Cleaning the expansion Joints, Providing and laying expansion joint system for 50mm width, on the inside RCC walls and Raft Floor as per the technical specifcations and manufacturer's methodology:
The surface on the exposed side of the joint and inside the joint shall be cleaned thoroughly to remove the existing boards and sealants, all loose particles, oil, dirt etc by mechanical grinding. Any uneven projections shall be grinded and levelled. Damaged edges along the length of the joints shall be prepared with Polymer Modified Mortar & free flow micro concrete. Fix masking tape on both sides 40 -50 mm away from the joint to provide a neat edge. Supreme HD100 board or equivalent shall be cut into the required depth and shall be pushed inside the expansion joint gap. The Backer rod of suitable dia shall be placed into the expansion joint leaving space for polysulphide sealant. One coat of sealant primer shall be applied on the sides of the expansion joint. Sika poly sulphide gun grade sealant or equivalent shall be mixed as per manufacturer specifications and applied into the expansion joint groove and finished smoothly. The sealant shall be allowed to set for 24 hours. Apply Sikadur Combiflex Tape adhesive or equivalent on the prepared surface for a thickness of 2 mm on sides of the joint. The adhesive shall be extended 5 mm from the edge of the strip. Sikadur Combiflex Tape or equivalent shall be firmly fixed to the applied adhesive with the divider tape facing up. The divider tape shall be aligned in line of the expansion joint. Apply Sikadur Combiflex Tape adhesive or equivalent over the Sikadur Combiflex Tape or equivalent to a thickness of 2 mm as an over-coating and remove the divider tape immediately. The sika Dur combi flex or equivalent shall be allowed to cure for 24 hours. Protecting the treated joints during surface treatments. After the application of surface treatments and Epoxy lining, Providing and again applying the Gun grade poly sulphide sealant on the finished epoxy lined joints up to 25mm depth after filling the gap using a baker rod below the sealant. The payment includes all the materials involved in the aforementioned procedure including disposal of the old materials at the designated locations inside GMPL plant, labour, tools, scaffolding, plants as approved by the Engineer-in-charge etc. The payment shall be done to the expansaion joint length where all the above procedure is executed by the authorised applicator of the approved make and the application procedure is followed as per the approved make manufacturer's specifications

The payment includes all the materials involved in the aforementioned procedure, labour, tools, scaffolding, plants as approved by the Engineer-in-charge etc. Payment shall be made according to surface preparation area for which the above operations are followed and is inclusive of scaffolding charges.

Providing and Fixing Injection ports/nozzles in staggered manner on the preapared honeycombed concrete areas at @ 500mm spacing after drilling holes upto minimum 200 depth, to facilitate injecting grout, and fill the surrounding groove of holes using Polymer Modified Mortar or Renderoc Plug or equivalent and carrying out injection/pressure grouting using slurry cement in prefixed nozzles/ports, mixed with Micro fine cementations compound cebex 100 or equivalent at a dosage of 225 gram/50 Kg of cement and adding water as per manufacturer's specifications. The grouting shall be executed till no further grout is accepted by ports using grout pump etc. complete. The payment includes all the materials involved in the aforementioned procedure, labour, tools, scaffolding, plants as approved by the Engineer-in-charge etc. Payment shall be made according to the no of 50 Kg bags of cement used. Fixing the sluice gates along with all the required accessrories, at the existing concrete surface opening of 1 - 2.5 Sqm, after transporting it from anywhere inside the plant, to the required location, preparing the concrete surface for the installation of the sluice gate as per the site requirements, fixing with Chemical/Mechanical Heavy Duty Epoxy Injection Anchor bolts of Hilti or equivalant, as per the technical specifications of the manufacturer & directions of the EIC. Installation drawings & Fixing methodology shall be submitted by the contractor. The payment includes supply and fixing all the required accesssories, anchor bolts, all the consumables, materials, drawings involved in the aforementioned procedure, labour, tools, fuel, crane for fixing sluice gate, scaffolding, plants as approved by the Engineer-in-charge etc.

Providing Electricity through portable Diesel Generator of required rating, running capacity, including cables, systems, panels for distribution of power, poles, and all the required electrical accessories, arrangements, for the installation of the sluice gates at the designated openings as directed by the EIC. Supply & Fixing Pre-painted Trapezoidal profiled sheeting 1000-1020 mm cover width, 28 -30 mm high crests manufactured out of 0.50 mm TCT hi-tensile pre-painted Zincalume /Galvalume steel (AZ-150 gsm. The sheet shall have wide pans with stiffening ribs for effective water shedding and special male/female ends with full return legs on side laps for purlin support.
