Part B:PART:B Erection/Installation of the equipments included in the Facilities: ERECTION OF TRANSFORMER :Construction of platform (1.5x1.5x1.2) mtr in size stone, for erection of transformers including all materials, labour.Excavation of (1.5x1.5x1) mt pit for foundation providing and laying cement concrete 1:4:8 for foundation laid in 1cm thick layers, well compacted curing etc., complete providing and construction of stone masonary 0.9m below ground level and 1.2m above ground level neatly hammer dressed in cement mortor 1:6 cutting complete providing pointing to stone masonary in cement morter 1:3 after racking joint & nisely lining curing etc., plastering the concrete surfaces in cement morter 1:4 including smooth randering curing etc., curing at every stages complete and with MS rail embeded on the top of the platform, hoisting the transformer for the erection on the above platform and erection of the transformer on the platform including the cost of all the materials required labour etc., complete as per direction of Engineer in charge 11/0.433 KV, 160 KVA transformer.

FORMATION OF TRANSFORMER SUBSTATION:The work involves Construction of platform (1.5x1.5x1.2) mtr in size stone, for erection of metering cubicle, LBS & LT feeder pillar including all materials, labour.Excavation of (1.5x1.5x1) mt pit for foundation providing and laying cement concrete 1:4:8 for foundation laid in 1cm thick layers, well compacted curing etc., complete providing and construction of stone masonary 0.9m below ground level and 1.2m above ground level neatly hammer dressed in cement mortor 1:6 cutting complete providing pointing to stone masonary in cement morter 1:3 after racking joint & nisely lining curing etc., plastering the concrete surfaces in cement morter 1:4 including smooth randering curing etc., curing at every stages complete and with MS rail embeded on the top of the platform, hoisting the panels and metering cubicle erection on the platform including the cost of all the materials required labour etc., complete. The work also includes supply and spreading of 40 mm down size jelly all round the transformer substation including erection of metering cubicle, breaker and other accessories including cost of all materials and labour required for erection of the above with all lead and lift etc., complete.

Erection of Control Panel Board and starter panel : on CC foundation including formation of CC foundation in CC 1:2:4 prop. Using all the required materials such as cement, jelly etc., complete including errection of the panel board, on CC foundation using required materials such as MS channel bolts, nuts, washers etc., complete with all lead and lift.

Erection of pumpsets: Formation of suitable block machine foundation in CC 1:2:4 confirming to the latest ISS 2974 using all the required materials such as cement, sand, jelly etc., complete including necessary earth work refilling curing etc., complete. Erection of the pumpset mounted on the common baseplate on the above foundation using the required material such as foundation bolts, key locks, self interlocking bolts, washer etc., complete levelling, aligning of the pumpsets on the foundation grounding and dynamic balancing using all the required materials including excavation for foundation making pump pits, dewatering etc., complete. The work also includes formation of suitable foundation for Vaccuum pumpsets and erection of the same etc., complete.

LAYING OF CABLE: LAYING IN TRENCHES/ TRAYS:The works shall include digging of trenches size of 0.60 Mtrs. deep & 1.0 Mtrs. wide providing sand bedding to the cables laying the cable in trench providing cable marking bricks refilling, consolidation the soil etc., complete including the cost of all the materials required for laying the cable as per IE rules labour etc., complete. 3.5 x185 sqmm 1.1 kV class

Earthing : Maintenance free earthing system to be installed for the protection including formation of suitable size pit in all soils. The earthing system shall consist of: EARTH ELECTRODE : Earth electrode shall be MS material subsequent hot dip galvanisation of minimum 250 microns / GI tubes to ensure maximum conductivity. The technology shall be either pipe in pipe or pipe in flat. The space in between shall be filled with high conductive compound which resist the corroision. The length of the electrode shall be 3 mtrs .Minimum of 50 mm dia electrode shall be provided for pipe in pipe technology. EARTH ENHANCEMENT COMPOND / Back fill compound: The compound used for backfilling the earth shall enhance the earth material conductivity . The compoundshall reduce the resistivity of the earth to less than 1 ohms. The compond shall be highly conductive and contain homogenous mixture of chemicals. It shall be environmental friendly, non corrosive, not explosive, not cause burns and irritation to eye, skin etc. The compond shall not contain bentonite, salt , charcoal and other dissolvable materials. The compound shall be insoluable in water and shall retain its moisture property uptoi the life of the electrode. The life of the electrode and pit shall not be less than 25 years without any maintainence. The quantity of compound shall not be less than 50 kgs/ pit. EARTH PIT CHAMBER: The earth pit chamber size shall be 300 mm x 300 mm x 5 mm concrete chamber with concrete slab or cover. TESTING POINT: Earth pit testing point shall be provided at the suitable location and above ground level. Testing shall be done after completion of installation. Final grid resistance of each area shall be measured and shall be within 1 ohm. NOTE:-1) All the equipments, such as switchgears, transformers lighting arrestors shall be earthed by two seperate and distinct connection as per IE rules and as required by electrical inspectorate without any extra cost.. 2) Necessary soil testing shall be carried out by the contractor at his own cost before carrying out the work. 3) Since, the earthing points of different equipments and fault level are interconnected , the contractor shall submit the calculations for no of pits required before executing the work. 4) The work also includes connecting the common point of earthing to the earth pit with necessary coupler/ Extothermic welding as per IE rules NOTE:- All the equipments, such as switchgears, transformers lighting arrestors shall be earthed by two seperate and distinct connection with the earth cover as per IE rules and as required by electrical inspectorate without any extra cost..

