(2.1) Providing and laying in position machine batched and machine mixed design mix M-25 grade cement concrete for reinforced cement concrete work, using cement content as per approved design mix, including pumping of concrete to site of laying but excluding the cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement, including admixtures in recommended proportions as per IS: 9103 to accelerate, retard setting of concrete, improve workability without impairing strength and durability as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.“(Note :- Cement content considered in this item is @ 330 kg/cum.“Excess/ less cement used as per design mix is payable/recoverable separately). (2.2.) Centering and shuttering including strutting, propping etc. and removal of form for all heights (2.2.1.) Columns, Pillars, Piers, Abutments, Posts and Struts

(2.2.2.) Lintels, beams, plinth beams, girders, bressumers and cantilevers

(2.2.3.) Suspended floors, roofs, landings, balconies and access platform

(2.3.) Steel reinforcement for R.C.C. work including straightening, cutting, bending, placing in position and binding all complete above plinth level (2.3.1.) Thermo-Mechanically Treated bars of grade Fe-500 D or more

WOOD AND PVC WORK

(3.1.) Providing and fixing fire retardant door, frames made out of hard wood (Hollock wood) of approved size with heat activated intumescent seal strip of size 15mm x 3mm suitable for mounting shutters of 120 minutes fire rating mounted on the rebate of the frame with one coat of approved brand of fire retardant primer and tested for 120 minutes with and including embedding frames in floors or walls, cutting masonry for hold fasts with supply and fixing of M.S. hold fasts as required including CBRI approved non-metallic asbestos free fire resisting door shutter of 120 minutes fire rating conforming to BS:476 Part-20 & 22, ISO:3614 Part-II as per prototype tested and certified at Central Building Research Institute, Roorkee, suitable for mounting on door frame. The shutter shall comprise of 52mm thick made out of 2 Nos. 12mm thick non-combustible board with insulation sandwitched in between, faced with 4mm thick water proof commercial ply facing on both sides and Second Class Teak Wood lipping for smoke sealing on all edges and heat activated intumescent seal strips of sizes 15mm x 3mm on three sides (excepting bottom) with and including one coat of anti-termite fire retardant prime and wood finished paint each shutter shall also include 200mm x 200mm Vision Panel of sandwitched glass rated at 120 minutes alongwith shutter as per CBRI, Roorkee complete etc.(The Items includes the cost of Door Frame, Door Shutter, Hold Fast, Screws, including all necessary hardwares as approved by Local Fire Services, fixing charges all taxes, transportation, sundries etc. complete). The above work is to be carried out by a specialized agency approved by Engineer-in-Charge.

STEEL WORK

(4.1.) Structural steel work in single section, fixed with or without connecting plate, including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer all complete. (Contractor shall prepare shop drawing prior to fabrication and get it approved by the design consultant. Design and drawing is under Contractor's Scope).

(4.2.) Steel work in built up tubular (round, square or rectangular hollow tubes etc.) trusses etc., including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer, including welding and bolted with special shaped washers etc. complete. (Contractor shall prepare shop drawing prior to fabrication and get it approved by the design consultant. Design and drawing is under Contractor's Scope). (4.2.1.) Hot finished seamless type tubes

(4.3.) Providing and fixing hand rail of approved size by welding etc. to steel ladder railing, balcony railing, staircase railing and similar works, including applying priming coat of approved steel primer. (4.3.1.) M.S. tube

ROOFING

(5.1.) Providing reinforced by organic fibres and/or inorganic synthetic fibres cement 6 mm thick corrugated sheets (as per IS: 14871) roofing up to any pitch and fixing with polymer coated J, or L hooks, bolts and nuts 8 mm dia. G.I. plain and bitumen washers or with self drilling fastener and EPDM washers etc. complete (excluding the cost of purlins, rafters and trusses), including cutting sheets to size and shape wherever required.(Make- Everest or equivalent)

(5.2.) Providing and fixing ridges and hips in fibre cement reinforced by organic fibres and/or inorganic synthetic fibres roofing with suitable fixing accessories or self drilling fastener and EPDM washer etc. complete. (5.2.1.) Plain wing adjustable ridges

(5.3.) Providing and fixing fibre cement reinforced by organic fibres and/or inorganic synthetic fibres roofing accessories in all colours with polymer coated J or L hooks, bolts and nuts and or G.I. seam bolts and nuts, G.I. plain and bitumen washers or with self drilling fastener and EPDM washer etc. complete: (5.3.1.) Barge boards

