The plaster shall be trowelled hard and tight forcing it into joints to obtain a good bond and surface rubbed smooth with a plaster’s trowel complete as per specification and IS 2394 (1984). Curing shall be started 24 hrs after finishing the plaster. The plaster shall be kept wet for a period of 7 days etc complete as per direction of the Engineer in charge of the work.

code22 - Stone cleaning specification :Cleaning unpolished granite surface by application of Proven, Readily Biodegradable, VOC free, stabilised, Non ilutable, Water Base & Ready to use (RTU) liquid chemical formulationwith no contact time restriction over the heavily soiled unpolished granitestone surface using a 30 psi spraying equipment / Roller / Brush spreading &thoroughly wetting the chemical @ minimum 0.25 ltr to cover 1sq.mtr on thesurface to be treated. Allow the penetration & chemical reaction time for a minimum of 24 hrs time. The surface is then low pressure water rinsed withrotary nozzle @ 700 psi after scrubbing the surface till the organic &inorganic contamination, dirt, hydro-carbon soils, algae & rust stains fromboth the surface & pore of the substrate is completely removed, the stone isreturned to its natural colour & permeability restored. The formulation beingused should be free from corrosive acids such as Hydrochloric or Muriaticacid, Hydrochloric acid, caustics or Sodium Hydroxide, bleach or sodiumHypochlorite, abrasives and petroleum distillates. No free Acids or Alkalis tobe used. The process should include all chemical materials, labour,application tools, spraying equipment, Low pressure washer, safetyprocedures, hand gloves, face shields, goggles, protective wear clothing,scaffolding & working platform, lead & lift, transportation, all incidentalcharges etc., complete as per the directions of the Engineer-in-charge of the work.

After completion of brick masonry work of Gopura structure. (Excluding brick masonry work) Structures like sculptures, ornamenal flower, stucoo figures, small domes of different sizes pillars are to be designed and these structures has to be finished by doing cornice work in lime mortar 1:3, necessary formwork, scaffolding has to be provided in such a manner by giving sufficient space for easy movement of pilgrims, for conveyence of construction materials from ground level up to the Gopura top, and also making provision for easy approch for inspection by the higher Authorities and officer in charge of work.
