Providing and fixing illuminated signs including all operations from fabrication to installation all complete as per relevant drawings, technical specifications, signage schedule etc complete all as specified as under. Sign Box: The sign box 110 mm deep shall be fabricated out of 1.6 mm thick CRCA MS sheet and reinforced with spot welded inverted hat section for entire length at top and bottom and connected with couple of ties at a max spacing of 750 mm. Parts will be laser cut blanks bent and assembled with spot and CO2 welding. Joints/welds shall be minimized on account of continuous channel bent at corners facilitating maximum dimensional accuracy and repeatability. Sign box shall be provided with a ventilation fixture with Mesh from inside for ventilation confirming to IP54. Complete sign box including channel supports are to be powder coated to match GreyG1. Sign box flange receiving the sign face shall be provided with slots to receive the screws to fix the sign frame. Sign panel - Both faces: Providing and fixing sign panel on 1 side of sign box made out of 1.6 mm thick CRCA MS sheet frame fabricated to required size and shape, the frame shall be welded on 2 bottom corners making a 'L' and top part of frame fixed at site after inserting the sign face, complete frame shall be powder coated on all faces to match GreyG2. Sign face shall be made in 8 mm thick Opal white acrylic (as specified) having graphics pasted in Plotter cut Block out vinyl pasted over a translucent white vinyl and entire panel covered with a protective over laminate. The films to wrap around the edge of the acrylic to a distance of 25 mm on the back side. The Plotter cut block out vinyl shall match the specified colour (colour Pantone 2766 and Pantone 667C) and of specified make duly approved by the Engineer-in-Charge. The 'L' frame to be made out of single sheets in continuous length without any joints and fixed to sign using cross headed M4 screws the top member of frame shall be fixed using cross headed M4 screws to allow opening the frame for servicing lights. Powder coating shall be done on all internal as well as external surfaces. Illumination: Providing LED based lights having min 25 mm overlap and placed at top and bottom of sign for the entire length as per the location specified in drawing. The continuous illumination along the length shall be achieved by using a combination of 2 ft. & 4ft. LED tube light fixture of reputed make as approved by Engineer for achieving 4000 lm uniformly as required and provided with specified electronic drivers or/and equivalent make as approved by engineer-in-charge. The light fixture shall be fixed using screws and fastners on the provided stiffner channel inside the sign box. Cost to include all internal connections and external wiring for connecting to a nearest point left by the other contractor, end connectors, wire harnesses, groumets and snaps and clips for fixing the LED lights. Complete mounting frame including channel supports are to be Powder Coated to match GreyG2 of approved make and duly approved by Engineer-in-Charge. Sign panel - Both faces: Providing and fixing sign face panels on either side of mounting frame made out of 4 mm thick Aluminium composite sheet white colour (as specified) folded and riveted over a frame fabricated in 25x25x2 mm MS square Hollow section to required size and shape, with welded Gusset plates in 2 mm thick MS Sheet 100 mm long at 300 mm c/c along the perimeter of frame the frame matching the gussets on mounting frame, complete frame shall be Powder coated on all faces to match GreyG2 before receiving the folded Aluminium composite panel All corners of sign face shall be finished and filled neat with white/clear silicon sealant. Graphics pasted in Plotter cut Block out vinyl pasted over a translucent white vinyl and entire panel covered with a protective over laminate. The Plotter cut block out vinyl to match the specified colour (colour Pantone 2766 and Pantone 667C) and of specified make duly approved by the Engineer-in-Charge. The sign panel shall be fixed to sign mounting frame using Blind rivets. All Powder coating shall be done on all internal as well as external surfaces. Fabrication of Hollow section shall ensure no openings/cavities for access of moisture to the inside of hollow section. The item includes cutting and opening the floor finish at location on the footpath, excavation, fixing sign in PCC 1:2:4 as per drawing and finishing and making good the location to match the original finish after fixing and installation of sign. Providing and fixing stone pedestal made out of sadarhalli stone duly approved by engineer-in-charge using cement sand mortar as per drawing. Cost to include all fixtures nuts, bolts, screws, washers, anchor fasteners etc required for fixing the various parts of the sign.

