od121960/2018_2019 : Providing and fixing of Galvanized steel fire rated doors of 120min Fire Rating of approved make with frame tested by CBRI/ International Test House in accordance with BS 476 part 22. Galvanized steel to be used conforming to IS 277 (2003). Door shall be of min. 46mm thick manufactured from two nos min. 1.0 mm galvanized steel sheets, lock seam jointed at stile edges to form a double skin fully flush shell. Infill of suitable insulation to the core to be provided for structure rigidity and sound insulation. Additional reinforcement for all hardware fixtures to be provided. The door frames are manufactured from minimum 1.5mm thick galvanised steel sheet pressed form to double rebate profile 154x77mm or nearest available as approved and shall be finished with powder coating. Door frames may be supplied in knock down form for butt joints assembly at site. Vision panels of sizes according to National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), Uniform Building Code (UBC) and the International Building Code (IBC) using 6mm thick fire rated clear toughened glass of approved make wherever required are to be fixed with beading on frames with SS screws and fasteners. Door frame and shutters to be primed in the stoving grade epoxy zinc phosphate primer and finished in Aliphatic grade UV resistant polyurethane paint.Door frames and shutters to have all hardware preparation pre-punched at the factory for flush fixing of hard ware at site.
