The required prior work experience for the bidder includes successfully completing or substantially completing specific categories of work within the last 7 years. These categories include: (i) Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, (ii) Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, (iii) One similar work costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. For composite works, the bidder must have successfully completed or substantially completed any one of the following categories of work during the last 7 years: (i) Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, (ii) Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, (iii) One similar work each costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of each component of the tender. In the case of subletting work, the subcontractor must have successfully completed at least one work similar to the work proposed for subcontract, costing not less than 35% of the value of work to be subletted, in the last 5 years. However, no previous work experience is required for subletting work costing up to Rs 50 lakh. The value of similar works completed is considered based on the overall cost, including the PVC amount if paid. The percentages of similar works completed are 30%, 40%, and 60% of the advertised value of the tender or each component of the tender. Additionally, for substantially completed work, 90% of the present contract value is considered, and the credential certificate should have been issued not prior to 60 days of the date of invitation of the present tender. The average annual contractual turnover of the bidder should be minimum, calculated as an average of "total contractual payments" in the previous three financial years, as per the audited balance sheet. Specific values mentioned include Rs 200 Lakhs and above for deploying a Graduate Engineer, and Rs 25 Lakhs but less than Rs 200 Lakhs for deploying a Diploma Holder Engineer. Liquidated damages of Rs 40,000 for each month or part thereof for the default period for provisions related to the deployment of a Graduate Engineer, and Rs 25,000 for each month or part thereof for the default period for provisions related to the deployment of a Diploma Holder Engineer are also mentioned.
