4.9:Wet Mix Macadam <br> Providing, laying, spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate to wet mix macadam specification including premixing the material with water at OMC in mechanical mixer (Pug Mill), carriage of mixed material by tipper to site, laying in uniform layers in sub-base/base course on a well prepared sub-base and compacting with smooth wheel roller of 80 to 100kN weight to achieve the desired density including lighting, barricading and maintenance of diversion, etc as per Tables 400.11 & 400.12 and Technical Specification Clause 406. <br> By Mechanical Means with 1 km lead

APPENDIX B: CONSTRUCTION OF CULVERT

OD1727/2023-2024:Putting up earthen bund having a top width of 0.75 m, bottom width of 1.25 m and height 1.50m using 1/3 split coconut post driving down 75 cm centre to centre and 0.75 m below GL tying with coir yarn and 1/3 split coconut horizontal piece 2 rows on both sides, cross ties 1.00m apart and struts on both sides at 3.00m apart on both sides and screening with 1/3 split Areca nut reapers 30 cm square mesh and with double new coconut cadjan and all tying properly with coir and GI fencing wire and filling inside with stiff clay of approved quality as water proof layer etc. complete as per direction of departmental officials at site, and dismantling of the bund as per the instruction of Departmental Officials.
