The circuit shall be designed for close transition using KORNDOREER Principle and should ensure smooth change over from tap voltage to the full voltage without any momentory interruption in power supply to the motor. ' 6. The starter panel is required for installation at an altitude not exeeding 900 m above MSL and the maximum ambient air temperature of 45 degree C. ' 7. The starter panel shall be complete with all other required fitting and first fillings of oil. ' 8. The panel shall be designed to conform to the requirement of the latest IS , factory built assembly of switch gears and control gears. ' 9. The inter connections shall be done using adequate size insulated electrolytic copper strip and copper cable. '10. The Starter shall be suitable for Six starts per hour. '11. The Painting should be done using Seven tank process. 12.Paint shade should be Grey(RAL 7032) Doors should be powder coated and frame should be painted. 13. Ingress protection of IP55 with all lead and lifts complete as per specifications and directions of engineer in charge of the work.

Automatic Power factor control panel:-Supply, delivery, fixing and commissioning at site brand new Board approved make or any other make approved by the Board floor mounting, free standing, cubicle type APFC panel board unit suitable for operation on 3 phase 50 cycles 400/440 volts AC supply fitted with the following: 320 amps MCCB with fixed and moving contracts fitted with U/V release, shunt release and with suitable thermal release.- 1 No. Suitable capacity contactors with suitable capacity HRC fuses. 80 KVAR all polypropelene type capacitors for one 200HP pump out of 3 nospumpsets. The capacitor banks shall be suitable for operating pumpsets in solo or parallel operation . The total KVAR required is 240 KVAR for 3 nos200 HP pumps working at a time., the banks shall be decided after finalisation of the pumpsets. Phase indicating lamps- 1 set. Suitable protection against overload, overcurrent, over and under voltage, single phasing etc., trip indication / fault indication . Digital type Ammeter with selector switches. Digital type Voltmeter with selector switches. suitable capacity current transformers. The panel shall be adequate to handle incoming and outgoing cables.Timers, automatic powerfactor controller unit of suitable capacity shall be provided with 6 taps (contactors) which can switch on the individual bank of capacitor such that the powerfactor shall not be less than 0.9 lag. The connection of the APF panel shall be such that when working on D.G set, the supply to this panel shall be switched off.Erection of APFC Panel: on CC foundation including formation of CC foundation in CC 1:2:4 prop. Using all the required materials such as cement, jelly etc., complete including errection of the panel board, on CC foundation using required materials such as MS channel bolts, nuts, washers etc., with all lead and lifts complete as per specifications and directions of engineer in charge of the work.
