The required prior work experience for the bidder includes experience in similar works, with specific requirements varying depending on the type of work. For construction of civil structures, the bidder must have experience of having successfully completed a single work worth minimum 40% of the tendered PAC. For construction of Water Treatment Plant up to 5 MLD output capacity, the bidder must have constructed a Water Treatment Plant in the past with any technology for a minimum of 1 MLD output capacity. For construction of Water Treatment Plant above 5 MLD output capacity, the bidder must have constructed a Water Treatment Plant in the past with any technology for a minimum of 40% output capacity subject to a maximum of 40 MLD. The values and percentages of similar works completed mentioned are: - 40% of the tendered PAC - 1 MLD output capacity - 40% output capacity subject to a maximum of 40 MLD - 10% output capacity of the proposed treatment plant - 25% output capacity - 0.5 MLD capacity - 20% of the estimated cost of work for the minimum average annual turnover - 10% of the estimated cost for the credit rating from a scheduled bank. The bidder should have completed similar works in the past, with a value of at least 20% of the estimated cost of the current work. The bidder should also have a minimum average annual turnover of more than 20% of the estimated cost of work. The amount of similar works completed is Rs. 1,20,00,000 (20% of Rs. 600,00,000) for the minimum average annual turnover. The bid capacity assessment is for works costing Rs. 150 lakhs and up to Rs. 300 lakhs. The bidder needs to provide documentary proof of experiences, including a list of major projects carried out by them, and a solvency certificate for a minimum amount of 20% of the estimated PAC, subject to a maximum value of Rs. 5.00 crores, unless the tenderer is a public limited company. The minimum solvency required is Rs. 149.47 lakhs.
