RENOVATION WORK OF MAVOOR ROAD ELECTRIC CREMATORIUM

1. The existing Down Draft method Electric chamber furnace of Mavoor Road Electric Crematorium is to be demolished and new chamber of standard size (L-2100-mm, b-915 mm, h-1200 mm including arch) upper draft method is to be constructed with elevated RCC framed structure as per the direction of Dept. Civil Engineers. 2. All the 18 No’s heating element, 12 No’s of 54000 W in primary chamber and 6 No’s of 21000 wells in secondary chamber should be installed with NEW KANTHAL-A1 heating elements 3 The existing underground on line water scrubber is to be demolished and new Double stage ventury wet scrubber and secondary packed scrubbing system is to be provided to suit to the existing site conditions. 4. Demolish the existing forced Drive blower system and New induced draft blower system with new three phase 5 HP motor and stainless steel impeller with SS case should be installed with sufficient guarantee. 5. The existing underground type flue Duct is to be demolished and New overhead type flue duct system with stainless steel pipe duct is to be provided to suit to the existing site conditions. 6. The existing spring and scissor type human body charging Trolley is to be dismantled and New Hydraulic type trolley is to be installed with proper heat resisting, covering on the hydraulic components. 7. The existing body resting cast Iron bricks and refractory bricks in the chamber should be used of company make and should be fixed with high temperature bonding cement. 8. The broken bottom portion of the chimney should be refabricated and the chimney should be painted with heat resisting high temperature Aluminium paint and the cowl of the chimney should be replaced with stainless steel make. 9. The rolling shutter of the chamber with motor and mechanism should be replaced by new and painted with heat resisting high temperature Aluminium paint and the motor end limit switches are to be renewed and covered. 10. The existing electrical panel and all the equipments including cables should be renew with new equipments, panel and cables. 11. The contactor and thermostat in the existing electric control panel should be replaced by new contactors and thermostat. 12. The entire work should be completed and commissioned within 120 days from the date of recipt of work order. 13. Three year warranty should be agreed for the entire work and operation of the plant during warranty period should also be carried out along this contract and yearwise operation charge should be quoted with GST and annual operation charge should be quoted with EOI. 14. Seven year operation and maintenances of the plant from the expiry of warranty period,should also be carried out should be quoted including GST and AMC with operation charge for the period
