Point Wiring:

Providing and Fixing with 2 No’s of 6A socket outlet with 2 No’s of 6A switch & front plate at one place First point and looping switch to sockets will be 2 No. of 2.5 sq.mm wires along with 1 No. of 2.5 sq.mm insulated earth wire in 6 modular switch/socket boxes and accessories as per functional requirement." Note: 1Nos. 6 A Switch and 1Nos. 6 A Socket will be considered as 1 Points. Note: 1. Connections shall be done with crimped-type tinned copper lugs & washers. 2. All switches & socket outlets shall be as per preferred makes. 3. All sample boxes with accessories/ luminaires shall be approved by the Department. 4. All 6 A socket outlets shall be with 3 pin type 5. MS boxes other than switch boxes & socket outlet boxes shall be fabricated out of minimum 1.5mm thick MS sheet duly painted with red oxide primer & 2 coats of epoxy paint. 6. Minimum size of the FRLS insulated copper earth continuity wire shall be 2.5 sq.mm. 7. The colour shade of switches shall be white. For socket outlet points/ switch boards on normal power supply, the cover plate shall be white/ off white color, graphite grey (RAL 7024) or other shade as per instruction of EIC, for socket outlet points/ switch boards on DG power supply. 8. The scope also includes supply of modular blanking plates wherever required. 9. The maximum permissible number of FRLS insulated wires through PVC/ MS conduits shall be as per technical specifications 10. The point wiring shall generally be concealed type only, except in lift shaft/ Elect. Shaft/ Basement areas/ in RCC retaining wall/ in dry well/ above false ceiling & wherever concealed wiring is not feasible, as per instructions of E.I.C 11. Grouping of the Back box, Face plate for the switches & sockets should be as per the functional requirement as approved by E-I-C. 12. UPS power sockets, Switch & Face plate are grey and raw power sockets, Switch & Face plate are white colour. 13. 6 A SP switches should be similar to theLegrand catalogue 573400 or equivalent. 14. 6 A socket shall be similar to Legrand catalogue 5734 24 or equivalent. 15. Blanking Plate needs to be fixed on an empty place in the switch, similar to the Legrand catalogue 5734 49 or equivalent. 16. Metal Flush box should be similar to the Legrand 689007-12 or equivalent. 17. Front plate with white or Pearl Aluminum whichever is applicable at UPS and raw power supply should be similar to Legrand Catalogue no. 575700/10/20/30/40/50/60/70 to 575790 or equivalent and 575701/11/21/31/41/51/61/71/81/91

Submain Wiring: Supply, installation testing & commissioning of 1100 V FRLS grade PVC insulated multi-stranded copper conductor wires of the following sizes with necessary leads at both sides in existing floor raceway/ 25 mm/ 40mm Dia existing PVC (HMS) conduit concealed in wall/ beam/ slab/ column or on the surface of wall/ beam/ slab/ column through junction boxes as per site requirement, from DB to individual Switch boxes, switch box to switch box or wherever necessary functionally required including connection with copper lugs etc. as per specifications and as per the instruction of Engineer-in-charge. 1. 1 no. 2.5 sq.mm for Phase + 1 no. 2.5 sq mm for neutral + 1 no. 2.5 sq mm for the earth, PVC insulated FRLS copper conductor in 25 mm Dia in existing PVC conduit, cable manager (HMS variety). Note: 1. Connections shall be done with crimped-type tinned copper lugs. 2. D.B s will be measured and paid under relevant items. 3. Rate shall not be inclusive of PVC HMS conduit, raceway, junction box." 4. FRLS wire shall be similar to Polycab, Finolex, Havells, RR Kabel
