Providing and laying in-situ vibrated reinforced cement concrete of grade M-30, for footings etc., using 20 mm and down size, approved, clean, hard, graded aggregates with 28days cube compressive strength not less than 30N/sq mm, including cost of all materials, machinery, labour, mix design, centering, shuttering, mixing and placing in position, bailing out water, finishing, curing, etc., complete, as per drawings, specifications and as directed by the Engineer in charge, at all levels.

Providing, fabricating and placing in position steel reinforcement for RCC works (Fe 500 grade) bent cold, tied and placed in position including cleaning, straightening, cutting, bending, hooking, lapping, binding with 1.25mm diameter annealed steel wire, including cost of all materials, machinery, labour etc., complete as per drawings, specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge at all levels.(rates are include "J" bolt of specified diameter and size using grade 8.8 specified diameter and standard lengths .anchor bolt size:M20,450mm long-8 no’s per colomn)

COLUMN: Supplying, fabricating, erecting, fixing and aligning in position vertical column (built-up sections) including base plate, top plate, stiffener plates etc., as per drawings, cost and conveyance of all materials, labour, hire charges, lead, lift, sand blasting, painting, etc., complete at all levels as per drawings/specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Painting of all the structural members shall be done as specified in the technical specifications and the rate for the same shall be included in this item rate for column. (The weight of fasteners/bolts excluding (foundation bolts) etc. shall be deemed to be included in the weight of columns and shall not be considered for separate payment)

RAFTERS: Supplying, fabricating, erecting, fixing and aligning in position rafters (built-up sections) including stiffener plates, end plates etc., as per drawings, M-16 hot-dipped galvanized bolts for connecting rafters with columns of size as per drawings, cost and conveyance of all materials, labour, hire charges, lead, lift, sand blasting, painting, etc., complete at all levels as per drawings/specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Painting of all the structural members shall be done as specified in the technical specifications and the rate for the same shall be included in this item rate for rafters. (The weight of fasteners/bolts etc. shall be deemed to be included in the weight of rafters and shall not be considered for separate payment)

PURLINS: Supplying, fabricating, erecting, fixing and aligning in position cold formed Z purlin, 2.55thk 220x60x20 Z Purlin or as per designs, including sag rods, nuts and bolts etc., as per drawings, cost and conveyance of all materials, labour, hire charges, lead, lift, painting, etc., complete at all levels as per drawings/specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Painting of all the structural members shall be done as specified in the technical specifications including providing and applying a premium quality priming coat using protectomastic self-priming high build coating (modified epoxy with special catalyst suitably pigmented) the rate for the same shall be included in this item rate for purlin. (The weight of fasteners/bolts etc shall be deemed to be included in the weight of purlins and shall not be considered for separate payment)

Roofing Sheets: Supply of colour coated (at factory or on-site roll-formed profile sheet) concealed system profile sheeting with approved nominal width, minimum 41 mm crest depth at pitch of nominal centre to centre distance along with stiffeners perpendicular to ribs for strength. The feed material shall be of minimum 0.45 mm BMT (0.50mm TCT) color coated/pre-painted steel High tensile with minimum 550 MPa yield strength, metallic hot-dipped coated with Al-Zn alloy as per AS1397 / IS15961 – ZINCALUME or GALVALUME AZ150 (min. 150 g/m2 total on both sides) with Super Durable Polyester color coated/pre-painted steel exterior quality paint system of approved color, suitable for exterior application conforming to AS/NZS 2728 type-4 / IS15965 class 3. The sheet shall have a minimum coating thickness of 35 microns, super durable polyester color coated/pre-painted steel quality paint system of minimum 20 microns on exposed surface and 5-micron reverse polyester coat on back surface over 5-micron primer coat on both surfaces. The paint system should have stable resin & inorganic pigments for paint durability and lead free for water harvesting. The sheet shall have brand marking of coated sheet manufacturer (product details, date, manufacturer’s name, etc.) on back side at regular interval confirming genuineness of the material. The profile sheet shall be rolled over specially designed concealed fixing clip sheet. The clip sheet shall be fastened with min. 40 μm Zinc coated / min. 25 μm Zinc-Tin alloy coated, Hex. head, self-drilling screw as per AS 3566-2002 Class 3 fasteners of approved make. The rate shall include cost and conveyance of all materials such as roofing sheets, fasteners, clips, flashing, capping, eave trim etc., of appropriate thickness, profile and finish wherever required as per approved drawings and as directed, including fixing charges, scaffolding etc. at all levels but excluding the gutter and down water pipes. The measurement shall be made in square meters of the finished area of the roof. All the accessories like flashing/ capping etc., shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate for roofing and shall be made from the same material which is used for main cladding application.

