b) Sub-grade

Loosening, leveling and Compacting original ground supporting embankment to facilitate placement of first layer of embankment, scarified to a depth of 150 mm, mixed with water at OMC and then compacted by rolling so as to achieve minimum dry density as given in Table 300-2 for subgrade construction including all lead, lifts, loading, unloading, all labour, usage charges of all machinery etc., complete with all lead and lift & as directed by the Engineer in charge of work.

Construction of granular sub-base by providing close graded Material, mixing in a mechanical mix plant at OMC, carriage of mixed Material to work site, spreading in uniform layers with motor grader on prepared surface and compacting with vibratory power roller to achieve the desired density, complete as per clause 401 including protection of edges of GSB layer, cost of all materials, labour, usage charges of all machinery, lighting, guarding, barricading, maintenance of diversion road, loading & unloading all lead, lifts etc., complete with lead and lift & as directed by the Engineer in charge of work. (Compacted thickness)

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate as per table 400-12 & 400-13, to wet mix macadam specification including premixing the Material with water at OMC in mechanical mix plant carriage of mixed Material by tipper to site, laying in uniform layers in sub- base / base course on well prepared surface and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density of 98% including protection of edges of WMM layer, cost of all materials, labour, usage charges of all machinery, lighting, guarding, barricading, maintenance of diversion road, loading & unloading all lead, lifts etc., complete, with all lead and lift & as directed by the Engineer in charge of work. (Compacted thickness).

Providing and applying primer coat with SS1 bitumen emulsion complying IS-8887 on prepared surface of granular Base including clearing of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.70 kg/sqm using mechanical means.as per table-500-3, including cost of all materials, labour, usage charges of all machinery, loading & unloading etc., complete, with all lead and lift & as directed by the Engineer in charge of work.

Providing and applying tack coat with VG 10 grade bitumen using bitumen pressure distributor at the rate of 0.25 kg per sqm on the prepared granular surface cleaned with mechanical broom & dusting by air compressor and spraying including cost of all materials, labour, usage charges of all machinery, loading & unloading etc.complete, with all lead and lift & as directed by the Engineer in charge of work.

Providing and laying Dense Graded Bituminous Macadam with higher capacity batch type HMP using crushed aggregates as per table 500-7 of specified grading premixed with bituminous binder VG-30 grade paving bitumen as per clause 504.3.1 complying with IS -73-2013 of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder at 4.5% by weight of total mix and filler,transporting the hot mix to work site, laying with the hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per MoRTH specification clause no. 505 complete in all respects including cost of all materials, labour, usage charges of all machinery, all lead, lifts, loading, unloading, stacking, transporting etc complete, 50 - 75 mm compacted thickness (Grading 2) with 4.50% Bitumen using 60/70 (VG-30) as With all lead and lifts & as directed by the Engineer in charge of work.

Providing and laying Bituminous Concrete with higher capacity batch type hot mix plant using crushed aggregates as per table 500-7 of specified grading premixed with bituminous binder VG-30 grade paving bitumen as per clause 504.3.1 complying with IS-73-2013 of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder @ 5.4% of mix and filler @2% by weight of aggregate, transporting the hot mix to work site, laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per MoRTH specification clause No. 507 complete in all respects including cost of all materials, all labours, usage charges of all machinery, all lead, lifts, loading, unloading, stacking, transporting etc., complete, excluding cost of primer / tack coat. (30 - 40 mm compacted thickness). With all lead and lifts & as directed by the Engineer in charge of work.

Providing and laying of hot applied thermoplastic compound 2.5 mm thick including reflectorising glass beads at 250 gms per sqm area, thickness of 2.5 mm is exclusive of surface applied glass beads as per IRC:35. The finished surface to be level, uniform and free from streaks and holes, including, barricading, traffic diversion as per IRC-35, cleaning the surface of dirt, dust and other foriegn matter, demarcation at site, traffuc control,cost of all materials all labour, lead, lifts, loading, unloading transporting etc., complete.-5.50 kg per Sqm, 2.5 mm thick. With all lead and lifts & as directed by the Engineer in charge of work.

