials

Removing the propeller with shaft and cutlass bushes from the vessel and dismanting the propeller from the propeller shaft etc and renew thebushes and gland packing, bend checking and straightening the shaft, balancing and pitch correcting the propeller etc, all as per the direction of departmental officers.(The contractor should procure the spare parts required to make funcitonal the shaft from the authorized dealer and submit the original dealer bill along with the contractor bill for its reimbursement. 15% of the cost of spares will be paid to the contrctor as overhead charges for arranging and supplying the spares. These procured spares as well as the replaced un serviable/old parts except consumable like O irigs rubber parts etc should get inspected by the Engineer who is the in-charge of the work and these un serviceable/old spares should be returned the dept for realization of payment if the spares are not available in market produce these items himslef or its production should arranged by the contractor Cost of these items assessed by the Engineer is to be reimbursed with overhead of 15% as constractor's profit)

Removing the propeller with shaft and culass bushed from the vessel and dismanting the propeller from the propeller shaft etc and renew the nushed and gland packing, bend checking and strightening the shaft, balancing and pitch correcting the propeller etc, all as per the direction of departmental officers.(The contractor should procure the spare parts required to make funcitonal the shaft from the authorized dealer and submit the original dealer bill along with the contractor bill for its reimbursement. 15% of the cost of spares will be paid to the contrctor as overhead charges for arranging and supplying the spares. These procured spares as well as the replaced un serviable/old parts except consumable like O irigs rubber parts etc should get inspected by the Engineer who is the in-charge of the work and these un serviceable/old spares should be returned the dept for realization of payment if the spares are not available in market produce these items himslef or its production should arranged by the contractor Cost of these items assessed by the Engineer is to be reimbursed with overhead of 15% as constractor's profit)

All the sea chests, sea chest strainers sea water box and sea chest valve is to be removed, cleaned and fitted back after reaplacing the dammaged nuts nd bolt and fitlers as per the direction of departmental officers (The contractor should procure the spare partas requaired to make functional the valve from the authorized dealer and submit the original dealer bill along with the contractor bill for its reimbursement. 15% of the cost of spares will be paid to the contrctor as overhead charges for arranging and supplying the spares. These procured spares as well as the replaced un serviceable/old parts except consumable like O rings, rubber parts etc should get inspected by the Engineer who is the in-charge of the work and these unserviceable/old spares should returned to dept for realization of payment if the spares are not available in market produced these items himself or its production should arranged by the contractor. Cost of these assessed by the Engineer is to be reimbursed with over head of 15% as contractors profit) this include cost of MS/Brase bold and nut, cost of Brass Net

Check all the pipelines in the engine room of size such as 28mm, including the waterline, fuel and oil line , replace the damaged pipe line if any with new B class GI pipe of existing sixe and good qaulity make the pipelines free from air for the smooth flew of sea water, bilging etc also conduct a pressure test for the pipes complete and directed by the department officers

Check all the pipelines in the engine room of size such as 32 mm, including the waterline, fuel and oil line , replace the damaged pipe line if any with new B class GI pipe of existing sixe and good qaulity make the pipelines free from air for the smooth flew of sea water, bilging etc also conduct a pressure test for the pipes complete and directed by the department officers

Check all the pipelines in the engine room of size such as 40 mm, including the waterline, fuel and oil line , replace the damaged pipe line if any with new B class GI pipe of existing sixe and good qaulity make the pipelines free from air for the smooth flow of sea water, bilging etc also conduct a pressure test for the pipes complete and directed by the department officers

Check all the pipelines in the engine room of size such as 40 mm, including the waterline, fuel and oil line , replace the damaged pipe line if any with new B class GI pipe of existing sixe and good qaulity make the pipelines free from air for the smooth flow of sea water, bilging etc also conduct a pressure test for the pipes complete and directed by the department officers

Check all the pipelines in the engine room of size such as 65/80/100mm, including the waterline, fuel and oil line , replace the damaged pipe line if any with new B class GI pipe of existing sixe and good qaulity make the pipelines free from air for the smooth flow of sea water, bilging etc also conduct a pressure test for the pipes complete and directed by the department officers

Replace the damanged meters such as RPM, Temp gauges etc both installed in the engine room and wheelhouse as per the direction and satisfaction of department officials (The contractor should procure the spare part required to make fucntional the engine from the authorized dealer and submit the original dealer bill along with the contrctor bill along with the contrctor bill for its reimbursement. 15% of the cost of spares will be paid to the contrctor as overhead charges for aranging and supplying the spares. These procured spares as well as the repalced un serviceable/old parts except sonsumable like O rings, rubber part set etc should get insepcted by the Engineer who is the in-charge of the work and these un serviceable/old spares shoudl be returned to dept for realization of payment if the spares are not available in market produce these items himself or its production should bbe arranged by the contractor. Cost of these items assessed by the Engineer is to be reimbyrsed with overhed of 15% as contrctors profir) rate is only for the labour charges

Painting the name of the vessel (MV SURVEYOR, HYDRO GRAPHIC SURVEY WING, PORT DEPARTMENT, GOVERNEMTN OF KERALA) on the vessel by fabricating the letters in 6 mm MS plate and ISF 60x6 in 300 x 300 mm size ltters as per the directions of the departmental officers

Supply and install a new canopy on the forward bow of the vesel with 30 mm x 10 mm x 2 thick GI square pipe with plastic roofing sheet of thick 2 mm of Good quaifyt with ISI Mark and fix with fastening arragments from the protection of sunlight, wild load, rain etc complete as per the direction and satisfction of department officials
