"Operation and maintenance of the scheme,2024-25 which includes, providing technical staff(Engineer)-1, valveman-7, operators-6, Helpers-3, Electrician/Mechanic-1 and others who are required to run the system in complete manner and providing all materials & chemcials required, for operation of jack wells / WTP 1. Regular maintenance of civil structures like Jackwells / Floating plat form, WTP, PWS, Master balancing tank, pump house and all other civil structures. The maintenance consists of all kinds of repairs to damaged structures, cleaning and washing, o 2. Repairs and replacement of damaged pipe line, valves etc.if found necessary. It includes cost of materials and labour charges and also monitoring of the systems. The maintenance involves raw water rising main, gravity mains, pure water rising mains 3. Operation and maintenance of water treatment plant including dosing of required quantity of alum ,chlorine and other chemicals including replacement of sand / filter media as required as per standard established norms from time to time. Maintaining 4. Operation and maintenance of all kinds of pumping machinery, other mechanical components of this scheme including electrical maintenance covering all repairs / replacement of transformers / Electrical cable / switch board / replacement of burnt parts f All the above repairs & maintenace will be carried out as per the direction of the Engineer-in-charge for satisfactory functioning of the scheme to provide designed LPCD of drinking water to all the habitatants of the Project villages. Note: Helpers / Watchman / Valve man / Technical staff made available round the clock for maintenance period at Jackwell, WTP and Pure water Sump points. 1. The G.P. or VWSC / concerned Section Officer of the Project should certify the satisfactory functioning of the scheme and based on this payments will be made to the contractor 2. The contactor should maintain a Log Book on the working of pumping machinery at Jackwell, WTP etc. II) 2nd year Maintenance complete with all leads & lifts, loading and unloading, labours, materials, hire charges of all machineries & equipments and all incidental charges, etc., complete as directed by the Engineer-in-charge of the work." For MVS Mangaluru and other 2 villages TQ Yelburaga (Excluding Energy Charges)
