OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE for 2nd year :- Operation and maintenance of the scheme as per TOR which includes providing sufficeient technical staff, valve man, watchmen,operators, Electrican and others who are required to run the system in complete manner and providing all materials & chemicals required for operation of Raw water pumping machinery & pumping machinery at WTP also pumping machinery at intermediate sump to villages (Honnayakanahalli, Koilaragatti, Koilaragatti Thanda, Kaganuru, Dasarahalli Thanda Villages ) Jack wells/WTP/pipe line repair works. '1.Regular maintenance of civil structures like jack well approach bridge Aerator setting tank, Raw water blancing tank, RSF/SSF, pure water sump , pump house MBT & existing in village O.H.T. and all other civil structure . The maintainance consist of all kinds of repair to demaged structure cleaning & washing and painting for civil structures are in a year. All the in frastrure must be maintained in good working condition through out the year & repairs and replacement of damaged pipe line valves etc., if found necessary in includes cost of materials and labour charges and also monitoring of the systems the maintainance involves raw water raising main, Gravity mains, pure water rising mains, maintaing the required discharge the quantum at water in each pipe (2) Operation and maintainance of water treatment plant inlcuding dosing of required quantity of Alum, chlorine and other required necessary chemicals including replacement of sand/filter edia as required as per standard of established norms from time to time maintainings the quality of water as per guidelines CPHEEO manual and ISI specification including cost of testing of water @ laboratory twice in a month. Operation & maintainance of all kinds of pumping machinary other chemical component of this scheme including Electrical maintainance covering all repairs replacement of Electrical cable / switch board replacement of bill parts of machinary all the above repir & maintainance will be carried out as per the direction of the Engineer-in-charge for satisfactory functioning of the scheme to provide designed discharge for drinking water to all the habitatants of the project villages Note : Helper/watchman/valveman / Electrician/ Technical staff made available round the clock for maintainance period @ jack well, WTP, and Pure water point (1) The G.P. or VWSC/Concerned section officer of the project should certify the satisfactory functing of the scheme and basedon this payment will be made to the contractor (2) The contractor should maintain a log book on the working of pumping machinery at jack well, WTP etc., for payment will be made by the Engineer-in-charge for satisfactary report of every month end (The G.P. secretary and SO incharges of WSS should give satisfactary report) subject to condition appended in TOR.