(5.4.) Providing and fixing precoated galvanised steel sheet roofing accessories 0.50 mm (+ 0.05 %) total coated thickness, Zinc coating 120 grams per sqm as per IS: 277, in 240 mpa steel grade, 5-7 microns epoxy primer on both side of the sheet and polyester top coat 15-18 microns using self drilling/ self tapping screws complete : (5.4.1.) Flashings/ Aprons.( Upto 600 mm)

(5.4.2.) Gutter .(600 mm over all girth)

FINISHING

(6.1.) 12 mm cement plaster of mix : (6.1.1.) 1:6 (1 cement: 6 coarse sand)

(6.2.) 18 mm cement plaster in two coats under layer 12 mm thick cement plaster 1:5 (1 cement : 5 coarse sand) finished with a top layer 6 mm thick cement plaster 1:6 (1 cement : 6 fine sand).

(6.3.) Finishing walls with textured exterior paint of required shade : (6.3.1.) New work (Two or more coats applied @ 3.28 ltr/10 sqm) over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 2.20kg/10 sqm

(6.4.) Painting with synthetic enamel paint, having VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) content less than 150 grams/ litre, of approved brand and manufacture, including applying additional coats wherever required to achieve even shade and colour. (6.4.1.) Two coats

ALUMINIUM WORK

(7.1.) Providing and fixing aluminium work for doors, windows, ventilators and partitions with extruded built up standard tubular sections/ appropriate Z sections and other sections of approved make conforming to IS: 733 and IS: 1285, fixing with dash fasteners of required dia and size, including necessary filling up the gaps at junctions, i.e. at top, bottom and sides with required EPDM rubber/ neoprene gasket etc. Aluminium sections shall be smooth, rust free, straight, mitred and jointed mechanically wherever required including cleat angle, Aluminium snap beading for glazing / paneling, C.P. brass / stainless steel screws, all complete as per architectural drawings and the directions of Engineer-in-charge. (Glazing, paneling and dash fasteners to be paid for separately) : (7.1.1.) For fixed portion (7.1.1.1.) Powder coated aluminium (minimum thickness of powder coating 50 micron)

(7.1.2.) For shutters of doors, windows & ventilators including providing and fixing hinges/ pivots and making provision for fixing of fittings wherever required including the cost of EPDM rubber / neoprene gasket required (Fittings shall be paid for separately) (7.1.2.1.) Powder coated aluminium (minimum thickness of powder coating 50 micron)

(7.2.) Providing and fixing glazing in aluminium door, window, ventilator shutters and partitions etc. with EPDM rubber / neoprene gasket etc. complete as per the architectural drawings and the directions of Engineer-in-charge . (Cost of aluminium snap beading shall be paid in basic item): (7.2.1.) With float glass panes of 5.50 mm thickness

(7.3.) Providing and fixing aluminium handles, ISI marked, anodised (anodic coating not less than grade AC 10 as per IS : 1868) transparent or dyed to required colour or shade, with necessary screws etc. complete : (7.3.1.) 100 mm

(7.3.2.) 125 mm

(7.4.) Providing and fixing aluminium tower bolts, ISI marked, anodised (anodic coating not less than grade AC 10 as per IS : 1868 ) transparent or dyed to required colour or shade, with necessary screws etc. complete : (7.4.1.) 100x10 mm

(7.5.) Providing and fixing double action hydraulic floor spring of approved brand and manufacture conforming to IS : 6315, having brand logo embossed on the body / plate with double spring mechanism and door weight upto 125 kg, for doors, including cost of cutting floors, embedding in floors as required and making good the same matching to the existing floor finishing and cover plates with brass pivot and single piece M.S. sheet outer box with slide plate etc. complete as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge. (7.5.1.) With stainless steel cover plate minimum 1.25 mm thickness

(7.6.) Providing and fixing carbon steel galvanised ( minimum coating 5 micron) dash fastener of 10 mm dia double threaded 6.8 grade (yield strength 480 N/mm2), counter sunk head, comprising of 10 m dia polyamide PA 6 grade sleeve, including drilling of hole in frame , concrete/ masonry, etc. as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. (7.6.1.) 10 x 120 mm

(7.7.) Providing and fixing stainless steel (SS 304 grade) adjustable friction windows stays of approved quality with necessary stainless steel screws etc. to the side hung windows as per direction of Engineer-in-charge complete. (7.7.1.) 355 X 19 mm

(7.8.) Filling the gap in between aluminium frame & adjacent RCC/ Brick/ Stone work by providing weather silicon sealant over backer rod of approved quality as per architectural drawings and direction of Engineer-in-charge complete. (7.8.1.) Upto 5mm depth and 5 mm width

