TWO SPINDLE NUT RUNNER FOR MAIN BEARING CAP BOLTS TIGHTENING APPLICATION Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of DC Automated Nut runner machine, with dual spindle for con rod cap bolts tightening application. General specifications. • The machine has to be modular plug and play construction with XY axis movement overhead. • No. of Spindles to be considered: - 2 Nos. • Two Model Ashok Leyland Engine has to be considered– Leyland BSII Hino Euro and Leyland BSII Viking • No. of Bolts / Nuts: - 2 Nos. of bolts (Six Pairs) • Approx. Torque: - 18 +/- 2 Kg-m. (176 +/- 20 Nm) (not to exceed 400Nm) • Manual Trolley type conveyor. The engine is mounted perpendicular to the conveyor. • Construction of System: - Vertical suspension with spring balancer assisted up / down movement of the Horizontal Powerhead.

Mechanical System specifications • The system has to be suspended on the Structure with horizontal power head suspended below this Structure. • System to be Suspended from the 2 column of approx. 3.5 mts. height which is the supplier scope. • Twin I beam of 600 mm length with help of trolley to be mounted along the Conveyor. • Horizontal powerhead consisting of Two Nutrunner Spindles with base plate, top plate, socket assemblies, socket adaptors & sockets. • Manual Pitch movement with lead screw (manually adjusted) • To be provided with spring balancer assisted Up Down movement with guide rod arrangement. Swivel Arrangement to be provided for both the directions. Electrical and automation System specifications • Nut runner spindle with control modules, display units and cable length at least 10 meters (2 nos), along with relevant certifications • Control panel with electrical controllers, and PLC modules • Proxy sensor 6 no/ Encoder for sequence tightening. • Cooling arrangement for the control panel has to be provided • HMI display with fault diagnosis, IO listings. • Modules with audio visual signals as required. • 2 D bar code scanner for scanning engine numbers online.
