Supplying Precast RCC cover slabs of outer dimensions (0.625 m x 1.10 m x 0.15 m) as per the following sequence of work:-a)Supplying and fixing structural steel frame work with ISMC 150 (150 mm x 75 mm x 5.7 mm) size alround the RCC cover slab including cutting, welding etc complete ,b)Providing and casting the RCC cover slab with mix 1:1:2 ( 1 Cement : 1 coarse sand : 2 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size) with steel fibres of dia less than 0.75 mm and length about 50 mm, mixed @ 1 % of concrete by volume, c)The cover slab shall be cast on metal sheet / plywood sheet as base formwork, and level surface ensured prior to casting, d) Providing reinforcement for cover slab using 12 mm dia Fe 500D-TMT bars @ 150 mm centre to centre both ways in two layers including cutting, welding, fixing in position etc. complete, and two hooks of dia 10 mm sufficiently developed in the concrete mass for lifting. The ends of reinforcing bars shall be spot welded to frame, e)Curing the cast slab for at least 14 days by immersion curing in water tank, f)The slabs can be cast in CTO Compound Ernakulam and shall be shifted and stacked suitably at secure location within the same compound, decided in consulation with the Engineer in Charge--The rate includes cost of all materials like steel frame work, concrete, reinforcement, all labour charges, form work etc..

Removing the existing KMRL utility duct cover slab and laying new slab, including labour involved in loading and unloading new as well as old slab-new slab from CTO building Ernakulam to different locations over utility duct, and old slab from different locations over utlity duct to a single location within 8 km lead as demarcated by KMRL.

Supplying and Setting in RC utility slab reinforcement mesh prior to concreting, galvanised MS foundation bolts M 8 x 160, threaded length 80 mm clear above concrete surface and of class 4.6 and nuts, with bolts spot welded in a line on 25 mm x 5 mm MS flat embedded in concrete, both the bolts as well as MS flat tack welded or tied by binding wire to reinforcement bars, and ensuring that bolts stay in position during concreting. Rate worked out for 8 anchor bolts set in two parallel lines [4 x 2 = 8 bolts] on one slab in the above manner as per drawing.