WATER PROOFING

(8.1.) Providing and laying in situ five course water proofing treatment with APP (Atactic Polypropylene) modified Polymeric memberane over roof consisting of first coat of bitumen primer @ 0.40Kg per sqm, 2nd & 4th courses of bonding material @ 1.20 kg/sqm, which shall consist of blown type bitumen of grade 85/25 conforming to IS :702, 3rd layer of roofing membrane APP modified Polymeric membrane 2.0 mm thick of 3.00 Kg/ sqm weight consisting of five layers prefabricated with centre core as 100 micron HMHDPE film sandwiched on both sides with polymeric mix and the polymeric mix is protected on both side with 20 micron HMHDPE film. 5th, the top most layer shall be finished with glazed ceramic tiles of class designation 10 grouted with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement : 3 fine sand) mixed with 2% integral water proofing compound by weight of cement over a 12 mm layer of cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement : 3 fine sand) and finished neat (item of laying tiles shall be paid for separately).

(8.2.) Providing and laying Ceramic glazed floor tiles of size 300x300 mm (thickness to be specified by the manufacturer) of 1st quality conforming to IS : 15622 of approved make in colours such as White, Ivory, Grey, Fume Red Brown, laid on 20 mm thick cement mortar 1:4 (1 Cement : 4 Coarse sand), jointing with grey cement slurry @ 3.3kg/sqm including pointing the joints with white cement and matching pigment etc., complete.

DISMANTLING

(9.1.) Demolishing R.C.C. work manually/ by mechanical means including stacking of steel bars and disposal of unserviceable material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer - in- charge

(9.2.) Extra for cutting reinforcement bars manually/ by mechanical means in R.C.C. or R.B. work (Payment shall be made on the cross sectional area of R.C.C. or R.B. work) as per direction of Engineerin-charge

(9.3.) Demolishing concrete block work manually/ by mechanical means including stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer-in-charge (9.3.1.) In cement mortar

(9.4.) Dismantling C.I. pipes manually/ by mechanical means breaking lead caulked joints, melting of lead and making into blocks including stacking of pipes & lead at site within 50 metre lead as per direction of Engineer-in-charge (9.4.1.) Up to 150 mm diameter

(9.5.) Dismantling PVC pipes manually/ by mechanical means including stacking of pipes at site within 50 metre lead as per direction of Engineer-in-charge (9.5.1.) Up to 110 mm diameter

(9.6.) Dismantling G.I. tape 20 mm X 3 mm thick on parapet or on surface of wall for lightning conductor complete as required

(9.7.) Dismantling doors, windows and clerestory windows (steel or wood) shutter including chowkhats, architrave, holdfasts etc. complete and stacking within 50 metres lead (9.7.1.) Of area 3 sq. metres and below

REROUTING MEP SERVICES

(10.1.) Providing and fixing G.I. tape 20 mm X 3 mm thick on parapet or on surface of wall for lightning conductor complete as required

(10.2.) Providing and fixing G.I. tape 20 mm X 3 mm thick on parapet or on surface of wall for lightning conductor complete as required with Department Material

(10.3.) Providing, laying, testing and commissioning of Class "C" heavy duty MS pipe conforming to IS:1239 including fittings like elbows, tees, flangees, tapers, nuts, bolts, gaskets etc., fixing the pipe on pipe on the wall/ceiling with suitable clamps and painting with two or more coats oof synthetic paint of required shade complete as required (10.3.1.) 150 mm dia

(10.4.) Providing, laying, testing and commissioning of Class "C" heavy duty MS pipe conforming to IS:1239 including fittings like elbows, tees, flangees, tapers, nuts, bolts, gaskets etc., fixing the pipe on pipe on the wall/ceiling with suitable clamps and painting with two or more coats of synthetic paint of required shade complete as required with Department MS Pipes (10.4.1.) 150 mm dia

(10.5.) Providing and fixing Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) pipes, including all necessary fittings. This includes jointing of pipes & fittings with one step PVC solvent cement & testing of joints complete as per direction of Engineer in Charge (10.5.1.) 100 mm nominal inner dia Pipes

(10.6.) Providing and fixing Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) pipes, including all necessary fittings. MISCELLANEOUS

(11.1.) Providing and placing 20mm dia high grade 8.8 Bolt having overall length 0.6 mtr. with hot dip galvanized corrosive protection including bolt grouting with non shrink compound, as directed by Engineer in Charge with nut washer all complete.

(11.2.) Approved non shrink quality Grout material (premix type), free flow grout of approved brand as approved by client shall be provided for all anchor bolt sleeves, pockets and spaces under column bases, shoe plates and for strengthening RCC in any other area as directed by Engineer in Charge.
