The required prior work experience for the bidder includes experience in works of a similar nature and size for each of the last five years. The bidder should have completed a certain quantity of work, including cement concrete and earthworks. The bidder should also have access to financial resources, including a line of credit, and should be able to invest a minimum cash amount of up to 25% of the contract value during implementation of the work. The bidder should have a minimum of 10% of the contract value as a line of credit and availability of other financial resources facilities, certified by the Bankers. Additionally, the bidder should have liquid assets and/or availability of credit facilities of no less than the amount indicated, usually the equivalent of the estimated cash flow for 3 months in the peak construction period.
