Design, fabrication, supply, installation and commissioning of barrel filter with minimum 2200mm diameter to remove turbidity and Iron for Kasim Haji BG Mangalam Grama Panchayath with suitable technology option using stainless steel 304 grade Vessel (minimum thickness should not be less than 4 mm) with man hole and cover for easy inspection at top and an opening provision for media removing arrangement at bottom side with dummy arrangement , with capable of discharging water at 21000 lph (Designed daily supply 250m3 only) with a capacity to withstand the existing operating head, with best quality ISI mark Butterfly valves for easy back washing, rinsing and filtering with all necessary filter media with sufficient filtering capacity and capable of removing turbidity and Iron content to the permissible limit as per the CPHEEO norms including all civil, mechanical and plumbing works by connecting to the existing pumping main with suitable size of stainless steel pipe with flanged ends and specials required to deliver water to the existing reservoir using existing pump. All the exposed pipes shall be of stainless steel pipe with flanged ends. The wash water generated during back washing may be suitably disposed off using GI/PVC pipes to near by drains. The vessel may be suitably positioned anywhere along the pumping main route in order to make the operation and maintenance easy. The life period of the media supplied should be of minimum 3 years and the total head loss due to the filter supplied should not be more than 4.00 meters. The filter should be designed with a capacity to with stand 1.5 times of the above given parameters of discharge, head, turbidity and Iron content etc. The Water Treatment Plants installed on a suitable foundation and should be protected from whethering with the aid of a structured roof supported with four number of post made of GI pipes of size not less than 50mm in diameter firmly fixed in cement concrete at bottom(If necessary). The top covering include Zinc aluminium coloured corrugated sheets with minimum thickness of 0.63mm and with a height of 2.10m with overlaps of 300mm at ends clamped with GI hooks/crank bolts and nuts including plain washers, bitumen washers etc. complete over the 50mm x 25mm MS rectangle coated with best quality anticorrossive primer and epoxy paint, fixed suitably with appropriate fixers with in three rows spaced suitably for the total structure stability. The side cladding work with 4mm square mesh all-round the supports with front opening provision as per the instruction of the officer in charge. The quote must include the cost of materials and labour.

Fabricating, supplying and installing cylindrical shape, stainless steel barrel of diameter 900 mm and height 1250mm made of 304 grade stainless steel at proposed sites. Bottom & top of the barrel should be in spherical shape & top of the barrel is to be with detachable water tight flanged joint. Suitable supporting stand in stainless steel is to be provided. At the top and bottom of the barrel, inlet and outlet are to be fixed with 75mm stainless steel pipe with flanged ends. Two number of 20 mm stainless steel pipe nipple are to be fixed at the top and bottom of the barrels for fixing pressure gauge, and other appurtenances. 4 numbers of stainless steel perforated plates (with 6mm, 4 mm, 2mm and 1mm perforation/ longitudinal slots from bottom to top, with required spacing) of 2mm thickness having same inside diameter (with required horizontal stiffeners) should be provided inside the barrel to hold filter media. The barrels are to be provided with suitable locking and holdings arrangements for the horizontal plates. To hold the perforated plates horizontally inside the barrel, four number of 10mm vertical stainless steel rods are to be suitably fixed inside at the bottom of the vessel and 12 mm dia ss pipe having a length of 10cm/5cm bits inserted in the entire length of all the four rods. Stainless steel pipe 12 mm dia with 4mm perforations @ 5cm c/c on both sides shall be placed below the bottom most plate to support the plate and for blowing air from outside as per the drawings attached including cost of all fitting and fixing charges etc complete. The unit is to be tested for water pressure of 3kg/cm2. The unit shall be fitted with required length of 50mm stainless steel pipe 5 nos of 50mm stainless flanged ss ball valves, One non return valve as per drawing etc complete.
