The required prior work experience for the bidder includes a total annual volume of civil engineering construction work executed and payments received in the last five years. The bidder should have worked as a prime contractor on construction works of a similar nature and volume over the last five years. For similar works completed, the bidder needs to provide details such as name of work, name of employer, description of work, value of contract, and other relevant information. The bidder should have completed at least one work of similar nature with a value not less than 1/3rd of the estimated value of the work tendered. Additionally, for tender amounts more than 2.5 cr, the bidder needs to provide details of existing commitments and on-going work, as well as a financial report for the last five years, including a balance sheet, profit and loss statements, and audit or report. The bidder should have achieved a minimum annual financial turnover of 50% of the estimated value of work tendered in the last five years. The escalation factors for the cost of works executed are: a multiplying factor for one year is 1.1, for two years 1.21, for three years 1.33, for four years 1.46, and for five years 1.61. The available bid capacity should be equal to or more than the total estimated value of the works for which they have offered the bid. The bidder should have satisfactorily completed at least one work of similar nature of value not less than 1/3rd of the estimated value of work tendered, with not less than 90% completion.
