Appendix C:- Forming platform(DAR)

od2859/2018_2019 : Forming platform for carrying out piling work using ISMB 165x350mm as longitudinal and cross beams over a set of 9 nos coconut piles driven down at 50cm c/c (set of coconut piles have a longitudinal spacing of 5.50m c/c) to a minimum depth of 2.5m from bed level of the sea, connecting the coconut piles as set of 3 nos ISMB75x150mm and providing 25mm dia M.S rods at top and bottom of ISMB 75x150, welding properly,(ISMB165x350 rests over this set), connecting the sets of piles with ISMB 165x350 longitudinally and transversely using bolts and nuts, angle iron, welding etc wherever necessary, providing 100x200mm ISMB over this beam for laying wooden planks 40mm thick to form the platform excluding the 1.20x1.20m area for pile, forming land connection using 4 nos of coconut piles per set, 2 nos such sets to withstand the load of land connection having connecting beam of ISMB 165x350mm, wooden planks 40mm thick etc complete so as to form a sound platform for erecting boring tower, power winch and its machinery, men and materials, etc. as per the directions of the departmental officers at site.
