III) FIRE FIGHTING AND FIRE HYDRANT SYSTEM: : Annual maintenance by ensuring Power supply-voltage & current, equipment temperature, noise level, water flow, terminations, vibrations, & other essential parameters are maintained at normal levels by taking preventive measures as per the manufacturer's standards so that the equipment is functioning smoothly . The work should be carriedout as per the directions of the Engineer in Charge of the work. Electrical motor driven main pump of75 HP horizontal centrifugal end suction type with gland packing and capable to deliver 2850LPM at 120MWC to ensure a minimum pressure of 3.5 Kg/Sqcm at the farthest or topmost hydrant / sprinkler. Fire pump shall have C.I. casing, CS diffusers, bronze impeller (hard finished and dynamically balanced) and S.S. (304) Shaft with mechanical seal. The installation is complete with necessary pressure gauge with gun metal shut off cock on delivery side. The pump is coupled to Squirrel cage induction motor, TEFC type suitable for operation on 415 volts, 3 phase 50 HZ A.C supply, for the above pump with synchronous speed of 1800 RPM, conforming to IP 55 protection & class F insulation. The motor shall conform to IS 325-1978 (up to date) and complete set mounted on common base frame, coupled to Vibration isolator, flexible couplings and Foundation bolts etc.

Annual Maintenance of Operational maintenance for fire pumps by ensuring Power supply-voltage & current, equipment temperature, noise level, water flow Flow, terminations, viberations, & other essential parameters are maintained at normal levels by taking preventive measures as per the manufacturer's standards so that the equipment is functioning smoothly .The work should be carriedout as per the directions of the Engineer in Charge of the work. The pump is coupled to suitable 75HP of Diesel engine radiator water cooled type with speed of 1500 RPM and complete set shall be mounted on common base frame. Batteries & battery leads with stand, Fuel tank ( for 6 Hrs. operation ) with stand & glass gauge , Fuel piping with valves. The radiator water cooling piping , coupling gaurd and other standard accessories,flexible couplings and foundation bolts, etc. complete. Pump is capable of furnishing not less than 150% of rated capacity at a head of not less than 65% of the rated head. The shut off head will not exceed 120% of rated head.heat exchanger with necessary piping connections & fittings, flexible coupling, coupling guard & exhaust pipe connection complete.

Annual maintenance by ensuring Power supply-voltage & current, equipment temperature, noise level, water flow Flow, terminations, vibrations, & other essential parameters are maintained at normal levels by taking preventive measures as per the manufacturer's standards so that the equipment is functioning smoothly .The work should be carriedout as per the directions of the Engineer in Charge of the work. Electrical motor driven 10HP JOCKEY pump of horizontal centrifugal end suction back pull out type with gland packing and capable to deliver 180LPM at 45 mts head with all the necessary accessories viz. Pressure gauges etc. operating on 3 Ph 50 Hz, 400/440V AC supply including base frame foundation, bolts etc. complete. The pump is coupled to TEFC motor of suitable HP with speed of 2900RPM and complete set shall mounted on common base frame. The coupling and coupling gaurd RCC foundation (as recommended by manufacturer) and Foundation bolts, etc complete.

Annual Maintenance of Gun Metal fire brigade connection (suction collecting head) consisting of 4 Nos. 63 mm dia instantaneous type male couplings with built-in check valves, 1 No. 150 mm dia sluice valve, (1 No. 150 mm dia non-return valve) and 150 mm dia flanged outlet complete with bolts, nuts and rubber insertions as required and as per IS standards, complete as required .

Annual maintenance by ensuring all opening & closing of Strainer & foot valves, brass ball valve, CI butterfly valves, dual plate CI wafer type check valve, be operated smoothly, water flow, & other essential parameters are maintained at normal levels, clean & remove the silt collected in ''Y''-stainers, by taking preventive measures as per the manufacturer's standards so that the equipment is functioning smoothly . The entire system shall be checked for operations every 30-days, the water shall be removed from the circuit & fresh water be made to flow in the Hydrant circuit so that the corrosion be minimised,The work should be carriedout as per the directions of the Engineer in Charge of the work.

Annual maintenance of Control panel for fire hyndrant system pumps motor control centre is fabricated out of 14 gauge CRCA sheet steel in cubicle in 3b formation with reinforcement of suitable size angle iron, channel ‘T’ sections irons and/or flats wherever necessary. Cable gland plates is provided on top as well as at the bottom of the panels. Panels be treated with all anticorrosive process before painting as per specifications with 2 coats of red oxide primer and final approved shade of powder coated paint. 2 Nos. earthing terminals shall be provided for 3 phase, 4 wire, 50 Hz supply system. Lifting hooks also provided in case of large panels. Approval be taken for each panel before fabrication. Cadimium plated hardware shall be used in fabrication of panels. MCC-1 (Fire Panel), INCOMING: a. 1 No. 400 amps 4 pole mechanical interlocked incoming MCCB complete with the following: ii. 0-400 amps 96 x 96 mm square ammeter with 400/5 amps 15 VA CL:1 CT's and selector switch 1 Set, iii. Phase indicating lamps shall be protected by 2 amps SP MCB 6 Sets, b. Aluminium bus bar sleeves type, rated at 600 amps for three phase & neutral phase bus bar shall have maximum current density of 1 amps per sq.cm. and the neutral bus bar of not less than 50% capacity. OUTGOING: c. 2 Nos. 250 amps TPN MCCB outgoing feeders with 75HP/56KW STAR DELTA starters out going feeders to Hydrant / Sprinkler pump motor. The compartment shall contain CT operated ammeter of 0-250 amps range with selector switch auto / manual selector switch and indicating lamp with MCBs for `ON'/OFF`TRIP' status of motor. d. 2 Nos. 60 amps TPN MCCB, 15 KW Direct online starter with single phase preventer and outgoing feeder to jockey pump motor. The compartment contain CT operated ammeter of 0-60 amps and indicating lamps with MCBs for `ON'/OFF`TRIP' status of pump motors. e. 1 No. auto start panel activated with pressure switch for diesel engine complete with all accessories, batteries, battery charger of suitable rating, MCB timers, push buttons, microprocessor based alarm annunciator, wiring and cabling including connection to diesel engine complete as required ready for working. f. outgoing feeder for 10 h.p. overhead booster pumps,including necessary automanual operation through prssure switches include cable lentgh from plant room to overhead booster pupms. g. Necessary cable alleys space for spare switches, internal wiring and copper earthing of all equipment . Note: All switch gears/control gears shall be motor duty rating.All MCCB's are suitable for motor duty and shall be of 25 KA breaking capacity.