GUTTER SYSTEM: Supplying, fixing and aligning in position gutter as per drawings/specifications approved, using GI /Aluminium sheet of minimum 1.67mm thickness. Joints shall be properly welded and coated with anticorrosive painting as per specifications and as directed. The gutter shall be finished with approved paint with number of coats as specified as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. The rate shall include cost and conveyance of all materials, fasteners, supports etc., wherever required as per approved drawings and as directed, including fixing charges, scaffolding, finishing, painting, etc., at all levels. The measurement shall be made in running meters of the gutter installed.

Down spout for gutter system: Supplying, fixing and aligning in position down spouts of heavy-duty PVC pipe with 4” diameter and minimum gauge 4.0 kg/cm2 of approved make and specifications as directed by the Engineer. The rate shall include cost and conveyance of all materials, fasteners, supports, specials such as bends, elbows, couplers, clamps, etc., wherever required as per approved drawings and as directed, including fixing charges, scaffolding, painting, etc. at all levels. The measurement shall be made in running meters.

Supplying, laying and aligning in position CPVC pipe 6” diameter of approved make and specifications as directed by the Engineer in Charge, inside kerbs. The rate shall include cost and conveyance of all materials, fasteners, supports, specials such as bends, elbows, couplers, clamps, flushing outlets, cap covers etc., wherever required as per approved drawings and as directed, including laying charges, backfilling of soil etc. at all levels. The measurement shall be made in running meters.

Supplying, laying and aligning in position CPVC pipe 6” diameter of approved make and specifications as directed by the Engineer in charge, buried under the pavement. The rate shall include cost and conveyance of all materials, fasteners, supports, specials such as bends, elbows, couplers, laying charges cutting of bituminous/concrete pavements, providing necessary concrete cushion, laying of cement/pressed tiles with proper cushioning, wherever required as per approved drawings and as directed. The measurement shall be made in running meters.

WALKWAY: Supplying, fixing and aligning in position the FRP Walkway as per drawings/specifications approved. Material: FRP Grating with isophthalic resin UV Colour: Yellow colour RAL 1003 Mesh size: 40 x 40 x 3 mm rib with depth minimum 25mm. Width: maximum 800mm or as specified The FRP walkway shall be fixed using anodized aluminium clamps/fasteners which shall of the same specifications as that of the clamps/fasteners used for fixing the purlins with the sheets as provided under Item Number 3 of Part B-1 in the Schedule of Quantities. The rate shall include cost and conveyance of all materials, fasteners, supports, clamps, etc., wherever required as per approved drawings and as directed, including fixing charges, scaffolding etc. at all levels. The measurement shall be made in square meters of the finished walk way.

Providing and filling of M. Sand in trenches etc. and providing proper compaction with water and vibratory compactor. The work includes all charges of labour , water, vibratory compactor etc. complete as directed by Engineer in charge

HDPE pipes between kerbs: Providing and laying HDPE pipes of 10 cm dia between kerb to kerb for drawing DC cables wherever required. Rate includes supplying and laying of GI pipes, cutting of bituminous roads, concreting and providing necessary chambers in each kerbs

Civil work for Ground mounted Type

Civil works for Module Mounting Structures: Auguring / boring in all kinds of soil and laterite by means of suitable machinery of diameter of 300 mm up to suitable depth as per design including the positioning of the machinery, placing and aligning the columns with suitable template, as per lines, levels etc. as directed and concreting the pile using M-30 grade concrete with necessary embedment of the column in the pile foundation. Above the ground level an additional 200 mm thick cap using concrete of the same grade shall be provided for the pile foundation to protect the column including painting as directed. (The rate shall be quoted for the positioning, auguring, aligning, concreting and curing of the pile on running meter (RM) basis for a 300mm diameter pile foundation including the cost of all materials, labour, lead, lift, hire charges of all equipment’s, boring etc. complete as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Measurement shall be taken from the ground level to the final depth of auguring for each pile foundation. The cost of pile cap is deemed to be included in the cost of the pile.)

Civil works for Compact Substation (CSS): Providing all civil works for civil foundations including excavation in all kinds of soil as per design and drawings approved by the Engineer-in-charge for Compact sub-stations and SSBs (if any required) and as per technical specifications and as directed including cost, conveyance, lead, lift etc., of all materials, labour charges, at all levels. (The rate shall be quoted for the entire civil works of CSS & SSB foundations & protection kerbs, plastering, painting, etc., on as per CSS basis).

Civil works for string inverters: Providing all civil works for civil foundations including excavation in all kinds of soil as per design and drawings approved by the Engineer-in-charge for string inverters of appropriate capacities and numbers as per technical specifications and as directed including cost, conveyance, lead, lift, etc., of all materials, labour charges, plastering painting at all levels complete as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. (The rate shall be quoted for the entire civil works of all inverter foundations in the entire plants and protection kerbs as mentioned above on as lump sum basis).

