Water proofing work

Providing and laying water proofing treatment on roofs of slabs by applying cement slurry mixed with water proofing cement compound consisting of applying (a) after surface preparation first layer of slurry of cement @ 0.488 kg/sqm mixed with water proofing cement compound @ 0.253 kg/sqm (b) laying second layer of fibre glass cloth when the first layer is still green. Overlaps of joints of fibre cloth should not be less than 10 cm (c) third layer of 1.5mm thickness consisting of slurry of cement @ 1.289 kg/sqm mixed with water proofing cement compound @ 0.670 kg/sqm and course sand @ 1.289kg/sqm this will be alloweod to air cure for 4 hours followed by water curing for 48 hours. The entire treatment will be taken up to 30 cm on perapet wall and thicked into groove in parapet all around.

15 mm cement plaster on rough side of single or half brick wall finished with a floating coat of neat cement of mix: 1: 4 ( 1 cement : 4 fine sand)

Providing and fixing double scaffolding system (cup lock type) on the exterior side, upto seven story hight made with 40 mm dia. M.S. tube 1.5 m centre to centre, horizontal & vertical tubes joining with cup & lock system with M.S. tubes, M.S. tube challies, M.S. clamps and M.S. staricase system in the scaffolding for working platform etc. and maintaining it in a serviceable condition for the required duration as approved and removing it there after. The scaffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings, runners, connection with the building etc wherever required for inspection of work at required location with essential safety features for the workmen etc. complete as per directions and approval of Engineer- in Charge. The elevational area of the scaffolding shall be measured for payment purpose. The payment will be made once irrespective of duration of scaffolding. Note:- This item to be used for maintenance work judicially, necessary deduction for scaffolding in the existing item to be done .

Filling the gap in between sheet joints by providing weather silicon sealant of approved quality after claning the sutface thoroughly. Upto 5 mm depth and 5mm width .

Supply and fixing Self Drilling screws of 55 mm size with washers on the roof sheet at all height after removing the existing screws as per direction of Engineer in charge

Providing and fixing tar sheet at minimum width of 15 cm above the entire length of joint of roofing sheet at all height, after filling with the silicon, (cost for silicon sealent shall paid seperately) etc as per the derection from Engineer in charge.
