The required prior work experience for the bidder is as follows: - Minimum five years experience in Road Works for a Degree Holder in Civil Engineering. - Minimum three years experience in Road Works for a Diploma Holder in Civil Engineering. - Minimum five years experience in Road Works for a Degree Holder in Civil Engineering for routine maintenance. - Minimum one years experience in Road Works for a Diploma Holder in Civil Engineering for routine maintenance. The bidder should have experience in works of a similar nature and size for each of the last five years. The bidder should have completed works of a similar nature and volume over the last five years. The bidder is required to have satisfactorily completed work certificate in the last five years from concerned Agreement Authority, as prime Contractor, at least one similar work equal in value to one-third (one-fourth in case of Naxal / LWE affected districts) of the estimated cost of work (excluding maintenance cost for five years). No specific percentage of similar works completed is mentioned, but the bidder should provide the value of similar works completed. The bidder should provide information on the total monetary value of civil construction works performed for each of the last five years. The bidder should also provide information on their existing commitments and on-going construction works, including the value of works remaining to be completed. In terms of specific values and percentages, the bidder is required to provide the following information: - Gross amount of the work completed - Amount of work paid on reduced rate basis, if any - Amount of compensation levied for delay, if any - Total amount of claim, if the contractor went for arbitration - Total amount awarded, if the contractor went for arbitration The bidder should also provide a performance report for works under execution, including estimated cost, tender cost, gross amount of final bill, stipulated date of start and completion, actual date of completion or percentage progress, and amount of compensation levied for delay, if any. The percentage to apply to the value of the work not completed representing the Employer’s additional cost for completing the Works shall be 200% of uncompleted Work. The bidder should have access to line(s) of credit and availability of other financial resources/ facilities (10 percent of the contract value).
