Random rubble masonry with hard stone in foundation and plinth including levelling up with cement concrete 1:6:12 (1 cement : 6 coarse sand : 12 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size) up to plinth level with cement mortar 1:6 (1 cement : 6 coarse sand).

Laterate masonry with neatly dressed laterate stone of size 40x20x15cm or nearest size in cement mortar 1:6 for super structure above plinth level up to floor two level including all cost of materials, labour charges etc.

Brick work with common burnt clay F.P.S. (non modular) bricks of class designation 7.5 in superstructure above plinth level up to floor V level in all shapes and sizes in cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand).

Plastering with 12 mm cement plaster of mix: 1:4 ( 1 cement : 4 coarse sand).

Providing and laying in position cement concrete 1:2:4 (cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size) excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level.

Removing dry or oil bound distemper, water proofing cement paint and the like by scrapping, sand papering and preparing the surface smooth including necessary repairs to scratches etc. complete.

Applying one coat of water thinnable cement primer of approved brand and manufacture on wall surface:Water thinnable cement primer.

Wall painting with acrylic emulsion paint of approved brand and manufacture to give an even shade: Two or more coats on new work.

Painting with synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and manufacture of required colour to give an even shade: Two or more coats on new work over an under coat of suitable shade with ordinary paint of approved brand and manufacture.

Appendix B : Repairs ot Security cabin Providing and fixing double scaffolding system (cup lock type) on the exterior side, upto seven story hight made with 40 mm dia. M.S. tube 1.5 m centre to centre, horizontal & vertical tubes joining with cup & lock system with M.S. tubes, M.S. tube challies, M.S. clamps and M.S. staricase system in the scaffolding for working platform etc. and maintaining it in a serviceable condition for the required duration as approved and removing it there after. The scaffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings, runners, connection with the building etc wherever required for inspection of work at required location with essential safety features for the workmen etc. complete as per directions and approval of Engineer- in Charge. The elevational area of the scaffolding shall be measured for payment purpose. The payment will be made once irrespective of duration of scaffolding. Note:- This item to be used for maintenance work judicially, necessary deduction for scaffolding in the existing item to be done.

Dismantling wood work in frames, trusses, purlins rafters up to 10 meters span and 5 meters height including stacking the material within 50 meters lead of sectional area 40 square centimeters and above.

Dismantling wooden ceiling / flooring excluding supporting members but including stacking within 50 meters lead thickness above 10 mm up to 25 mm.

Ceiling with 12 mm 2nd class teak wood planks, planed , lap jointed and wire nails to rafters and collars including all cost of materials and labour charges etc. complete.

Providing second class teak wood work in frames of doors, windows, clerestory windows and other frames, wrought and framed fixed in position with hold fast lugs of with dash fasteners of required dia and length (hold fasts lugs or dash fasteners shall be paid for separately) including ornamental cutting at the edges of rafters etc. complete.

Labour charges for providing wooden roof work with departmental wood as per the direction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Supplying and fixing teakwood reaper of size 50 x 25 mm with wire nails including all cost and conveyance of materials etc. complete.

Protective coating to the wooden roof members with CNS (cashew shell oil) mixed with diesel at 1:1 (1 diesel : 1 CNS oil) Two or more coats as directed by departmental officer at site, including cost of materials and labour charges etc. complete.

Providing & fixing on roof pressed clay tile (Mangalore tile) of 20 mm nominal thickness and of approved size and as per approved pattern on steel frame work complete.

Providing & laying on roof pressed clay tile ridge (Mangalore tile) of 20 mm thickness and of approved pattern on steel frame work complete.

Providing and fixing panelled or panelled and glazed shutters for doors, window sand clerestory windows fixing with butt hinges of required size with necessary screws, excluding panelling which will be paid for separately, all complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. (Note:- Butt hinges and necessary screws shall be paid separately) Second class teak wood 35 mm thick shutters.

Providing and fixing second class teak wood panelling or panelling and glazing in panelled or panelled and glazed shutters for doors, windows and clerestory windows (Area of opening for panel inserts excluding portion inside grooves or rebates to be measured), Panelling for panelled or panelled and glazed shutters 25 mm to 40 mm thick.

Renewing float glass panes of thickness 4 mm with wooden fillets wherever necessary.

Providing and fixing glazed shutters for door, windows and clerestory windows using 4 mm thick float glass panes including ISI marked M.S. Pressed butt hinges bright finished of required size with necessary screws.30 mm thick.

Providing and laying in position cement concrete 1:2:4 (cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size) excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level.

Flooring with terracotta tiles of size 225x225mm laid on cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement :4 coarse sand) with 4 mm open joints, grouted and pointed with cement mortar 1:2 (1 cement : 2 fine sand).