Annual Maintenance of Synchronisation Panel of 2 No.s 500 KVA DG setl: Annual maintenance by ensuring Power supply-voltage & current, frequency, equipment temperature, noise level, current Flow, terminations, viberations & other essential parameters are maintained at normal levels by taking preventive measures as per the manufacturer's standards so that the equipment is functioning smoothly in good working condition. The sequence of operations to be set as per requirement. The technical details are as stated below which needs to be maintained in good working condition. cubical type AMF Panel board made of sheet steel clad cubical pattern, free floor, standing, dust and vermin proof, totally enclosed compartmentalized formation design, panel shall conform to the IS 8623 specification.The enclosure have been fabricated out of cold-rolled sheet steel having a minimum thickness of 2 mm. The folded sections. Hinged typed doorshave been provided for feeder compartments. Doors for the bus bar chamber and cable alleyhave been plated screws onlyhave been used. 16G MS partitions / barriers have been provided between adjacent top and bottom compartments. Live parts have been properly shrouded. All the equipments mounted inside the panel have been accessible from the front. The maximum operating height of the switches should not be more than 1825 mm and minimum 350mm. Arrangement and rating of the bus bar main connections and wiring have been in accordance with IS:375/1963. Detachable type glanding plate have been provided for the cable alley at the bottom / top of the panel board for terminating the cables. All the doors provided with flat type rubber gaskets to prevent entry of dust, water, insects, worms etc., There have been engraved identification label fixed on the door of each modules/bus bar chambers, cable alleys, push button indicating lamps, contactor and relays, timers, fuses etc. complete. The bus bars have been suitable for 3 phase 4 wire 433 Volts 50Hz system. The bus bars have been made of high conductivity aluminium, strips conforming to IS specifications. The bus bars is having uniform cross sections throughout. The bus bars is capable for carrying the rated current at 433 Volts continuously. The Aluminum bus bar have been c`onsidered with current density of 0.8 Amps per Sq.mm. The bus bars have been designed to with stand a temperature rise of 45 degree C above the ambient temperature. The bus bars have been supported on suitable bus bar insulator at sufficiently close intervals and rigidly fixed so that they shall not undergo any distortion or damage under the thermal and dynamic stresses due to the system short circuits. All the bus bars have been insulated with heat shrinkable PVC sleeves and colour coded. All the control wiring have been used minimum size of 2.5sqmm. Flexible copper cable only. All the control system have been used fully electrically operated contactors and timer only. All control contacts have been provided with spring return contact. All replaceable contacts, coils, springs, control elements can be conveniently removed from the front panel without major dis-assembly / disconnection of power conductor. Sensing and control grade type with a minimum contact rating of 10 ampers. OPERATIONS: (a) The normal or main source have been constantly monitored by a main voltage monitor. (b) When mains voltage varies below 80% and above 120% of the rated voltage the automatic control system shall give a starting signal to the diesel generator set. (c) In the event of the failure of the diesel generator set due to faulty starting, the normal source can be energised without any time delay on the restoration of the normal source. (d) If the DG set fails to start and reach its operating speed in 20/25 secs. In three or four attempts, the set shall automatically be disconnected and locked in isolated position. (e) A test switch to simulate a normal source failure have been provided for routine testing of the transfer switch panel and DG set. The ACB has been an insulation voltage of 1000V, service voltage of 690 V , Impulse withstand voltage of 12 KV and shall conform to IEC 947-2 . The ACB have been with following accessaries . The work should be carriedout as per the directions of the Engineer in Charge of the work. 2-way, full-range array module loudspeaker shall contain six (6) 2-inch titanium-diaphragm compression drivers mounted to a continuous-arc diffraction-slot manifold. The manifold will provide acoustic summation that is free from significant peaks or dips in response, from 500 Hz to 16 kHz, and exit into a constant-directivity waveguide with effective pattern control to approximately 1 kHz. The low-frequency section shall contain two (2) 10-inch cone transducers with 3-inch voice coils, with each woofer contained in a separate vented enclosure. The array module loudspeaker shall meet the following performance specifications: On-axis system frequency response shall be 60 Hz to 16 kHz (+/- 3 dB) with recommended crossover and active equalization. The low-frequency sensitivity shall be 93 dB SPL in free field with 1 W input and be capable of producing peak output of 126 dB SPL on axis at 1 meter, with recommended equalization. The high-frequency sensitivity shall be 104 dB SPL in free field with 1 W input and be capable of producing peak output of 132 dB SPL on axis at 1 meter, with recommended equalization. The low-frequency section shall have a long-term power handling rating of 500 W and a nominal input impedance of 4 ohms. The high-frequency section shall have a long-term power handling rating of 150 W and a nominal input impedance of 8 ohms.
