MI4 - Dismantling steel cylinder R.C. pipes including excavation and refillingtrenches after taking out the pipes, manually/ by mechanical means breakinglead caulked joints, melting of lead and making into blocks includingstacking of pipes & lead at site to the appropriate disposal area as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. Up to 600 mm dia materials. As per Common SR 2023-24 Vol-2 pg: 192 I no: 19.45.1

MI5 - Providing and filling murrum / gravelly soil ( CNS soil ) for foundationor around pipes including cost of all materials, labour, spreading soil ilayers of 100 to 150 mm, breaking clods, watering, compaction by earthmasters to achieve density control of not less than 90 percent and allother ancillary operations etc complete with all lead and lift as per the direction of the engineer incharge ( Common SR VOL-IV PART-I(WRD) 2023-24 Item No.4.15, page 61)

MI6 - Providing and laying Ductile Iron pipes of class conforming to IS 8329:2000 with latest amendments, conveying to work site, rolling and lowering into trenches, laying true to line, level and perfect linking at joints, testing and commissioning, including loading and unloading at both destinations, cutting of pipes wherever necessary, jointing with DIspecials (excluding cost of specials) and rubber gaskets, cleaning thesocket and spigot end with soap solution, applying soft soap to the socket and spigot ends before insertion of rubber gaskets, jacking and fixingin perfect conditions etc. The cost to include soap solution, soft soap,waste etc. and giving necessary hydraulic test to the required pressureas per ISS with all lead and lifts and cost of all jointing materials. (Thecontractor will make his own arrangements for water for testing. Earthwork excavation in trenches to be measured and paid for seperately)Note: In sewerage projects for internal cement mortal lining ( CML ) ofDI pipes, if High Alumina Cement ( HAC ) as recommended in AnnexureB clause 16.3 of IS8329:2000 is considered in place of Slag or SulphateResistance Cement ( SRC ), the cost of pipes may be increased by 5-6%from the prices listed. MI7 - Refilling available earth around trenches/pipelines, cables in layers notexceeding 20 cms in depth, compacting each deposited layer by ramming afterwatering with a lead upto 50 m, and lift upto 1.5 m. Including cost of all labour complete as per specifications etc complete with all lead and lift as per the direction of the engineer incharge ( Common SR VOL-I 2023-24 Item No.1.10, page 7)

MI8 - Excavation and removal of silt and silt mixed with sand from canal bedby manual means including disposing off the same in spoil bank oron the canal embankment in layers as directed with all other ancillary operations complete with all lead and lift as per the direction of the engineer incharge (in dry condition) ( Common SR VOL-IV PART-I(WRD) 2023-24 Item No.8.24.1, page 104)

MI10 - Earth work excavation for Foundation by mechanical means for all works & depth upto 3 m, as per drawing and technical specifications, including setting out, shoring, strutting, barricading, caution lights, including dressing of excavated surfaces, disposing off or levelling the excavated earth or sorting & stacking the selected earth for reuse in a radius of 50 m and lift upto 1.5 m including cost of labour, tools, usage of machinery & other appurtenaces required to complete the work In all kinds of soils Depth upto 3 m Below LWL etc., complete with all lead and lift as per the direction of the engineer incharge (PWD SR VOL-I 2023-24 Item No.1.14.1, page 08)

MI11 - Providing new embankment abutting to existing bund to strength the existing bund using soil from approved borrow area in layers of 200 to 250 mm and compacting each layer to density control of not less than 95 percent by vibrating plate compactor or pnuematic tamper including cost of all materials, machinery, labour, picking previous layer, spreading soil in layer, breaking clods, watering & all necessary works as directed and complete as per specification. etc., complete with all lead and lifts as per the direction of the engineer incharge of work (Common SR volume-IV Part-II(MI & GWD) for the year of 2023-24 page 139 .I.No.3.7)

MI12 - Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes to water bound macadam specification includingspreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling withvibratory roller in stages to proper grade and camber, applyingand brooming requisite type of screening/ binding Materials to fillup the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compactingto the required density By Mechanical means Grading-I (63 mm to 45 mm) Using Screening Type A (13.2mm agg) .complete with all lead and lift as per the direction of the engineer incharge.(Common SR volume-III for the year of 2023-24 page 25&26 .I.No.4.14 B.i.(b)

M14 - Providing and laying insitu vibrated M-20 grade cement concrete using 40 mm down approved, clean, hard, graded aggregates for bed lining of canal including cost of all materials, machinery, labour, cleaning, batching, mixing, placing in position, levelling, vibrating, finishing, curing with all other ancillary operations complete.complete with all lead and lift as per the direction of the engineer incharge.

M15 - Providing and laying insitu vibrated M-20 grade cement concrete using 20 mm down approved, clean, hard, graded aggregates for side lining of canal including cost of all materials, machinery, labour, cleaning, batching, mixing, supports, placing in position, levelling, vibrating, finishing junction of bed and sidesto required curvature, finishing side slopes, curing with all other ancillary operations complete.complete with all lead and lift as per the direction of the engineer incharge.
