8.8-801 - Direction and Place Identification Signs with size more than 0.9 Sqm size Board: Providing and erecting direction and place identification retroreflectorised sign as per IRC:67:2022 made of high intensity grade sheeting vide clause 801.3, fixed over aluminium sheeting, 2 mm thick or Aluminium composite material sheet with overall thickness of 4mm with area exceeding 0.9 m2 fixed over back support frame of min 40 x 40 x 5mm angle mounted on a mild steel circular pipe 65 NB, firmly fixed to the ground by means of properly designed foundation with M25 grade cement concrete 45 x 45 x 60 cm, 60 cm below ground level as per approved drawing." 001 - Providing and Application of Transparent ElectroCut Films which are overlaid and bonded with the Sheeting of Informatory and other Sign boards for lettering, figures, messages, borders and symbols etc as specified by the Retro-reflectorised sheeting manufacturer, the coefficient of reflection of the colored Film shall be maintained with the performance comparable to the same reflective sheeting as per the clause 6.8 of IRC:67-2022, complete including cost of Film/Vinyl, materials, labour etc. (As per 2022-23 Approved Quotation Rate, Sl.No: 1, Mangalore Circle)

018 - Providing and Application of Block and Facility Marking, Hazard Marking, Directional and Arrow Marking as per IRC: 35-2015 Clause 3.3 - 3.7 with approved quantity of Hot Applied Thermoplastic Material on Bituminous Road Surface which meets the MORTH specification of Clause 803.4.2.2 which is applied by a screed technique, where the Thermoplastic Compound applied is not less than 3mm in thickness, with the surface application of solid reflectorizing glass beads at 250 gms/sqm shall be applied simultanously to produce an adherent pavement marking including the cost of all materials, lead and lift, labour, transportation etc.,. The finished surface shall be uniform and free from streaks and holes, complete as per the specified drawing and Engineer Incharge. (As per 2022-23 Approved Data Rate, Sl.No: 18, Mangalore Circle)

018 - Providing and Application of Transverse Bar Marking on Roads to reduce the speed of the vehicle and to warn the hazard ahead in advance as per IRC: 35-2015 Clause 11.2, with hot applied thermoplastic road marking compound which meets the MORTH specification of Clause 803.4.1 which is applied by a screed technique, where the Transverse Bar shall be formed in one continuous integral process, the screed applied is not less than 6mm in thickness and the spacing between the Bars shall be maintained at a distance of 600 mm from one Bar to another, following application of the line a surface application of solid reflectorizing glass beads at 250 gms/sqm shall be applied. The minimum and maximum width of Transverse Bar Marking shall be ristricted to 300mm whereas one set shall comprise of 6 No's of Transverse Bar including the cost of all materials, lead and lift, labour etc., . The finished surface shall be uniform and free from streaks and holes, complete as per the specified drawing and Engineer Incharge. (As per 2022-23 Approved Data Rate, Sl.No: 18, Mangalore Circle)

8.43 - Supplying and Fixing of Molded Shank Raised Pavement Markers / Cat's Eye made of polycarbonate and ABS moulded body and reflective panels with micro prismatic lens capable of providing total internal reflection of the light entering the lens face and shall support a load of 16000 kg tested in accordance to ASTM D 4280 Type H and complying to Specifications of Category A of MORTH Circular No RW/NH/33023/10-97 DO III Dt 11.06. 1997. The height, width and length shall not exceed 50 mm, 100 mm and 102 +/- 2 mm and with minimum reflective area of 13 cm2 on each side and the slope to the base shall be 35 +/- 5 degree. The strength of detachment of the integrated cylindrical shanks, (of diameter not less than 19 +/- 2 mm and height not less than 30+/- 2 mm) from the body is to be a minimum value of 500 Kg. Fixing will be by drilling holes on the road for the shanks to go inside, without nails and using epoxy resin based adhesive as per manufacturer's recommendation and complete as directed by the engineer.The contractor shall submit a two year warranty for satisfactory field performance including stipulated retro-reflectance of the reflecting panel, to the Engineer. 8.32 - Supplying & fixing of Solar Raised Pavement Markers made of polycarbonate molded body with circular shape, solar powered, LED self illumination in active mode, 360 degree illumination and reflective panels with micro prismatic lens capable of providing total internal reflection of the light entering the lens face in passive mode. The marker shall support a load of 20000 kg tested in accordance to ASTM D 4280. The marker should be resistant to dust and water ingress according to IP 65 standards and should withstand tempertures in the range of 0 C to 70 C. Color of lighting could be provided in red or yellow (amber) as per requirement and typicl frequency of blinking is 1 Hz. There should be current losses of less than 20 microamperes at 2.4 V in sleepcharging mode to enhance the life of the marker and a full charge should provide for a minimum autonomy of 50 hours. The height, width and length of the marker shall not be less than 10 mm x 100 mm x 100 mm. Also, the surface diameter of the marker shall not be less than 100 mm respectively. The weight of the marker shall not exceed 0.5 kg. Fixing will be by drilling holes on the road for the shanks to go inside, without nails and using epoxy resin based adhesive and complete as directed by the Engineer" PWD SoR 2023-24 Volume-3, Pg No.71, It. 003 - Providing and Fixing of 100mm Dia Reflective Bollards, made out of 2mm thick Galvanized Iron Circular Pipe and having an overall height of 1.5 m, where the top surface of the Pipe shall be covered with Half Ball metal Cap, with exposed core-shell structure which is fixed 1.00 m above the ground level, firmly fixed to the ground by means of properly designed foundation with M20 grade concrete 30cm x 30cm x 50cm below the ground level, including 30cm x 30cm x 20cm pedestal above the ground level, the pedestal shall be painted with two coats of Plastic Emultion paint, the exposed outter core shall be divided with 3 equal Portions of 300mm each, the top and bottom portion shall be applied with Black Vinyl sheeting and the center portion of the outter core with White Vinyl sheeting, along with 2 Nos. of 150mm x 300mm Red/Yellow Panels on the top portion shall be applied with cube corner micro prismatic grade sheeting confirming to Type XI Standards etc., Complete including the cost of all materials, labour, lead and lift, labour., 10 years Original Warranty for Retro Reflective Sheeting from the original sheeting manufacturer & a certified copy of Test Report for the product offered shall be obtained from the supplier as per clause 6.9 of IRC:67-2012. complete as per the specification. 8.44 - Providing and Fixing of Median Marker that are made of tough, high impact resistant, injection-molded, thermoplastic body with an isosceles trapezoidal structure of length, width and height not less than 15cm, 10cm and 10cm respectively and thickness not less than 1.8mm, the body structure shall be rounded at its acute angle, all the corners and edges. The plastic used for molding the Median Marker shall have a minimum Notched Izod Impact strength value of 600 J/m at room temperature, when tested in accordance with ASTM D256 and shall retain at least 70% of this value when subjected to accelerated weathering for 1000hrs as per ASTM G155 or UL746C. The logo of the manufacturer shall be embossed on either side of the body in the injection molding process. The Median Marker shall have rectangular-shaped, fluorescent yellow color retro- reflective sheeting of size not less than 8.5cm*8.5cm and with fully reflective micro prismatic cube corners as its retro-reflective elements as per IRC 67 2022 and ASTM D4956 type XI specifications reflectivity values. The retro-reflective sheeting shall be one or both sides of the Median Marker and shall be edge protected with no exposed edges which will prevent edge lifting, vandalism, sheeting damage, etc. The Median Marker shall be fixed by a combination of epoxy adhesive and grouting as per MoRTH specification 806 PWD SoR 2023-24 Volume-3, Pg No.75, It. No. 8.44
