OPERATION AND MAINTAINANCE FOR THE FIRST YEAR : Operation and Maintainance of the Scheme as per TOR which includes providing sufficient technical staff valve man, Operators, Electrican and Others who are required to run the system in complete manner and providing all materials chemicals required for operation of Jack wells/WTP/Pipe line repair Works. (1) Regular Maintainance of Civil Sturctures like Jack well/ Setting tank, Raw water Blacing tank, S.S.F Pure water Sump, Pump house MBT/ZBT & all Other Civil Structure. The Maintainance consist of all kinds of repair to damaged structures cleaning & washing and painting for civil structures once in a year all the in frastructure must be maintained in good working condition through out the year so as to ensure uninterupted water supply to all the habitation through out the year. (2) Repairs and replacement of damaged pipe line valves etc. if found necessary it includes cost of materials and labour Charges and also monitoring of the systems the maintainance involves Raw water Rising main, Gravity Mains, Pure water rising mains, maintaining the required discharge the quantum of water in each pipe. (3) Operation and Maintainance of Water Treatment plant including dosing of required quantity of Alum, Chlorine and Other required necessary chemicals including replacement of sand/filter media as required as per standard of Established norms from time to time. maintainance the quality of water as per the guidelines CPHEEO Manual and ISI Specifications including cost of testing of water @ laboratary twice in a month. (4) Operation and Maintainance of all Kinds of Pumping Machinary Other Mechanical Componente of this scheme including Electrical Maintainance Covering all repairs/ Replacement of Electaical Cable/ Switch Board/ Replacement of burnt parts of Machinary all the Above repair & Maintainance will be carried out as per the Direction of the Engineer-in Charges for Satisfactary functining of the Scheme to Provide designed discharge (LPCD) of Drinking water to all the habitatants of the Project Villages. Note: Helpers/Watchman/Valve man/Electrician/Technical Staff made available round the clock for Maintainance period @ Jack well, WTP, and pure water sump points. (1) The G.P or VWSC/ Concerned AEE of the Project Should Certify the Satisfactory functioning of the scheme and based on this payment will be made to the Contractor (2) The Contractor Should Maintain a Log Book on the Working of pumping Machinery @ jack well, WTP etc. the Payment will be made by the Engineer-in Charges for Satisfactary report of every month end (The GP Secretary and S/o Incharge Of W.S.S Should give Satisfactary report) subject to Condition appended in TOR etc., complete with all lead and lift loading and unloading as directed by the Engineer in-charge of the work.
