South Eastern Railway Tender

The bidder must have successfully completed or substantially completed certain categories of work(s) during the last 07 years. The required prior work experience includes: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, - One similar work costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. In the case of composite works, the bidder must have successfully completed or substantially completed: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, - One similar work each costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of each component of the tender. Alternatively, the bidder can demonstrate experience by showing: - Two similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of each component of tender, - One similar work each costing not less than the amount equal to 60% of advertised value of each component of tender. For a subcontractor, the subcontractor must have successfully completed at least one work similar to the work proposed for subcontract, costing not less than 35% value of the work to be subletted, in the last 5 years. However, for subletting of work costing up to a certain amount (Rs 50 lakh), no previous work experience of the subcontractor shall be asked for. The values and percentages of similar works completed that are considered for evaluating technical credentials include: - 30% of the advertised value of the tender or each component of the tender - 40% of the advertised value of the tender or each component of the tender - 60% of the advertised value of the tender or each component of the tender - 35% value of the work to be subletted (for subcontractors)
