Supply, Installation / Erection, Testing & Commissioning of following 66kV Current Transformers, Porcelain Clad, Oil-filled condenser type, Live Tank design, Single Phase, and upright mounting on steel structures. Bushings shall be provided with grading rings and arcing horns. Insulators/Bushings shall conform to applicable standards and shall be made of homogenous vitreous porcelain, the glazing of which shall be of uniform brown or dark brown color. CTs shall be hermetically sealed and nitrogen cushion shall be provided. Each CT shall be equipped with an over voltage protective device to limit the voltage developed across the secondary terminals to a safe value not exceeding 3 kV. The protective device shall not require attention after it has operated and shall not interfere with the proper operation of relays or instruments connected to the secondary circuits. In the case of multi-core CTs, it shall be possible to adjust the tap settings on any core independent of the setting on the other cores, for which purpose these tapping’s will have to be provided on the secondary windings. All CT cores shall be of low reactance type. In case of multi ratio CTs, the minimum specified requirements in respect of VA, accuracy and Knee Point Voltage and maximum secondary resistance specified shall be met at all taps. The insulation of the instrument transformer shall be so designed that the internal insulation shall have higher electrical withstand capability than the external insulation. Current transformers shall be given tropicalised treatment for satisfactory operation in hot and humid climate. The rate should include supply of essential spares recommended by OEM for trouble free operation for a period of three years. The CT shall meet the technical requirements & drawing (Drawing No.PCPL-1909-4-SLD-001) complete and as directed by EIC.

Supply, Installation / Erection, Testing & Commissioning of Clamps & Connectors as per the technical requirements complete and as directed by EIC. All power clamps and connectors shall conform to IS: 5561 & NEMA CC1. Each equipment shall be supplied with the necessary terminals and connectors, as required by the ultimate design for the particular installation. The conductor terminations of equipment shall be either expansion, sliding or rigid type. The requirement regarding external corona and RIV as specified for any equipment shall include its terminal fittings and the equipment shall be factory tested with the connectors in position. If corona rings are required to meet these requirements they shall be considered as part of that equipment and included in the scope of work. All casting shall be free from blow holes, Surface blisters, cracks and cavities. All sharp edges and corners shall be blurred and rounded off. Flexible connectors, braids or laminated straps made for the terminal clamps for bus posts shall be suitable for both expansion or through (flexed/sliding) type connection as required. In all the cases the clamp height (top of the mounting pad to centre line of the tube) should be same. Clamp shall be designed to carry the same current as the conductor and the temperature rise shall be equal or less than that of the conductor at the specified ambient temperature. The rated current for which the clamp/connector is designed with respect to the specified reference ambient temperature, shall also be indelibly marked on each component of the clamp/ connector, except on the hardware. OIL FILLED POWER TRANSFORMER: Design, Supply, Installation / Erection, Testing & Commissioning of 66/11.6kV, Delta/Star, Outdoor type, 12.5MVA Power Transformer suitable for 3-Phase, 4 Wire, 50Hz AC supply & 325kVp BIL. The transformer shall be copper wound having oil & air cooled system. The Vector group shall be Dyn11 with neutral brought from HV and LV for earthing. The neutral from LV side shall be brought out to a cable box for terminating the cable from NGR. On Load tap changing arrangements on HV side. The OLTC gear shall be designed to complete successfully tap changes for the maximum current to which transformer can be loaded i.e., 150% of the rated current. The tap changer shall be provided for variation of HV voltage with a tap setting of (+) 5% and (-) 15% at 66kV side of each 1.25% steps which shall be operated from either OLTC or Remote control equipment.OLTC shall have AVR and master slave relay for parallel operation.The remote control equipment shall be enclosed in an indoor sheet cubicle to be located in control room. The impedance of transformer shall be 15% on 50MVA base without negative tolerance. The transformer shall be suitable for continuous rating for full load. The temperature rise shall not exceed 45°C in oil and 50°C by resistance in winding. Transformer shall operate under naturally cooled (ONAN) condition up to specific load, beyond this it shall be operated though forced cooling (ONAF). The cooler units shall be 2x50% capacity and each 50% cooler shall have one standby fan & one extra radiator. The cooler control cabinet shall have two (2) sections. One section shall have the control equipment exclusively meant for cooler control The other section shall house the temperature indicators, auxiliary CT’s and the terminal boards meant for termination of various alarm and trip contacts as well as various CT secondaries. The Transformer shall be provided with suitable devices to monitor temperature & pressure. Automatic operation control (Switching in and out) of fans/ pumps shall be provided (with temperature change) from contacts of winding temperature indicator. The supplier shall recommend the setting of WTI for automatic changeover of cooler control from ONAN to ONAF. The setting shall be such that hunting i.e., frequent start stop operations for small temperature differential do not occur. Suitable manual control facility for cooler fans and oil pumps with manual / automatic selector switches and push buttons shall be provided. The transformer shall be provided with Online DGA for continuous monitoring of moisture & shall be suitable for NIFPS system. The neutral terminal of the star connected winding shall be brought to the ground through externally installed NCT by a copper flat of size minimum 50 x 8 mm which shall be supported on. Mounting structure of NCT, by porcelain insulators. The NCT will be installed at a distance of about 2 Mts. from the transformer and the live point of the NCT will be the same as that of Neutral bushing. The transformer shall be suitable for controlling & monitoring from OLTC / RTCC / SCADA. Unloading from trailer on to the plinth. Complete as per technical requirements and as directed by EIC. NOTE: The bidder has to specify the losses as called for in the technical specifications.Transformer cost shall inlcude filtration and testing of oil at the time of installation and testing and commissioning of transformer.The cost shall include all type tests and special tests as per Cl. 20 of section no.6.4.1 as per IS.

Each simplex panel shall have suitable hinged doors at the back. The lockable type hinged doors shall be provided with 3-point locks operated by suitable handle. Bottom plates of the panels shall be fitted with removable gland plates to allow cable entries from the bottom. Gland plates shall be suitable for fixing the cable glands at an elevated height of at least 100 mm above the ground level. Terminal Connectors and Test terminal blocks for cables shall be fixed at an elevated height of at least 200 mm above the Bottom plate. The IEDs shall provide all station level functions regarding control, monitoring and protection, inputs for status indication and outputs for commands. Armouring shall be arranged over the core and it shall be of non-magnetic material. The material for the Armouring shall be as per relevant ISS.