Supplying and fixing of molded shank Raised pavement markers/cat's Eye made of polycarbonate of the light enetering moulded body and refeltive panels with micro prismatic lens capable of providing total internal relection of the light entering the lens face and shall support a load of 16000kg tested inaccordance to ASTM D 4280TYPE H and complying to specifications of category A of MORTH Circular No RW/NH/33023/10-97 DO III Dt 11-06-1997. The height width and length should not exceed 50mm,100mm and 102+/-2mm and with minimum refelective area of 13cm2 on each side and slope to the base shall be 35+/- 5 degree. The strength of detachement of internal cylindrcal shanks,( of diameter not less than 19+/-2 mm and height not less than 30+-2mm) from the body is to be a minimum value of 500kg . Fixing will be by drilling holes on the road for the shanks to go inside, without nails and using epoxy resin based adhesive as per manufacture's recommendationand and complete as directed by the engineer. The contactor shall submit a two year warranty for satisfactory field performance including stipulated retro-reflectance of the refelcting panel, to the Engineer as per MORT&Hspecification 806. With all lead and lifts & as directed by the Engineer in charge of work.

Providing and fixing of retro- reflectorised cautionary, mandatory and informatory sign as per IRC :67 made of Class-B Type IV retro reflective sheeting fixed over 2 mm thick aluminium sheeting vide clause 801.3, 4mm thick Aluminium composite material sheet including lettering depending on the size of the sign fixed over back support frame of min 25 x 25 x 3mm Angle mounted on a mild steel circular pipe 65 NB 3.60mtrs high (min effective height 1.30 mtrs), 3.2 mm thickness firmly fixed to the ground by means of properly designed foundation with M25 grade cement concrete 45 cm x 45 cm x 60 cm, 60 cm below ground level as per approved drawing. The sign shall be maintained as per section 12 of IRC 67, as per clauses including curing, cost of all materials all labour, lead, lifts, loading, unloading transporting etc., complete.-90 cm equilateral triangleWith all lead and lifts & as directed by the Engineer in charge of work.

Direction and Place Identification Signs upto 0.9 sqm Size Board.-Providing and erecting direction and place identification retro-reflectorised sign as per IRC :67 made of high intensity grade sheeting vide clause 801.3, fixed over aluminium sheeting, 2 mm thick or Aluminum composite material sheet with overall thickness of 4mm with area not exceeding 0.9 sqm fixed over back support frame of min 35 x 35 x 3mm Angle mounted on a mild steel circular pipe 65 NB 3.20 mm thick, 3.60mtrs hight, firmly fixed to the ground by means of properly designed foundation with M25 grade cement concrete 45 x 45 x 60 cm, 60 cm below ground level as per approved drawing, including curing, cost of all materials all labour, lead, lifts, loading, unloading transporting etc., complete.With all lead and lifts & as directed by the Engineer in charge of work.

Providing and erecting Project Display board of size 1.80m verticle and 1.6m horizontal made of cold rolled coil sheet 16 gauge (1.6mm thickness) sheeting strengthened by welding to MS angle of size 35x35x5mm iron frame work on all sides, extra cross verticle angle fixed using nuts and bolts, base of board shall be cleaned, applying red oxide and black paint by sprayer on both sides of the board and all MS iron frame works, back ground of the facing side of the board painted in traffic yellow, project information written in English/Kannada/Hindi, painting letters and numerials in black, fixed on a mild steel angle iron posts 75mmx75mmx6mm, 2 Nos. firmely fixed to the ground by means of properly designed foundation with M-15 grade cement concrete 45Cmx45Cmx60Cm, 60Cm below ground level and board 2.80m from ground level ( 2 Nos of 3.80m over all length each ) as per approved drawing including necessary cost of letterings, labour, hire charges of machineries, transportation, loading and unloading etc., complete With all lead and lifts & as directed by the Engineer in charge of work.

Providing and fixing Renforced cement concrete M15 grade Kilometre stone of standard design as perIRC 8-1980 and IRC:26, excavation and fixing in position in M-15 concrete, plastering the exposed faces with CM 1:2, curing, painting and printing letters, necessary reinforcements etc,. including cost of all materials, labour, loading unloading lead lift , transporting etc., complete. With all lead and lifts & as directed by the Engineer in charge of work.. a) Ordinary Kilometre stone
