The bidder is required to have experience of works of similar nature and type as the work tendered. They should have completed similar works with a value that will be considered in full, whether or not the date of commencement is within the last 5-year period. The bidder shall have successfully completed at least one similar work costing more than 40% of the estimated cost of the work described during the last five years. The value of completed works of previous years shall be given a weightage of 5% per year to bring them to the current price level. The bidder should possess adequate working capital of more than 10% of the probable estimated cost of the work. In terms of specific values and percentages, the bidder should have: - Completed similar works with a value that will be considered in full - Annual financial turnover during the last 5 years, with a weightage of 5% per year - Working capital of more than 10% of the probable estimated cost of the work - At least one similar work costing more than 40% of the estimated cost of the work described during the last five years. The bidder must have experience of having successfully completed at least one similar work costing more than 40% of the estimated cost of the work put to tender, for Government/Semi-Government clients during the last 5 years.
