COMBINED ENERGY METER AND CONTROL PANEL BOARD UNIT OUTDOOR TYPE: Supply and Delivery at site brand new combined energy meter-cum-control panel board unit of size 1200x600x350mm minimum mechanically strong vermin and water proof. The unit shall have two detachable doors suitable for operation on 3 ph, 50 Hz, 380/440 volts, A.C. Supply with spring loaded latch, locking device with a key ribs should be provided nside the door, canopy apron and louvers ventilators shall be provided. The combined energy meter-cum-control panel board unit suitable for operation on 3 ph, 50 Hz, 380/40 volts, AC supply shall be consists of the following:- (Mandya Division Store Issue rate) NOTE: 1) Provision shall be made in the panel board for mounting capacitor upto 12 KVAR capacity 2) The panel board shall be complete with all the required fittings.3) The panel board is required for out door installation in the open field. 4) The box shall be provided with earthing and GI earth strip of size 25x3mm, 200mm long with 6 holes provided for earthing terminals. All the individual leads shall be terminated on the earth strip by strip by suitable terminator. 5) The unit shall be fabricated using 16 SWG sheet steel and mounted on a pedestal fabricated using 50x50x6mm size angle iron. 6) The internal wiring of the panel board wiring shall be done using 1.1 KV grade copper conductor PVC insulated cable confirming to the latest IS 694. 7) The panel shall be painted with two coats of anticorrosive primer and one coat of weather proof synthetic enamel ash grey shade paint. 8) The capacity of motor control switch shall be as under:- a) Minimum 16 amps capacity for pumpsets upto 5 HP. "A) Panel board for submersible pumpsets upto 6.5 HP with DOL.

Energy meter board with provision for mounting 3 ph, 4 wire meter shall be fitted with the following accessories: :a) Supply and fixing polished wood board made of not less than 15mm thick plank on both sides of not more than 2 pieces and fixing the same to the wall using tapered inverted wooden plugs, screws. 20"x20"x2.5" (MCSR Ele. 2014-15; P-44, I-6.6.6)

b) Supplying and fixing of Porcelain fuse channel with cut out on existing wooden/panel using necessary nuts, bolts and washers. 16A (MCSR Ele. 2014-15; P-44, I-6.7.1)

Supply and fixing of Modular MCB (Miniature circuit breaker) Devices(Tripper) with breaking capacity of 6KA. TP 16-32 Amps. (MCSR Ele. 2014-15; P-50, I-6.44.4)

b) Control panel for control of submersible pumpsets shall be fitted with the following:- 1 No Triple pole power heavy duty rotary type motor control switch. 1 No Tripple pole fuse base with suitable capacity HRC fuses. 1 No 72mm dia circul ar pattern projection panel mounting type suitable sealed moving iron ammeters with three way and off selector switch. 1 No 72mm circular pattern projection panel mounting type 0 to 500 volts moving iron volt meter with three way on and off selector switch. 1 Set of phase indicating lamps filament type of low watt consumption provided with series resistors wherever necessary and with translucent lamp covers. 1 No current sensing type single phase preventor cum phase sequence relay. 1 No push button operated fully automatic air break contactor operated direct on line starter with thermal over load relay, in sheet steel housing for pumpsets upto 5 HP (with one year guarantee) (PREDSR 2012-13; P-54, I-10.3.3).

MAIN CONNECTIONS: Supplying of 1.1 KV LT UG cable having aluminium conductor PVC insluated, extruded innder sheathed, galvanised, steel strip (except 2C x 10 sqmm wire armoured) confirming to IS 3975:1990 (No of strips indicated in GTP) and extruded PVC outer sheathed armoured cable with IS 1554 part-I: 1998 and confirming to GTP of Group-A (MCSR Ele. 2014-15; P-55, I-7.4.2) 1) 4 x 10 sqmm

LAYING OF MAIN CABLE: i) Labour charges for laying of 1.1 KV class UG cable in existing trench in G.I.Pipe/stone ware pipe/on wall/ on pole as required. (MCSR Ele. 2014-15; P-61, I-7.8.1)

POT HEAD: Supplying and fixing L.T. cast iron pot heads suitable for 1.1 KV class UG cable filled 'with necessary bitumen/insulating compound completes with terminals, clamps, bolts, nuts, washers etc., for the following size of cable. 1x4 10sqmm (MCSR Ele. 2014-15; P-62, I-7.13.1)

EARTHING: Supplying, fixing, wiring, earth electrode for grounding conduits, I.C. cutouts and other equipments on the meter board using 40mm dia 2.90mm thick GI pipe 2.5 mtr long buried in a pit. The pit should be filled with equal proprotion of salt and charcoal 150mm alround the pipe to complete depth. The connection from the pipe to the conduit etc, is to be established through GI wire of size as per ISI specification 7.3.3. of IS 732 using 12mm dia bolts, nuts, washers and checknuts etc, the pipe shall have 16 through holes of 122 mm dia.
