NOTE: 1.Unit rate needs to be quoted by the contractor for each item in words and figures. 2.Where there is a discrepancy between the rate in figures and words, the rates in words will govern. 3.Whether there is a discrepancy between the unit rate and the line item total resulting from multiplying the unit rate by quantity, the unit rate quoted shall govern. 4.The Bill of Quantities shall be read in conjunction with the Instructions to Bidders, Conditions of Contract, Technical Specifications and Drawings & Illumination Design. 5.The quantities given in the Bill of Quantities are estimated and provisional, and are given to provide a common basis for bidding. 6. The basis of payment will be the actual quantities of work ordered and carried out, as measured by the Contractor and verified by the Engineer and valued at the rates and prices tendered in the priced Bill of Quantities, where applicable, and otherwise at such rates and prices as the Engineer may fix within the terms of the Contract. 7. The rates and prices tendered in the priced Bill of Quantities shall, except in so far as it is otherwise provided under the Contract, include all constructional plant, labour, supervision, materials, erection, maintenance, insurance, profit, taxes and duties, together with all general risks, liabilities and obligations set out or implied in the Contract. 8. The rates and prices shall be quoted entirely in Indian Currency. 9. A rate or price shall be entered against each item in the Bill of Quantities, whether quantities are stated or not. The cost of Items against which the Contractor has failed to enter a rate or price shall be deemed to be covered by other rates and prices entered in the Bill of Quantities. 10. The whole cost of complying with the provisions of the Contract shall be included in the items provided in the priced Bill of Quantities, and where no Items are pro vided the cost shall be deemed to be distributed among the rates and prices entered for the related Items of Work. 11. General directions and descriptions of work and materials are not necessarily repeated or summarized in the Bill of Quantities. References to the relevant sections of the contract documentation shall be made before entering rates or prices against each item in the Bill of Quantities.

Design, Supply, Installation, Testing & Commissioning of high mast (High Mast should be manufactured as per ILE- TR-7 and IS 875 of single hot dip galvanized sections and stress fit type with base plate with min. thickness of galvanization 70 microns and not more than 5 section for the complete Heavy Duty High mast including head frame having minimum height of 40m @ centre of head frame for mounting minimum required Nos metal halide luminaries for international HD transmission. Head Frame shall be 15 degree tilted. The complete system shall be supplied with necessary accessories like foundation bolts, anchor plate etc. The quoted rate shall be inclusive of suitable open raft type shallow foundation with M-25 cement concrete and steel reinforcement for 40 Mtr. The rate includes excavation, filling with M-25 cement concrete including disposal of waste material complete with finishing.The mast and the outdoor panels shall be enclosed with a chainlink mesh as per the direction of engineer in charge. Design, Supply, Installation, Testing and commissioning of comprehensive arrangement of motorised climbing mechanism I,e Man-rider for access to the headframe for repair/ mantainence purpose with all necessary safety arrangements like free fall arrestor, overload protection etc. The load carrying capacity of the mechanism shall be minimum 300 Kg.
