Item code 1 - ROUTE VERIFICATION: Route verification survey. Verification survey of the entire route on LHS and RHS of all roads to confirm the proposed position of the ducts and access chambers. Drawings will be shared to the successful bidder.

Item code 2 - WARNING TAPES: Supply and laying of warning tape along work execution locations and corridors and as directed by the EIC. Warning Tape: This will provide safety to people working on or roads and other construction sites and makes it very noticeable to warn passersby about construction /repair activity). The tape must be made of polyethylene. The thickness of the tape must be at least 200 microns. The width must be at least 150 mm. Tape to be used should be White and Red coloured inscribed with “Caution” or “Work in Progress” or “Men at Work” or “Danger” or combination of these wordings. These tapes must be weather resistant and thick enough to hold in its place whenever they are tied or tacked to poles or trees.

Item code 3 - HDD AND HDPE DUCTS: Supply and installation of HDPE PLD ducts, HDD trenching and pulling of one bunch of 7nos of HDPE PLD ducts each on LHS (Left Hand Side) and one bunch of 7nos on RHS (Right Hand Side) of the roads by contractor owned machines. Contractor shall supply all consumables and labour including accessory work viz. making of termination pits, disposal of excess earth material fixing of duct couplers & end caps etc. for completing the work. Contractor shall restore all the excavated surfaces /entry pit /exit pit /extra pits (that may be required for connectivity while drilling) using the same type of surface material that was originally in place viz., Bitumen /tiles /concrete etc., as per the site condition. The HDPE PLD ducts should have an inner diameter of 33mm and an outer diameter of 40mm.The HDPE PLD ducts should consist of 2 concentric layers, the outer and inner layer co-extruded with HDPE for permanent lubricant. The HDPE PLD ducts must be in 7 different colors Violet, Blue, Green, Yellow, Orange, Red and Grey. The ducts must be printed on the outer surface with the name as ELCITA along with month and year of manufacture and measurement. The color of the printing has to be in contrast to the duct color so that the print is clearly visible. The HDPE PLD ducts should conform to design as set by IS: 7328-2020. (This standard specifies the manufacturing, chemical and physical requirements and testing of polyethylene material for moulding and extrusion). IS 7328 specifies the quality parameters or characteristics of the polyethylene material for moulding and extrusion. Pressure Rating (PN Class): PN10 (pressure 10 bar or 1000kPa or 145.038 lbs/sq.inch)Material Grade: PE- 80 The HDPE PLD Duct should bear ISI/BIS Certification Mark.