Exterior Vicinity sign Non-Illuminated double sided: Post mounted: Drg. No.1.4a, 1.4.1. Providing and fixing Non-illuminated signs in exterior Vicinity areas of stations in a radius of 500 m with station at center at important junction on major roads. including all operations from fabrication to installation all complete as per relevant drawings, technical specifications, signage schedule etc complete all as specified as under. Sign mounting frame: The sign mounting frame made up of 40x40x5 mm MS Equal angles to form a frame provided with welded angle cleats plates in 40x40x5 mm MS Equal angles along the perimeter of frame with slots to receive the rivets to fix the sign frame as per drawing. Entire structure shall be made as one unit and finished in Powder Coat to match Colour Silver Metallic after all welding and grinding of burr, making holes/slots receiving sign panels, fitting the tube lights and electronic ballasts, including provision of unpainted areas for welding the structure on post. Providing and fixing in position Sadarhalli stone pedestal in hand dressed rough finish surface in required size and shape as per drawing in 2 parts. Making cavity in stone for accommodating electrical box installing the two halves joined together by filling Plain cement concrete (M25) keeping a clear groove of 25mm wide recessed and finished as per drawing. 2mm thick SS clamps bolted and set into 3mm thick groove made 150mm from top and 200mm from bottom of the pedestal to keep it intact and flushed to face. The item cost includes cutting and opening the floor finish at location, and making good the location to the match the original finish after fixing and installation of sign. The area will be calculated on the Size of the Graphic Face, only one face will be considered for measurement . Sign Mounting frame: Providing and fixing a sign mounting frame made up of 35 x 35 x 2mm aluminium equal angles for the full straight and/or wrapped length of the counter and with same material ties 300mm c/c of length welded to top and bottom member, provided with holes for fixing to the back surface and slots for receiving the sign frame. All fabrication shall be done using CNC machines. Complete mounting frame including channel supports are to be powder coated to match GreyG1 duly approved by Engineer-in-Charge. Sign frame flange receiving the sign shall be provided with slots to receive the rivets to fix the sign frame. the cost to include all additional cleats and arrangements for fixing to the wall surface at the back.Sign panel - Sign content : Providing and fixing sign content panel fixed on mounting frame provided with a frame at top and bottom made out of 1.6mm thick CRCA MS sheet frame fabricated to required size and shape, the frame shall be provided with a connecting strip made out of 2mm thick MS sheet laser cut to precision and use every joint between the sign panel and texture panel. The top frame shall be fixed on the mounting and the bottom frame fixed after inserting the sign face. All frame members shall be powder coated on all faces to match GreyG2. Sign face shall be made in 2mm thick aluminium sheet powder coated in White (RAL 9016) (as specified) having graphics pasted in Plotter cut Block out vinyl pasted over a translucent white vinyl and entire panel covered with a protective over laminate. The Plotter cut block out vinyl to match the specified colour (colour Pantone 2766 and Pantone 667C) and of specified make duly approved by the Engineer-in-Charge. The frame shall be made out of single sheets in continuous length without any joints and fixed to sign using screws. Powder coating shall be done on all internal as well as external surfaces. The quoted rate shall be per running meter. but all the signs are of 1.5m long . Sign panel - Texture pattern (running meter): Providing and fixing sign panels made out of 1.6mm thick CRCA MS sheet frame fabricated to required size and shape, to receive the texture pattern sign face which will wrap around the customer counter or extend the length Ticket counters. The frame shall be provided with a connecting strip made out of 2mm thick MS sheet laser cut to precision and use every joint between the sign panel and texture panel. The top frame shall be fixed on the mounting and the bottom frame fixed after inserting the sign face. All frame members shall be powder coated on all faces to match GreyG2. Suspenders shall be made to required lengths for each sign for its location after studying the site and ensuring a perfectly aligned and leveled sign installation. This item includes all work done on false ceiling like opening/dismantling/local cutting to pass the suspender and reinstalling/doing good/assembling the same after fixing and installation on the sign. Length of suspender for one sign is calculated as total length of 2 suspenders used for that sign. Light suspenders - Suspender NB 50mm, 3.5mm thick M.S. hollow section, fixed to concrete beam/slab on one end by using 6kmm thick M.S. plate & 12mm dia anchor fasteners of specified make or shall be fixed to heavy suspenders using 6mm M.S. plate as the case may be and the other end fixed to sign box using M8 bolts with lock nuts & lock clip washer’s entire assembly to be finished by powder coating to match Grey G3 as specified, fabricated and finished as specified in the drawing.

The entire assembly shall be finished in PU paint in colour Grey G3 to match as per drawing and as approved by the engineer-in-charge including fixing at site after due site checking and making good all the surfaces after the sign installed perfectly aligned and levelled.

Post - Providing and fixing 2 nos. sign posts in 80mm dia NB MS hollow sections fabricated along with its 6mm thick Mounting plates welded to the mounting frame, provided with anchor bars welded to bottom for embedding in concrete. Entire post structure along with Mounting frame to be welded and finished in PU paint to match GreyG3 colour. The item includes cutting and opening the floor finish at location, excavation, fixing sign in PCC 1:2:4 as per drawing and finishing and making good the location to the match the original finish after fixing and installation of sign. Providing and fixing stone pedestal made out of Sadarhalli stone for each post duly approved by Engineer-in-charge using cement sand mortar as per drawings finished. Cost to include all activities and temporary props used for a perfect vertical and in plumb installation, fixtures nuts, bolts, screws, washers, water etc required for fixing the sign in an external location.
