OD487106/2024-2025:Design, fabrication, supply, installation and commissioning of Dual Media Pressure Filter having shell thickness 8mm and dish 10mm with epoxy coating outside and GRP lining inside with suitable diameter and height, with manhole and cover for easy inspection at top and an opening provision for media removing arrangement at bottom side with dummy arrangement, capable of discharging water at 3.5 litres per second with a capacity to withstand the operating head which is necessary to deliver water to the pumping main with best quality suitable size Butterfly/Multiport valve for easy backwashing, rinsing and filtering. The Scope of Works includes all related mechanical and pumping works and interconnection of the system at inlet and outlet with the pumping main, bypass arrangement, providing backwash facility, etc. The unit should withstand an internal pressure of 10kg/cm2. All the metallic parts shall be painted with approved quality anti-corrosive paint. The unit should be so installed at suitable point that the operation and maintenance is easy. Piping 100mm MS, 100mm pneumatically activated butterfly valves and SS liquid-filled pressure gauge. Filter media is of grades quartz sand (8-16 & 16-30 mesh), Anthracite with 2 years warranty period (with average 8 hour pumping hours per day), including providing pneumatically controlled butterfly valves with activator, Air Compressor and PLC Panel for dual media Pressure Filter unit for operating system. The system should be compatible with site conditions and other units including motor pump sets. The whole installed system shall be under guarantee for 2 years from the date of commissioning. The Scope of Works also includes suitable weather protection arrangements with MS fabrication and Trafford sheets. The Technical Details including drawings and Specifications of the filter unit and accessories, O & M manual with guidelines for troubleshooting shall be submitted in two sets and trial run should be conducted as per the direction of Departmental Officers.