Supply and fixing of GI earthing strip 50mm x 6mm size for equipment earthing of transformer switch gear, meters motors lighting arrestors etc., The strips shall be laid and connected to the earth pit . The Strips shall be sleeved and protected aganist mechanical damages.

LAYING AND JOINTING OF MS PIPES AND SPECIALS: Rolling, lowering, laying true to line perfect linking at the joints and jointing of MS pipes specials including fixing of valves, guages for delivery connections of the pumps upto including delivery manifold using all the required materials such as bolts, nuts, washers, rubber packing etc., complete. The work shall include providing pipe supports, conerete chair for suction pipe in CC 1:2:4 prop., wherever necessary upto the end of the pump, using all the requied materials such as sand, cement jelly. The work shall include providing pipe supports, thrusts block in CC 1:2:4 prop., wherever necessary to the end of the delivery manifold, using all the requied materials such as sand, cement jelly including making holes in pump house for laying devliery pipes, packing of holes with CC 1:2:4 etc., complete. (all lead and lift) the works also includes construction of necessary thrust blocks required for delivery manifold arrangement. NOTE: The tenderer should furnish the layout drawing showing the position of valves, Tees, Pipes, providing for future pumpsets etc., and obtain approval from the Chief Engineer before taking up erection work.

Servicing and commissioning: The pumpsets along with all other elecrical equipments shall be serviced and commissioned in the presence of the Engineer-in-charge of work including trail running for a period of 90 days. The work shall include the following. Providing operating and maintenance manuals of the pumps and allied equipments to the operating personnel. Giving trail run of the pumpsets for a period of 90 days from the date of successful commissioning. The contractor should employ personnel to operate & maintain the pumpset and accessories during the trial run period and should train the Board/Municipal Staff to operate the pumpsets. NOTE: 1. The energy and sewage will be provided by the Board free of cost. 2. The pumpsets along with all the electrical equipments shall be commissioned only when the performance of switch gears, relays are wittnessed by the Executive Engineer in charge of the work and Asst. Executive Engineer of the Board.

CHAIN LINKED WIRE FENCING : Supply & providing chain linked wire fencing for 11 KV transformer sub-station. The chain linked fencing should be with 2"x2"x8 SWG wire welded with angle iron frames of size 2.5mx2.5m using angle of using 50x50x6mm. The frame be fixed to be supporting channel spacing at 2.5 M size 100x50mm rails transportation and labour for fixing silver painting etc., complete with door with 2.5m size at suitable place including all taxes . Chain linked fencing shall be erected upon size stone masonry structure. The work includes providing & constructing granite/trap/basalt size stone masonry (0.45m wide, for aheight of 0.30m) in foundation cement mortor 1:6 stone hammer dressed in courses not less than 20 cm high, bond stones at two m apart and over plain cement concrete of mix M15 with OPC cement @240kgs, with 40mm and down size graded granite metal coarse aggregates @0.878 cum and fine aggregates @ 0.459 cum machine mixed concrete laid in layers not exceeding 15 cms thick, well compacted, in foundation and plinth for a thickness of 0.15 cm for foundation and 0.10 for coping including cost of all materials, labour, HOM of machinery, curing etc., complete.

Cable End Seals:- Supply and fixing of 1.1 KV Indoor and outdoor type RAYCHEM/M SEAL /or any other Board approved make heat shrinkable /Push On type cable end seals with all required materials including copper lugs and terminals.,etc.,complete. Dismantling of all Existing pumpsets and delivery and suction pipes and valves:Dismantaling of existing 02 nos of HSC Pumpsets by removing the existing shafts, couplings, bearing etc.,with out damaging the pumpset and with out hampering the regular water supply distribution and removing of the existing suction pipe & Delivery pipes , valves etc including closing of holes in pump house with CC 1:2:4 etc., complete. The work also includes clearing the debris from the site and disposing off the debris with all lead and lift as per the direcion of the Engineer-in-Charge.
