1016 - Earthing: Supplying , fixing and wiring earth electrode for grounding conduits, IC cutouts and other equipments on the meter board using 40 mm dia 2.90 mm thick G.I Pipe 2.50 Mtrs Long Burried in a pit. The pit should be filled up with equal proportion of salt and charcoal 150mm all around the pipe to complete depth. The connecton from the pipe to the conduits. etc., is to be established through G.I wire of sizes as per clause ISI Specification 7.3.3 of IS 732 using 12mm bolts, nuts washers and check nuts etc., the pipe shall have 16 throuhg holes of 12mm dia. complete as per specification and work shall be carried out as directed by engineer incharge of the work.
