Approved Rate - The supply, installation, and commissioning of LED backlit signage involves a durable, high-impact resistant, injection-molded thermoplastic body with an equilateral pentagonal shape, measuring no less than 20 inches in length and 34 inches in breadth, with a thickness of at least 2 inches. The body's acute angles, corners, and edges should be rounded. The plastic for the LED signage must have a minimum Notched Izod Impact strength of 600 J/m at room temperature, as per ASTM D256 standards, and maintain at least 70% of this value after 1000 hours of accelerated weathering according to ASTM G155 or UL746C. The images and letters on the LED backlit signage should be embossed on both sides during the injection molding process, following the Engineer-In-Charge's directions. The LEDs should meet a color temperature of 6500K, a color rendering index (CRI) greater than 70%, an efficacy greater than 80 lumens per watt, a lifespan exceeding 25,000 burning hours, and compliance with IS 10322/IEC 60598, LM 79, and LM 80 standards. The LEDs are to be powered by a high-frequency electronic driver that is not integrated, with a power factor (PF) greater than 0.95, power loss less than 5% of the lamp wattage, and integrated short circuit and open circuit protection, with total harmonic distortion (THD) less than 20%, and a lifespan as per LM 79. The operating input voltage range should be 130 to 275 V. The product must be BIS approved and come with a 2-year warranty against manufacturing defects under standard electrical conditions. The completed LED backlit signage is to be mounted using two 10-foot-long, 2-inch-diameter stainless steel hollow pipes, secured with a combination of epoxy adhesive and grouting as per MoRTH specification 806, and set in a concrete block measuring 60 cm x 60 cm x 75 cm, which includes excavation, refilling, transportation, and labor costs, as directed by the Engineer-In-Charge and according to MoRTH specification 804.
