The required prior work experience for the bidder includes successfully completing or substantially completing certain categories of work(s) during the last 07 years. The categories are: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, - One similar work costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. In the case of composite works, the categories are: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, - One similar work each costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of each component of the tender. For subletting of work, the bidder should have successfully completed at least one work similar to the work proposed, with a value of not less than 35% of the work to be subletted, in the last 5 years. However, for subletting of work costing up to Rs 50 lakh, no previous work experience of the subcontractor is required. The value and percentage of similar works completed are: - 30% of the advertised value of the tender for three similar works, - 40% of the advertised value of the tender for two similar works, - 60% of the advertised value of the tender for one similar work, - 35% of the work to be subletted for subletting of work. The amount is up to Rs 50 lakh for subletting of work with no previous work experience required.
