Supply, erection, electrification, & commissioning of pumping machinery for existing wet well cum pumphouse opposie to ETCM wetwell at Kolar with all lead and lift etc complete and as directed by Engineer in-charge. PUMPSETS: Supply and delivery at site brand new board approved makes sludge submersible pump coupled to Board approved makes squirrel cage induction motor of suitable HP 'F' class insulation capable of delivering 58.80 lps against 13.5 mtr head. The pumpset should operate in full range of discharge and should have the following accessories specified in the following detailed specification. the submersible sewage pump shall be monoblock type with non-clong design. the pump shall be of marks 1450 RPM. a) Parallel Operation:When parallely opertated 2 pumps should deliver a combined discharge of 117.59 lps against a total head of 14mtr The pumps should be able to pass through soft solids of 80 mm dia and capable of delivering sludge with specific gravity of 1.1 impellers should be single/double Vani non-clog type of CF 8M material and with wearing rings. The pump should be fitted with contra block cutting and tearing system with special grooving system and suction side for disposal of soft solid materials like long fiber, plastics, solid admixes, sludge etc. Maintenance free, antifriction, deep groove permanently grease filled ball bearings to take care of all the axial and radial forces at any point of operations, should be provided. The pump design should be such as to facilitate automatic installation/ removal of pump without having to enter into the sewage pit. Profile gasket should be provided in automatic coupling system to avoid metal to metal contact between the pump and delivery pipe to ensure leak proof joint. The cooling jacket shall be provided inthe pump to reduce the dead sewage volume in the sump. The mono rail trolly and chain pully block shall be provided and available at all times during the operation of the pump to ensure quick installation and removal whenever required. Material of construction: 1) PUMP CASING: The pump casing shall be CI as per IS:210 GRFG 260. The casing shall have central line discharge. 2) IMPELLER: The impeller shall be of stainless steel grade CF 8M, single/double vane non-clog design additionally a special contra block cutting and tearing system for disposal of material. 3) PUMP SHAFT: The pump shaft shall be hard chrome plate alloy steel of stainless steel SS/410 as per the manufacturers standard and shall be of one piece construction. 4) PUMP BEARING: The pump bearing shall be of antifriction type. The bearings shall be able to take normal thrust loads due to unbalanced hydralic loads on the impellers plus the weight of all the rotating parts of the pump. The pump bearings shall be designed with minimum life of 40,000 hours. The bearing shall be grease lubricated. 5) GUIDE RAIL SYSTEM: The assembly shall have pedestal bracket, delivery bend, C.I guide rail pipe of suitable size of class 'C' upper guide rail holder etc., pedestal and bracket shall provide automatic coupling between pump delivery and flange an discharge bend(standard bend or Duck bend). 6) Moisure sensor(seal moistor) shall be provided in chamber to detect the failure of the mechanical seal. The sensor will trip of moisture into the oil chamber. MECHANICAL SEAL: Double mechnaical seal shall be provided to prevent pumped liquid entering into the motor winding. The seal shall be situated in oil chamber to ensure proper lubrication. The face combination of lower mechanical seal shall be silicon carbide v/s silicon carbide and upper mechanical seal shall be carbon v/s chrome steel. 7) LIFTING CHAIN: Each pump shall be provided with carbon steel lifting chain of adequate strength. The chain shall have rings of same size as chain fixed at an interval of about 1 mtr for engaging the hook of the chain pulley block. 8) DUCK FOOT BEND: Suitable size heavy duty duck foot bend shold be bolted to the foundation of the pit by expansion bolt. The elbow should have grove to locate guide wire(chain) an the profile of the pump side flange should match with the pump. The elbow should be designed to take over the load of the pump. 9) PROFILE GASKET (Dismandling joint): Flexible pressure tightened automatic connection between pump and duck foot bend should be provided. 10) SUBMERSIBLE MOTOR CABLE: Submersible cable both for power and control shall be terminated in the pump starter panel or in the weather proof junction box if pump starter panel is situated beyond the length of the submersible cable. 11) FASTERNERS: Shall be in MS/GLUD. 12) Seals shall be silicon carbid v/s siliconcarbide and upper machanical seal shall be carbon v/s chrome steel. 13) Pump shall be epoxy painted. MOTOR: The submersible motor shall be dry, squirrel cage type suitable for 3 phase, 50 cycles, 415 volts AC supply complete confirming to ISS:325/1976 shall be of such capacity to provide under working site condition a power which is 10% more than the maximum power required by the pump. Continuous duty with class 'F' insulation. Winding of the motor shall be impregnated by resin. Motor shall have integral cable entry port better starting torque characteristics. The enclosure for motor shall be IP-68. Each phase of te motor provided with thermic switches of Bi-metalic electro-mechanical temperature detectors. The motor shall operate satisfactorily at all operating levels wetwell. The motor shall be sealed against entry of liquid being pumped by using two mechanical seals. Motor pump should have the following in built protection connections. 1) Thermistors protection connection against over heating of motor by thermister embedded in each phase. 2) Sensor monitor protection connection against entry of liquid in the oil chamber by the moisture sensor provided inside the oil chamber. 3) Reverse rotation protectionconnection device which trips the motor in case of reverse rotation due to wrong electrical connection 4) Liquid level controller to facilitate auto operation and prevent dry running of pumps. The pump unit should be preferably supplied with Ball type non-return valve, the pumpset shall be supplied along with automatic coupling bend 6 mtr and lifting chain with shakles and guide pipes bar wire of adequate length with extra tough water proof PVC sheathed water proof submersible cable of suitable capacity copper cable. Note: 1) Motor offered shall be of such capacity to provide the maximum power requirement of impeller of the pump including transmission, shaft losses with a 15% margin in the capacity of the motor when only one pump is operated in the sytem. 2) The motor shall be suitable for required output when line voltage variation is 6% - 10% and frequency variationof +/- 3% in any combinationof these voltage and frequency variation. 3) The motor should be capable of providing the required output an ambient air temperature of 45 degree centigrade. 4) The shaft head of the pump offered shold be minimum 110% and maximum 130% of the specified head. The loading for low efficient pump will be done based on each excess power consumed by over a period of 15 years when compared to the best efficient pump 5) The Board preserves the right to select any of stipulated make of pump and motor, as such tenderer should be prepard to provide any of the stipulated makes pump and motor selected by the Board. 6) The material test certificate and manufacturer's test certificate for pupmp and motor should be submitted to central office/circle office for clearnance before dispatch. Note: Submersible pumpset shold be installed in the sump and will be submerged with sludge. Hence, the pumpset should suit the above system. DUTY OF PUMPSETS: a) For average flow of 58.80 lps against total head of 13.5 mtrs, 20 HP or suitable HP with 10 M of 1 run of 10 x 1.5 sqmm copper power cable and control cable of 3 x 10 sqmm (copper ) of Board approved make with all lead and lift etc complete and as directed by Engineer in-charge.