Electrical Work

Supply of Solar PV Modules at site as per technical specifications and as approved by the Engineer-in-Charge

Supply of String inverters of voltage rating suitable for secondary voltage of the transformer (LT) +/- 10%, 3Ph, 50Hz, 200kW, AC or above capacity as per technical specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge, including supply of all accessories complete. (Payment for the string inverters shall be made for the actual KW supplied based on the design approval)

Supply of module mounting structures and string inverter mounting structures of approved specifications and design with all clamps, fasteners, bolts, etc., complete as per technical specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. The module mounting structure essentially consists of anodized aluminium purlins of approved size as per drawings approved by the Engineer-in-charge (anodizing thickness of 17 microns), with all other accessories such as anodized aluminium clamps of suitable size as per approved design to fasten the purlin to the roofing sheet (non-puncturing type), and also to fasten the modules with the purlin, as per approved design/drawings and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. This item shall also include supply of all mounting structures for installing string inverters on the vertical steel columns at specified heights, as per Item No. 3.02 above. (The rate shall be quoted for the supply of the entire mounting structures with all accessories such as distribution boards, light fittings, earthing materials, lightning protection, etc. complete, for the successful completion of the plant on as per kW basis (for carport)

Supply of columns (of 5mm thick) for the module mounting structures as per the approved specifications and design, complete as per technical specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. The column shall have additional gusset plates welded to the columns if required. (The rate shall be quoted for the supply of columns, gusset plates, on the basis of design weight. Cost of punching or welding etc., shall be deemed to be included in the rate quoted and nothing extra shall be payable) (for ground mounted)

Supply of all module mounting structures EXCLUDING COLUMNS and supply of inverter mounting structures, such as purlins, rafters, bracings, ties etc. as per drawings, design, technical specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. (The rate shall be quoted on the basis of design weight of various members. Cost of punching or welding etc., shall be deemed to be included in the rate quoted and nothing extra shall be payable)

Supply of 2Run x 1Core x 4sq.mm / 6 sq.mm. Copper solar PV cables for DC side and 3C, Armoured Copper/Aluminium, XLPE insulated cables of voltage rating suitable for secondary voltage (LT) of the transformer, of required size to limit the voltage drop to less than 1% at full load for both DC and AC side, as per technical specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. (The rate shall be quoted for the supply of the entire DC and AC cables and all accessories complete for the successful completion of this work on as per DC KWp basis)

Supply of Compact Sub-station (CSS) with 3 compartment enclosure fabricated out of 2mm thick CRCA GI sheet steel with powder coating of approved colour, base frame etc., complete, as per technical specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. The item shall comprise of the following components; (1) 33 kV RMU, non-extensible type consisting of; a. SF6 insulated, 630A, 21kA for minimum 1 sec load break switches (LBS) with integrated earth switch – 2 Nos. b. SF6 insulated, 630A, 25kA for 1 sec vacuum circuit breaker (VCB), disconnector with integrated earth switch, self-powered numeric relay with O/C and E/F protection with high set elements, Emergency push button –1No. c. SF6 gas pressure indicator, fault passage indicator and VPIS (2) 2000kVA, __/33kV, 50Hz, DYN11, hermetically sealed two winding transformers with laser scribed core for low loss, cable entry at HV side with cable end box / elbow connector, and bus duct at LV side, off circuit tap changer +5 to -10 % in steps of 2.5%. (3) LV panel constructed with Rittal/El Steel sections & components Form 4B construction, comprising of the following; a. 3200 A, TPN Al Bus bars -1 set b. Incomer -3200 A, TPN, EDO ACB with suitable short circuit current capacity rated for the transformer LT side and microprocessor release -1No c. Bus trucking as per approved design d. LV compartment for outgoing feeders – suitable numbers of outgoing feeders with suitably rated 3P, MCCBs with thermo magnetic release, so as to conform with the transformer secondary voltage (LT) and numbers and capacity of solar inverters with two numbers of additional spare feeders of same rating. e. Digital Power Analyzer -1No f. Analogue meters for voltage and current. g. Standby Earth fault relay with Neutral CT on neutral earth conductor and REF relay with primary trip. h. Sub-switch boards (SSB) as per the technical specifications if required as per the contractor’s design. i. Any other accessories as required.

Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of 33 kV panel for extension of the existing Crompton greaves make indoor panel (installed at MRS) fitted with the following; i. 33kV,26.3kA/3 Sec, Indoor VCB with Horizontal Draw out Horizontal Isolation Panel as incomer-1no. ii. 33KV,26.3kA/3 Sec, Indoor VCB with Horizontal Draw out Horizontal Isolation Panel as Bus coupler (Bus coupler & Adapter box) - 1 no iii.33kV,26.3kA/3 Sec, Indoor VCB with Horizontal Draw out Horizontal Isolation Panel as Outgoing-1no. Connected with all required protection, CT, PT, indication lamps and all accessories, as required, and detailed in the technical specification, scope of work and attached drawing as per the guidelines of KSEI and KSEBL. The panel should be extendable on both sides and the outgoing feeder should also have the necessary protection for connecting 5MVA (33/11kV) oil transformer in this feeder as detailed in the technical specification /special condition of the contract. Note: -1. The quoted price shall include all expenses connected with the SITC of solar meter/ABT meter and accessories etc. as per the guidelines of KSEI/KSEBL /Regulatory bodies.

Shifting of existing 33kV feeder of 5MVA 33/11kV oil type transformer to the outgoing feeder of the new 33kV panel (item no.3.08 of BOQ) including rerouting/replacement of existing 33kV cable, end termination earthing etc. and modification to install new solar meter /accessories required as per standards.

Supply, Installation, Testing and commissioning of 3C X 300 sq.mm. (33kV earthed) XLPE insulated PVC sheathed, Aluminium conductor armoured power cable of 19/33 kV grade confirming to IS 7098 amended up to date (including supply and installation of all accessories such as Hume pipes/HDPE pipe, cable jointing kits, end termination kits,2 numbers road crossing by HDD, cable route marker etc.)

Supply, Installation, Testing and commissioning of lighting system in carport and ground, entire earthing system including lightning protection system as approved by Engineer in Charge as detailed in the technical specification and as required as per standards.

Approval from KSEBL and CEIG including Preparation of drawings, calculations and submission of necessary data and inspections for getting approval and obtaining sanction for energization, for the proposed Solar PV installation and connected electrical system up to and including Electrical works inside Main Receiving Substation of KIAL.

Weather Monitoring System: Supply, installation, testing and commissioning a solar radiation and weather monitoring system as per technical specifications and as directed by the Engineer in Charge

SCADA System: Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of SCADA system including SCADA panels, PLCs, VPN device, external RTU (if required by contractor design) including its civil foundation & protection kerbs at required locations, and all components complete as per the technical specification and tender requirements, for the successful monitoring and control of the entire PV Plant installation. The SCADA shall also facilitate remote control for LBSs and VCBs of CSS from control room and shall also be capable of remote monitoring using web connection as per requirements provided in the technical specifications and as directed by the Engineer in Charge. Note: -Additional SCADA system should be provided (if necessary) near 33kV substation to monitor the various parameters by SLDC.

SLDC Interface for the SCADA System: Supply (of any other additional SCADA components including switches / routers / software / licenses / hardware), Installation, Configuration, Testing and Commissioning the real time interface of solar PV plant operational parameters and breaker status as required by KSEBL to the State Load Despatch Centre at Kalamassery through the internet facility available at the control room.

Design, Supply of all materials, Construction and Commissioning of PEB Control room of required size with clear heights as required and as per approved drawings and technical specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. The rate quoted shall include providing civil foundations, with necessary cable trenches with MS channels, electrical wirings, electrical light fittings, fans, exhaust fans, false ceiling, necessary partitions, doors, windows, necessary furniture and fittings, storage accessories as detailed in scope of work/technical specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. The rate shall be quoted on a plinth area basis in square meters.

Installation, Testing and Commissioning of PV modules, string inverters, CSS, SSB, module/Inverter mounting structures with all accessories, fasteners etc., but excluding all civil works, as per technical specifications, drawings and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge, with necessary protections such as for over current, short circuit, lightning, earthing systems etc., laying of DC/AC cables including excavation and backfilling or laying cables through UV protected HDPE / DWC pipes, cable ties as required, for connecting the modules to string inverters and from string inverters to the SSBs, if any and to the LV side of the CSS including all terminations etc., complete. (The rate shall include all types of fasteners including, clamps, screws, nuts, bolts, washers, etc. for the installation of the modules, inverters, module and inverter mounting structures and no extra rates will be applicable for the same. The rate shall be quoted for the installation, testing, and commissioning of the entire plant excluding the civil works on as per DC KWp

Operation & Maintenance Contract

Operation and maintenance charges for the entire Solar PV Installation including Solar PV modules, Support systems, Tracking system, Power Conditioning Units, lightning and earthing protection arrangements, solar PV system cables, Compact Sub-stations, Control room, and all other equipment’s, systems, etc. complete. The rate shall also include, plant monitoring, carrying out all necessary preventive/proactive maintenance of the entire PV system, logging system, weather monitoring system, SCADA, cleaning of solar PV panels with all necessary equipment’s, infrastructure etc., at specified intervals, deployment of all necessary personnel etc., complete as detailed in the special condition of contract and as per technical specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.
