3.5.3 Excavation in soil using Hydraulic Excavator and Tippers with disposal upto 1000m - Excavation for roadwork in soil with hydraulic excavator of 0.9 cum bucket capacity including cutting and loading in tippers, trimming bottom and side slopes, in accordance with requirements of lines, grades and cross sections and transporting to the embankment location with a lift upto 1.5m and lead upto 1000m as per technical specification Clause 302.3.

3.3 Construction of embankment with material obtained from Roadway cutting - Construction of embankment with approved material deposited at site from roadway cutting and excavation from drain and foundation of other structures graded and compacted to meet requirement of Table 300.1 and 300.2 as per technical specification Clause 301.5.

APPENDIX C : BITUMINOUS LAYERS

OD 5.5.A.pb Modified penetration macadam - 50 mm thick using Packed Bitumen S-65 -Construction of penetration macadam over prepared base by providing a layer of compacted crushed course aggregate using chips spreader with alternate applications of bituminous binder and key aggregates a rolling with a three wheel 80 - 100 kN static roller to achieve the desired degree of compaction as per technical specification clause 506

OD 5.2.1pb Tack Coat - Providing and applying tack coat with bitumen emulsion (Packed RS-1) using emulsion distributor at a rate of 0.20 - 0.25 kg/sqm on the prepared bituminous surface cleaned with Hydraulic broom as per technical specification clause 503

75.5.11.1.A Mix Seal Surfacing - Mechanical Means - Type A - Providing, laying and rolling of close-graded premix carpet of 20mm thickness composed of 11.2mm to 0.9mm (Type-A) aggregates either using penetration grade bitumen to required line, grade and level to serve as wearing course on a previously prepared base, including mixing in a suitable plant, laying and rolling with a three wheel 80-100kn roller, finished to required level and grades as per technical specification clause 509- Using Bitumen Bulk-65 by Manual Means

6.4 Construction of un-reinforced plain cement concrete pavement, thickness as per design,over a prepared sub base, with 43 grade cement or any other type as per clause 1501.2.2 M30(grade), coarde and fine aggregates conforming to IS 383, maximum size of coarse aggregate not exceeding 25 mm, mixed in a concrete mixer of not less than 0.2 cum capacity and appropriate weigh batcher using approved mix design, laid in approved fixed side formwork(steel channel, laying and fixing of 125 micron thick polythene film, wedges,steel plates including levelling the formwork as per drawing),spreading the concrete with showels,rakes,compacted using needle,screed, and plate vibrators and finished in continuous operation including provision of admixtures as approved,curing of concrete slabs for 14 days,using curing compound(where specified) and water finishing to lines and grade as per drawing and Technical Specifications clause 1501. Short panelled of size 0.75m x 0.75m (Modified item 6.4). Extra labour and machinery added for close joint cutting

APPENDIX D : PROTECTION WORKS

Mod 10.11 Guard Stones- Reinforced cement concrete M15 grade guard stones of size 20x20x120cm size embedded in PCC 1:4:8 block of 45x45x45cm sice with 30cm embedding of stones including painting etc. complete.
