Topographic and Hydrographic Survey for Major Bridges (i) River Survey to be done as per scope covered in the offer submitted, covering 3 km upstream and 2 Km downstream from proposed center line alignment intercepting the river stream. Recording bed levels along the mainstream of river and typical cross section of river at 200m interval as directed by RITES to a natural scale of 5m to a cm. (ii) Cross section extent should be atleast 100 m beyond the highest HFL or bank to bank levels. (iii) Plotting on AutoCAD the L-section of the riverbed and typical cross sections of river, Plan of the river on 3Km upstream and 2km downstream as per scale instructed by RITES. Note: The no of bridges may increase/decrease based on the finalization of alignment by the Client.

Carry out the surface and sub-surface survey to ascertain all utilities including infringements within the ROW all along the proposed alignment in midsection/yards such as OHE masts, electrical lines & poles, telephone line, high tension lines, OFCcables, existing RE cables / S& T Quad cables, pipelines of drainage / sewerage / water / petro / gas, Trees & other infringing structures etc., complete with respect to Revised SOD – 2004 with latest correction slips, including preparation of Schematic Plan duly showing the detailed scheme for shifting of all identified utilities /infringements in most economical way using latest technologies duly identifying the proposed shifting locations with contactors tools & plant , labour ,machinery, equipment complete. For sub-surface investigation the Contractor shall employ high resolution non-intrusive survey techniques like Ground Penetration Radar survey. Data collection should be in point mode for undulated terrain and in plain mode for plain terrain and should be available in 2D & 3D formats. This item includes deployment of complete GPR (Ground penetration radar system) including allaccessories, staff etc.The scope includes an underground and overground utility survey using Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) and other necessary equipment as per technical specifications and as per best engineering practices. All utilities to be mapped in the DPR with the owner of the utility , modifications required, if any.

Additional data processing may be carried out from the captured raw data, if required, based on the final alignment finalization. Pre-processing of additional data per square kilometer may be conducted for changes in alignment, but only within the corridor on either side of the alignment where Aerial LiDAR data has been captured

AERIAL LIDAR SURVEY USING AIRCRAFT/HELICOPTER An Aerial LiDAR survey using an aircraft or helicopter, complemented by aerial photography, shall be conducted for the area of interest covering the proposed alignment. The survey includes the identification and establishment of control points (Horizontal control by DGPS Triangulated Network and Vertical control by leveling w.r.t. GTS Benchmark), hydrological survey for minor bridges, river and water body crossings, as per the scope of work and technical specifications between Hyderabad–Chennai (705 km). Data capture will be carried out for a 600m-wide corridor (i.e., 300m on each side of the proposed alignment). However, data processing will be conducted for a 100m-wide corridor (i.e., 50m on either side of the alignment). Preparation of 3-D topograpgical Map as per technical specifications for design of final aligment. Additionally, the scope involves the supply of an all-in-one desktop PC, data processing, and submission of all deliverables, including the identification and establishment of control points as per the scope of work and technical specifications outlined in the tender document. Supply of two numbers of All in one Desktop PC (HP, DELL, ASUS) - i9/i7, 12th generation processor with minimum 32 GB DDR4 RAM, 1 TB SSD, Intel UHD 770/NVIDIA graphics card or higher along with windows latest operating system, with 3 years onsite warranty, to suit the verification and utilization of all LIDAR processed data and outputs along with all licensed softwares (3D Civil/Autocad, Open Rail, Global mapper, Adobe Professional, and any other software required for the project) (except required for processing of LIDAR raw data) required for the project with validity for 1 year from the actual date of completion of the project.Video file merged for entire length of corridor in 4k quality in mp4 format with a Speacial video player with 4K Monitor & Player for viewing the videos. The video file shall be based on DEM based Ortho. Report on approach and methodology adopted for the creation of Digital Terrain Model and its field verification. List of all the permanent Control Points and reference Pillars with coordinated (in grid and ground system) in Tabular form. All the drawings are to be made with a scale of 1:1000 or as per the instructions of client. The locations of Permanent Control Points, Reference pillars, and GTS benchmarks shall be shown with X,Y,Z co-ordinates various maps, plans etc.For all other activirties and deliverables please refer the specifications and Tender Document. Payment Terms: 90% of the payment will be released upon completion of fieldwork and submission of data and reports. 10% of the payment will be released upon acceptance by the Railway.
