part -II - WORKING CHARGES

Excavating trenches of required width for pipes, cables, etc including excavation for sockets, and dressing of sides, ramming of bottoms, depth up to 1.5 m, including getting out the excavated soil, and then returning the soil as required, in layers not exceeding 20 cm in depth, including consolidating each deposited layer by ramming, watering, etc. and disposing of surplus excavated soil as directed, within a lead of 50 m : All kinds of soil (Ref. Item No. 2.10.1 of DSR)

Demolishing cement concrete manually / by mechanical means including disposal of material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer - in-Charge.Nominal concrete 1:3:6 or richer mix (i/c equivalent design mix)

Fencing one side of trenches, 1.50 m height with two rows of 10 cm plastic caution tape in vertical casuarina pole (girth 15cm to 24cm) fixed at 2 m intervals. (Data Prepared based on PWD SDB - Item No.1009)

Laying UPVC pipes of class 2 to class 6 and specials, lowering to the trenches already made, placing in position aligning the pipe line to the lines and levels and jointing the pipes and specials with solvent cement and testing the pipe line with water to the required test pressure (excluding cost of pipes and specials). 110 mm nominal outer dia pipes.

Conveying and providing 100 mm GI pipe with specials in line and level but excluding the cost of trenching

Providing and fixing G.I. pipes complete with G.I fittings including trenching and refilling etc. External work50 mm dia nominal bore

Providing flanged joints to double flanged C.I./ D.I pipes and specials, including testing of joints:100 mm diameter pipe

Welding MS sheet, pipe and special by gas or electric plant for three run welding including cost of welding rod / gas, all labour and hire charges of tools etc complete.

Providing and fixing G.I. Union in G.I pipe including cutting and threading the pipe and making long screws etc. complete ( New work):br80 mm /100 m.m nominal bore

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level:1:2:4 (cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size)

Centering and shuttering including strutting, propping etc. and removal of form work for:Foundations, footings, bases for columns

Shifting the existing water connection to newly laid 50/65 pipe line using suitable MS saddle/welding the 20 m.m GI coupling with GI pipe and drilling hole and cost of nipple,bend ,coupling ,trenching for laying astm pipe and interconnection with existing service pipe and cost of ASTM pipe from the pipe line to the premises of the consumer and all incidental works as per the direction of departmental officers.

Interconnecting the newly laid 100/65/50 mm GI pipe line with existing /125/65/50 GI pipe line /providing tee connection with existing/newly laid 100/80 /65 m.m GI pipe line using Tee/fixing 65/50 m.m GM valve/demolishing the RCC tank side wall and connecting the 100 mm GI pipe for out let using suitable specials but excluding the cost of welding as per the direction of departmental officers

Supplying and installing 25 HP submersible pump set at Booster no-2

Supplying of new Submersible pump with stainless steel impeller and new 25 HP submersible motor suitable for the above pump with suitable speed rpm as per IE/KSEI specifications with non reversing arrangements which designed for 520 lpm against a head of 130 metre reputed make and 1 nos Automatic starter and 1 Nos change over switch for working one pump set at a time and suitable heavy duty N/R valve with D/F valve PN No-1.6 and supplying ,Pressure meter and floor mounting type MS fabricated cubical panel board with following accessories such as capasity switches, interlocking arrangements,copper bus bar distribution, cubical type TPN switches, fuse unit(Havel00ls/Seimens/L&T) Volt meter with selector switchws, phase indicator lamp and other required components and fittings confirming to IE rules and IS specifications suitable for the above motors. brThe pannel board shall have facilities and capacity for operating 2 Nos. of motors of 1 20 to 25 HP capacity. Supplying suitable gauge PVC insulated single core copper cable suitable size and cable termination materials such as cable socket, cable box for working 25 HP motor as per IE/KSEI/KSEB specifications including capable for bearing starting load for connecting meter board to panel board and pannel board to starter and starter to motor brand supplying column pipe and delivery pipe line for connecting existing delivery line required length and size as per site conditions and earthing materials, good quality power capacitor of reputed make with ISI mark for the motors to maintain a power factor more than 0.9 which suitable for 15 HP motorbrErection of pump set, motor with column pipe and all other items supplied, including all labour charges for the erection of pumpset, fixing the motor providing cable conncetions from meter board to panel board, panel board to starters, starter to motor, earthing all electrical equipment as per IE rules and regulations and electrical inspectorate specifications; fixing power capacitor and fabricating y type delivery pipe line and connecting to two numbers pump delivery pipe line if it is necessary including all welding charges etc. and dismantling , for the satisfactory commissioning of the pump set, including including all civil works such as providing foundation with foundation bolt in CC 1 : 1/2 : 3 using 20mm metal, plastering etc. including cost of cement & steel etc cleaning and resetting 1 nos existing sluice valve and all civil works such as dismantling the existing unused pump set if it is required and making good the dismantled and all incidental works satisfactorily completion of works etc. complete and taking trial run.

Innterconnecting 125 mm GI Avolikkuzhy gravity with 150 GI pumping main near Thekkumala Tank

Earth work excavation for exposing the existing 150 mm GI pumping main and 125 mm and 150 mm gravity main , demolishing the cement concrete road and fabrication works for interconnecting he 150 mm GI pumping main with 125 mm and 150 mm gravity main with 125 mm GI pipe by cutting welding ,fabricating bend portions , fixing 125 mm CI D/F valve ,flanges joints and all incidental works etc complete as per the direction of departmental officers.

Fabricating MS flanges of diameter 125 mm using 12 mm thick MS plate including cost and conveyance charges of MS plate, all fabrication charges, charges of painting the steel work with two or more coat deluxe multi surface paint to give an even shade over an under coat of primer etc. complete: For pipes fabricated with 8mm thick MS plates.

Fabricating MS flanges of diameter 150 mm using 12 mm thick MS plate including cost and conveyance charges of MS plate, all fabrication charges, charges of painting the steel work with two or more coat deluxe multi surface paint to give an even shade over an under coat of primer etc. complete: For pipes fabricated with 8mm thick MS plates.

Note: An amount of Rs:26,450/- is included in the KSEB Power allocation charges for increasing connected load & PWD road restoration charges. GST @ 12 % of bill amount will be paid additionally
